o. HARRISON FORGETS ABOUT THE BOARDING DELAY  . . .

The poor boy who has been swamped with to-do lists and things to remember had forgotten a small, yet completely important detail—that may or may not have been the foundation for the entire trip you were both about to embark on.

With all the last-minute packing and scheduling for his best friend, he had forgotten about the alert that went out earlier that afternoon—that your flight had been delayed by a few hours. It wasn't his fault, however. He had too much on his plate with attempting to get ready for the trip to New York; in order to become Tom's assistant for a week or two.

You groaned in pain for what seemed like the billionth time; not entirely keen on the fact that out of the thirty-one days in October, your monthly pain had to show up on the week you wanted to enjoy a small getaway.

"I'm so sorry that you're going through all this pain, darling," Harrison's limber fingers combed through your silky hair, trying to avert your attention away from the pain.

You hummed in content. "You're the absolute sweetest, Haz."

Because of your close proximity to one another, you could practically feel his smile tugging at his lips. He took a moment to turn his wrist around, taking another look at the watch. There was still another hour before your plane was supposed to be boarding.

With all the warm bodies in the airport, the two of you were fairly surprised that the building was colder than usual; considering that you were there often. However, Harrison had thought smart and brung along a fleece blanket that was just big enough for the two of you.

While still keeping an arm around your shoulders, he pulled the relatively large blanket out of the already-opened backpack. In one swift motion, the two of you were cuddled up in one bundle of warmth.

"Does this New York trip mean we can visit the cat cafe?" You yawned. As much as your eyes wanted to lock up for a while, you had to stay awake so you could fall asleep on the plane instead.

Harrison's eyes lit up, vividly remembering the last cafe you had visited last time you were both visiting New York. Although you both entirely loved Monty, seeing the kittens was the most anticipated attraction in your vacations. No matter where you travelled, the two of you almost always found something that had to do with animals.

"Of course! How could we miss out on the little furballs?" Harrison laughed.

You simply hummed in agreement, shutting your eyes for a mere minute. However, the slumber must have taken over your entire body, considering that when your eyelids peeled open, your plane was beginning to board everyone. It took the entirety of you to stand up from your comfortable spot in Haz's arms, but you had to. There was no way that you were going to miss a flight for the second time this month.

"I just want to sleep, is that too much to ask for?" You yawned. Stretching your body out, you began to pick your things up off of the floor. "Remind me to never book a three in the morning flight ever again."

Harrison flung his arm around your shoulder, the fleece Batman blanket still in his hands. Nodding, the two of you strolled over to the gate, potentially a little too ready to catch up on sleep during the flight.

HI LOVIES! It's been forever since I last posted and I now that I'm on holiday break I'll have plenty of time to update + write and I'm so excited! Again, I'm so sorry for the wait, loves!
