"Oh, what ever happened to Doc Oc?" Peter asked, pancakes falling out of his mouth.

Hope scolded him lightly. "Don't talk with your mouth full."

He shrugged and looked back to his mentor, still expecting an answer.

"Well," the billionaire started nervously. "You see, uh, Steve! Yeah, Steve let him get away. When I was saving you. Sorry, kid."

Steve shot him a look that obviously screamed traitor. Tony shrugged one shoulder at the first Avenger and looked back to Peter.

Peter stared at him and swallowed thickly. "So my aunt is still in danger?"

Tony shifted awkwardly. "...Technically, yes, but I can have some people put in a defense and security system, if you want."

"What if she accidentally trips the alarm?" Peter frowned in thought, fork half way to his mouth.

"She won't."

"You obviously don't know my aunt very well Mr. Stark."
