New Suit, New Me
In my dream state, I was trapped under a web and it felt like I was an insect until I came face to face with a giant spider. Its fangs was ready to strike me until I woke up with sweats all over my face.
(y/n): Man, I should've eat before I passed out.
Suddenly, Bishop came to my room and checks on me.
Bishop: You okay, (y/n)?
(y/n): I'm okay. Just let me take a shower and something to eat before I'm gonna give you and Carlos an announcement.
Bishop: Alright, I'll just let Carlos know. He's just making some pizza.
I went inside of the bathroom and closed the door behind me until I took my clothes and look at the mirror as I looked like I could be a lifeguard for Baywatch. After I took a shower, I headed downstairs and see Bishop and Carlos sitting down on the couch, drinking a can of Coca-Cola.
Carlos: So (y/n), what's the announcement that you're gonna show us?
(y/n): This.
I started to shoot an organic webbing from my wrist at the Coca-Cola can and drag it towards me until I caught it in midair. Carlos and Bishop were speechless and shocked that I have same abilities like Spider-Man.
(y/n): Before you start killing me or say some questions about me, I'm not related to Peter Parker. I'm still the same guy except with the powers of the Spider.
Carlos: Look (y/n), I'm gonna be straight with you. I've seen weird stuff like aliens, gods, an old man that has million of jobs in every universe, and mutants all of my life, but this is like everyday for me.
Bishop: Okay, how does it feel to be the next Spider-Man of New York?
(y/n): Bishop, Carlos, I feel like it could be a curse that's handed down to me.
Carlos walked towards me and put his hand on my shoulder.
Carlos: Hey, you're just an extraordinary person that we've met in person. Besides, it kinda feels good to be a guy that save lives than be a guy that does crime.
I agreed with Carlos, it feels good to be a guy that save lives than be a guy that does crime.
Bishop: (y/n), I have an idea for you. I'll try to work on some gadgets for you while you try to sketch a new suit for yourself.
(y/n): Wait, how do you create some gadgets?
Bishop: Dude, you're talking to an ex-scientist of Oscorp. Listen, why don't you try practicing your webs and combat, and find an idea to create your own suit.
(y/n): Fine, I better see what I could do with those powers, but Carlos better be my personal coach.
Carlos: Okay, but you better not mess around during our training.
(y/n): How long does this training last?
Carlos: 3 months. If you can survive stealing and fighting in the city and escaping prison, I bet you could survive this training and have an awesome time as a hero.
(y/n): Alright, let's do this!
Carlos and I ran outside to test my abilities while Bishop was grabbing many scraps to create gadgets. Each day was a process while the first and second month was getting better. Then, three months had passed. The once smoke filled sky was now clear, and chaotic streets was now filled with cars and busy pedestrians. The damage to the city during the breakout was real, but repairs were quick and efficient while other buildings that were not repaired were in the process of being repaired.
While the progress was being made in the city, my progress of being Spider-Man is almost complete as I was on the rooftop of my hideout.
Carlos: I see that you're ready to finish your last training.
(y/n): I'm so pumped for this!
Carlos: Since Bishop finished the gadgets, let's see how you can use these bad boys.
I was excited to try out Bishop's web shooters as it looks ready.
Carlos: Now, web me!
(y/n): Alright, here we go!
I quickly pressed the button on the web shooters rapidly as the webs were wrapped around Carlos. He was having a hard time getting it off of him.
(y/n): 3 months of training me into Spider-Man and you can't beat his webs?
Carlos: Don't worry, just use baking soda, soap, and warm water can help me get me off of the webs.
(y/n): True. Before we started to train, I might've handed my suit in my drawing book to Bishop after he finished the gadgets and he'll finish it this afternoon.
Bishop found the two of us on the rooftop and interrupted our conversation.
Bishop: I need you two in here. Now.
We went inside of my hideout and sit in the living room couch.
Bishop: I have some good news, gentlemen.
Carlos: We're getting our first stakeout.
Bishop: I wish, but it's not the news that I wanted tell you sadly. I'm here to tell you that I've finished the suit for (y/n) and we're gonna save the city.
(y/n): Alright, is there more news?
Bishop: There's news that the museum got a super expensive diamond and it's beautiful. Besides, I know a guy who knows a guy that pulls out information about Hammerhead's crew.
(y/n): What are they doing?
Bishop: Getting the diamond off of the display and steal it around midnight.
(y/n): Alright, let's be heroes tonight and protect the diamond.
Bishop: Go, explore the city and give the people the hope they've deserved.
Before I run outside, I grabbed my Spidey suit and change into it.
As I ran outside, I jump highly from building to building until I started to swing towards another building and slide down from the roof.
(y/n): WOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
I started to swing past pedestrians as they were shocked to see the new Spider-Man. From building to building, everyone was taking the photos of me as I was ready to take on the city itself.
