Random strangers

Peter woke up in a small white room. He recognized it all to well as a hospital room. It was empty all except for him, a bed, a nightstand, and a card on the nightstand. He was under the covers of his bed so he pulled them off. In doing so he realized he had strange metallic bands around his wrist with a button attached to his palm.

He couldn't remember what they possibly were. Or anything that happened before now. In fact, he couldn't remember who he was!

He rubbed his forehead trying to figure things out. How could he remember this was a hospital room, but couldn't remember who his own family was?! He reached for the card on the nightstand for some possible answers.

It was a red card with hearts drawn all over it. The front said, get well soon.
He opened it and saw a picture of what must have been him. He was standing with a darkish skinned girl with brown frizzy hair. She was very beautiful in his opinion, but he didn't know who she was.

A note was written next to the picture, it said, dear Peter, I miss you so much after you've been gone for the last week. You really got your head hard huh? I know your not awake, and I don't know when you will be awake to read this, but I want you to know that when to do, I'll be here waiting for you. I hope you get better and I hope you can read this, I love you so much.
Your girlfriend, Michelle Jones

Oh so the girl must have been his girlfriend. But he couldn't remember her. That's great. He set the card down after taking out the picture. He heals it delicately in his hands as if it were the most precious thing in the world. He rubbed his thumb over the girls smiling face, desperately trying to know who she could be. Michelle Jones, his girlfriend, and a complete stranger.

The door to the hospital room opened and a nurse walked in without taking notice of him. She carried a tray full of medicine and shot containers. Also some weird tube things. She had her back turned to him as she set it down on a counter and began filling up the the shot containers to the right amount of vaccines and fluids. She took the tube thing and washed it out in a sink as if it were dirty, but it looked perfectly clean. She set the items on the tray again and grabbed an expo marker. She raised it up, uncapped, to a small white board with different writings on it. Probably medications, and what times she was supposed to give them to him.

She marked off three medications and some weird thing he didn't recognize. She set the market down, picked up the tray, sand finally faced him. Their eyes locked and she dropped the tray which clattered to the ground.

"Oh my gosh." She mumbled.

"H-hey?" He asked hesitantly. The nurse burst out of the room leaving the door wide open.

When she returned she had a team of doctors with her. They began examining Peter despite his protests and questions. They asked him questions that made absolutely no sense like, "what's it like being spider man?" Or "how do you feel?" Or "how did you get hit?" And "what happened exactly before you slipped away?"

"Hold up what the heck guys?" Peter tried shoving them away. "What are you talking about?"

"Are you kidding? You don't know?"

"Dude I legit don't even know my name! How am I supposed to know what the heck a man spider is?!" Peter said with slight anger. The doctors backed away in shock at his outburst. They were silent for a bit before yelling over each other's voices and giving commands to one another.

"Check his vitals!"

"What's his blood pressure like?! Some one check on that!"

"He Betty, go get the boy some water will ya?!"

"Bring him some food!"

"Pick up the vaccines!"

"Take a blood pressure test already!"

"For Petes sake! Let's get an MRI first!"

"Hold up hold up!" Peter interrupted. "Can someone please explain!"

"Look kid we honestly have a faint idea which is why we need you to tell us." Said a man.

"I don't know! That's why I asked you!" Peter kinda shrieked. His voice felt sore.

"A girl named Michelle called us in a month or so ago and we brought you here. You were in a coma for a month and a half!"

"Wait what?"

"Kid, we discovered you were Spider Man, you were in a crime fight down in Brooklen. You had a major concussion and you had lost slit of blood. Now some one get me a blood test!"

Peter took a moment to process. Who exactly was spider boy? He did not know.

He let the doctors run tests on him and take samples. The concluded that he had lost his memory and likely wouldn't get it back for the next week or so. His family was called in and he was left alone in his room to wait for them.

When the door burst open a pretty older lady rushed in with puffy red eyes and large glasses. She dashed over to Peter who was staring at her in confusion.

"Oh my gosh, Peter." She put and hand over her mouth and rubbed his cheek. He, on instinct, swatted her hand away from his face. She gasped in surprise. "Peter?"

"Who the heck are you?!"

"It's me! Your Aunt May! You really don't remember?"

"I have never seen you in my life. Not that I know of. And when they said my family was coming in, I expected my parents." Peter said kinda rudely. More tears filled Aunt May's eyes. She turned away and sobbed. A girl stepped in front of her.

Peter looked up and recognized her as the girl from the picture.

"Peter, you don't remember anything?" She asked. She didn't try and touch him, hug him, or anything. She just stood there with a face of pity. She saw the photo in his hands that Peter was still holding, this whole time.

"No. But are you Michelle?" He wondered.

"Yes." A tear ran down her cheek.

"And remember me?! I'm your best friend! Ned." A chubby boy came into view. Peter sorrowfully shook his head. Ned looked down in sadness.

Aunt May looked back at him. "Just, try to remember dear. I'm so sorry." She cried. Peter grabbed her hand softly.

"Don't be sorry. It not your fault... I think." Peter comforted.

Time skip

After two days Peter was taken home. His house was a small apartment and apparently he lived with his aunt. He grew used to her and warmed up to the woman after a couple day. Slowly, his memories of her came back and he stopped treating her like a random stranger.

Other memories floated into his brain as well. He remembered Ned was his best friend, so he invited him over for dinner. He also remembered that Aunt May liked Italian so the three went to an Italian place.

But no matter how hard he tried, he could not remember Michelle Jones. He knew who she was, but in jus mind, she was a stranger.

He also had no clue who spider man was, or that spider man was him. So he almost called the cops when he got stuck on the ceiling with his feet at 1 in the morning. Aunt May told him it was a normal thing for him and he shouldn't be afraid. Peter found those metal wrist bands with the button from the hospital. He decided to put them back on, it just felt right.

Unfortunately one day he got curious what the buttons did. He was standing at his open window in his bedroom when he pressed it.

A silver white web shot out of it and flew out the window. Peter jumped back in surprise, but then screamed as it grabbed hold of a building, opposite of his apartment, and pulled him out the window. So now he flew across the street and smashed his face into s brick wall. It hurt for a bit but he found the pain quickly disappeared. This was because of his healing powers he had no idea about.

Oh and also he was stuck to the side of a building with his fingers.

No an attempt to get back to his bedroom, he shit the web back. But he missed horribly and flew very far away from his home in an unfamiliar city to him.

And you probably already guessed it, he got lost.

Peter went farther and farther from his house and ended up slamming right into a different apartment building window. It shattered and he fell through and hit the floor of the apartment.

Someone screamed. He looked up and saw Michelle. "Uh..."

"Peter what the h*ll?!" She demanded. Peter shrugged. He couldn't keep his eyes away from her soft brown eyes.

He caught himself staring and looked away. He tried to get up but fell over, hitting his head on her desk. "Ouch." He uttered.

"I can't believe you right now." She admitted. "What are you doing?!"

"Well these thingies had a button so I pressed it and it took me here. Sorry."

"And your ok?" She helped him up.

"Yeah." Memories flooded back to him as their hands touched and his eyes locked with hers. "I uh.." He remembered her calling him a looser in the cafeteria with Ned, and he remembered when he tried to confess his love for her while on a bridge in a strange country he couldn't remember. He remembered her discovering he was this spiderman guy, and he remembered sharing his first kiss with her. Memories flooded his mind as his face went blank.

"Are you ok?" She asked.

"MJ."

Her face became a surprised one. "You remember?!"

"I remember you!" He said with joy and pulled her into a tight hug. She hugged him back and nuzzled her face in his neck.

"Oh my gosh finally!" She began to cry.

"And you'll still be my girlfriend?"

"Of course Peter!" She pulled away from the hug and kissed his nose. "I've been waiting."

After another week Peter went back to school and remembered his travel club, his bulky Flash, his classmates, and his teachers. After another month, it was like he had never lost his memory. And he became spider man once more.

(Also he remembered his fear of fabreeze)
