VOODOO DOLL II !
IMAGINE !
o. WHY DID PETER HAVE TO GO AND MAKE YOU FEEL THIS WAY . . .
━━ 🕸️ ━━
Only a few weeks had passed since you discovered who the mysterious gaze belonged to. Somehow, you both were now working on almost all of your school projects together. You weren't entirely sure what you were feeling at this point. Half of your mind enjoyed the platonic company, but the other was constantly creating couple scenarios in your head; wondering what if would be like to have your hand in his.
Half of your body was hanging down from the side of Peter's bed, the entire room upside down in your perspective. Peter was comfortably sat in his desk chair across the room, sifting through numerous papers filled with Spanish sentences. Your presentation was over halfway done, and it wasn't due for another two weeks.
❝I'm tired,❞ you yawned, pulling yourself up from the upside-down state and regaining your balance. Peter furrowed his eyebrows, wondering how you could be so tired even when you had fallen asleep already. ❝I already know what you're thinking, y/n you took a nap two hours ago how can you be tired, but I couldn't fall asleep last night.❞ Although he would never admit it, he believed that your impression of him was somewhat spot-on.
❝Me too. This homework is really getting to me.❞ Peter mumbled, getting up from the chair and making his way over to you. Almost immediately, butterflies started to erupt in your stomach. It was something that had been happening more than usual, and you had no idea why.
Well, the main reason was Peter Parker, quite obviously. The thing that worried you was the fact that basically anything he did made the butterflies appear out of thin air. You had hardly seen your friends recently, considering that you had been spending all of your time with Peter.
The bed dipped down beside you, Peter's head being laid on your shoulder. You had no time to process what was going on, and to be honest, you liked the feeling.
・・・
❝y/n!❞ the crowded hallways still echoed your name, bouncing off the walls and following you everywhere. The past few hours had been a complete mess.
Late last night, Peter had called you simply just because he 'wanted to.' Your conversation lasted for over three hours, only stopping when you yawned or tried to persuade him to get some rest. It clearly didn't work, hence the reason why you were awake until four in the morning. In fact, you had no idea how he had kept you up all night.
Tiredness was evident in your eyes, irises almost fully dull with color. Your name rang through your ears again, and you finally stopped in your tracks. A simple spin around was enough to see the familiar face of the boy you had grown smitten with. It felt like you were trapped under his spell, and you had no way to get away. However, you weren't complaining.
❝Hey, are you alright?❞ he asked, placing one of his hands comfortingly on your shoulder. You lightly shut your eyes, somewhat hating the way you felt when he was around you.
He took notice of your slightly uncomfortable feeling, casually taking his hand off of your shoulder. You quickly shrugged your backpack further into your shoulders, although it really couldn't go further.
A flood of freshman split the two of you up like ocean waves, leaving the two of you without each other for a few minutes. More importantly, leaving you completely alone with your thoughts. You could already tell that you were missing your math class, but it was the least of your problems.
As the hallways cleared at the ring of the bell, you were left standing in front of Peter, not knowing what to say. You tried to assemble the words, but when you opened your mouth to speak, nothing came out.
❝y/n, you're not okay, I can tell byー❞ Peter was cut short when you finally spoke, running your hands through your hair in slight frustration.
❝I hate it when you do that. The little sparkles in your eyes, it makes me fall for you even harder. God, Peter, I have no idea what's going on anymore,❞ you explained, the rambling never ceasing.
❝this reference is going to kill you, I know it already, but it's the only way I can get my point across. I've actually fallen for you and I literally cannot get back up.❞
Peter cracked a smile, the grin growing bigger every second. He walked towards you, carefully placing his hands on the sides of your face as if you were a sculpture made of glass. At least, in his eyes, you were a beautiful masterpiece.
Your hands latched on top of his hands, not wanting his comfort to go away anything soon. However, his touch would always ignite butterflies, and you were sure that they would never disappear.
❝well that's convenient, considering I've fallen for you too.❞ A small second of laughter slipped out of your lips, already knowing that he wanted to burst out laughing from your reference. Peter grinned, loving to see your smile.
You leaned your forehead against his, not caring that you had already missed the first half of your class. He delicately presses his lips against yours, being careful as this was, indeed, his first kiss. His heart was beating quickly, wondering if he was doing things wrong. However, he was the cutest being nervous, which made things even more adorable.
❝do you have senior privilege?❞ Peter asked against your lips, earning another laugh from you. You nodded, wondering what in the world he could be asking for. ❝let's run out to that diner down the street and get a shit ton of pancakes.❞

idk if your guys' school has spo but it's basically where seniors get to skip out on a class if they have a 3.5 gpa or higher or something lmaoo so I just put that in there bc I had no idea how to end this, but it's cute uwu
