o. KARMA HITS PETER IN THE FACE DURING A TRIP TO THE AVENGER'S TOWER . . .
━━ 🕸️ ━━
The rather tall building sitting on the pavement in front of you simply blew your mind. As you stood there gawking at the reflective glass, Peter admired the way your eyes sparkled and lit up when you saw something that caught your attention. He assumed his eyes did the same each time he looked at you. Either way, he felt his heart completely melt.
Before you spent your entire day staring at the outer shell of the building, he took your hand in his and dragged you inside, giving you something else to admire. "Welcome to Avengers Tower, y/n."
As Peter pulled you across the marble floor and towards the elevators, you took the chance to run your hands over the intricate details on the wall. By now, the poor spiderboy was feeling a little jealous that all your attention was centered on a building rather than him.
He impatiently tapped his foot on the tile as you both waited for the metal doors to open. When they did, he pulled you inside and delicately placed a hand on the side of your cheek. "Hello, Earth to y/n? Love of my life!"
You snapped out of your fixed sight on the interior of the metal box you were in and gave Peter a sympathetic smile. "Sorry, it's just that this place is so fucking cool!" You wrapped your arms around his torso, bringing him a little closer as you snuggled into his body. "Thank you for bringing me here."
A smile appeared on his lips, pressing a small kiss to the top of your head. "Considering you made my webshooters better than I did, I think you deserve to be an Avenger but y'know, next best thing!" The metal doors opened to reveal an interesting sight.
Half of the Avengers were throwing food at each other. Your eyebrows furrowed, following a secretive Peter as he quietly made his way up the stairs to avoid detection. "I'll introduce you guys when they're not having a...food fight? I promise you it's usually not like this."
You nodded, slightly confused with the entire fiasco. However, your confusion subsided when Peter pulled you into the rather large gym that was inside of the tower. He let go of your hand, allowing you to look over every single piece of machinery as he slipped into his red and blue suit.
It somehow annoyed you how they got to use the treadmills and such, run for over and hour and not get tired while you ran for thirty minutes and basically passed out for what felt like a year. It was completely unfair in your opinion.
The sudden web engulfing your entire body made your attention snap to Peter, who was standing across from you with an innocent smile on his face. He was beginning to laugh until you glared at him, immediately stopping his laughter. "I'm so sorry, y/n. I pressed the button and it justーshot you!"
You nodded again, watching as Peter simply just stood still for a while. Looking down at your body and back up at him, you gave him a confused look. "A little help would be nice, Pete."
The reminder that you were engulfed in webs slipped back into his mind. He quickly rummaged through his backpack, pulling out a small pocket knife before cutting the webs off of you. Thanking him, you stepped out of the cocoon, wiping the little bits of web off of your jeans.
As he was placing the relatively small pocket knife back in his yellow backpack, he noticed the small blue button on the side of his web shooter. You could say his curiosity got the best of him. "What's this?"
"Peter don't touch thatー" your jean-covered knees allows you to slide underneath a nearby, conveniently covered table as you watched his finger press the button. After a few noises echoed through the empty gym, you peeled the table's curtains open. Of course he just had to click the emergency button. Then again, maybe you shouldn't have put it on his hand.
You tried to hold in your laughter as the entire place looked as if a blizzard appeared inside of the building. There, Peter stood, completely covered in webs.
A laugh slipped out of your lips. "And that's karma for Peter Parker."
