Chapter 15.2

[ FEAST ]

Swinging onto one of the nearby rooftops, Peter (Andrew) scoped the situation at hand. There were Daily Bugle vans and cop cars at the scene, aiming into the building inside. At eye's view, there was no threat to be seen. It was just a regular sight that was being unusually guarded by the cops.

—Until they got closer.

As they proceeded to the main door, electricity began crackling around the block. Everything that was metal began shaking, which not only scared the reporters, but the cops as well.

A large storm of dust entered the area, creating a smokescreen of sorts.

In a sudden turn of events, a large bolt of electricity shocked the main police cruiser outside. At this point, the police began to escort the civilians away from the area.

As Peter (Andrew) watched the scene from above, he thought to himself.

I bet this guy's name is Shocker.

Peter (Andrew) sensed the people that were about to grab onto the metal lampposts on the street. By instinct and experiences, his webs attached to their wrists and pulled them away. The reporters and police understood who it was immediately—Spider-Man. Looking up to the building, both expressed different feelings.

The reporters began recording the Spider-Man (Andrew), while the cops opened fire at him. Peter (Andrew) backflipped his way a little inwards to the building, getting out of sight from them.

"Glad to know I'm as loved here by the cops as my own universe." He sarcastically stated, waiting for the bullets to stop. When the coast was clear, he performed as large leap to the entrance of the building—much to the chagrin of the cops. "Hey, guys! Hope you're enjoying your night!"

"OPEN FIRE!" The leading officer commanded.

In an instant, Peter (Andrew) pulled the flaming cop car in front of him upwards, blocking the bullets. As the cops were confused as to what was happening, Peter (Andrew) snagged their weapons out of the air. All the weapons flew by him, grabbing the last gun in the air.

"Look, I appreciate the safety for civilians, but I'm one of you guys!" Peter (Andrew) joyfully joked, unloading the clip. "If you would excuse me,"

Peter (Andrew) entered the FEAST complex, webbing the entrance firmly. The place had obviously been raided by this mysterious force. There were papers and broken cement flooring scattered around the place. It reeked of ash. To his relief, there were no bodies laying around.

He went into the cafeteria, which had its lights completely closed. It was too dark and quiet, as he walked on the bare floor of the room. There was something watching him—it was like the shadows had eyes. Then he heard the heavy breathing of a man behind him.

C'mon, that's too easy.

Peter (Andrew) turned around, doing his signature pose. What emerged from the shadows was a man in a yellow costume, with electricity emitting from him. As he revealed himself, the entire cafeteria lit up with it.

"Hello, Spider."

"What th—" Peter (Andrew) tilted his head, recognising him. "Max?"

Dillon was taking aback by his memory, seemingly forgetting him the night before. At this moment he knew—this was a different Spider-Man from before. Besides the suit give-away, the posture and confidence were much improved. It seemed like—

—this was his Spider-Man.

"You're from my universe, huh?" Dillon acknowledged, walking around the cafeteria tables.

Peter (Andrew) stood up, maintaining some distance as they circled around one another. "Who's to say? I mean, you look so yellow! You used to be so blue!"

"Who the hell says blue anymore?" Dillon threateningly glared at him.

"No!" Peter (Andrew) had such a strong, sarcastic tone. "I meant that you were actually blue!"

"So what?!" Dillon ignored his statement. "You come here to kill me? Just like you did in mine?"

"I don't kill... what you did to yourself is your fault... if we're talking about the same thing."

"What happened to me being your eyes and ears? I thought you cared for the little guy—like Max Dillon!" His frustrations showed as his hands electrified.

"What are you talking about, you're Max Dillon!" Peter (Andrew) prepared, getting to his pose.

"I'M ELECTRO!"

Electro sent a blast of electricity at Peter (Andrew), which he dodged with ease. His flexible body was much different from the heavy Spider-Man (Tom) from before. This suit was much more suited to combat him than the other. This was only going to get harder.

Luckily, the suit allowed him to control the amount of electricity he was outputting rather than the random waves he had been doing before. At least it gave him an advantage in preserving.

But this Peter (Andrew) was too agile. He was trying to get in to his air space quick, and was doing it with little to no effort. He couldn't battle him in hand to hand combat, so he had to improvise.

As Peter (Andrew) knocked him back, he used the electricity to lift the table and throw it at him. With a swift response, he double-kicked it to the ceiling and webbed it there.

"Stay still!" Electro shouted in irritation, shooting blasts of electricity at him.

"Looks like someone missed pitching practice!" Peter (Andrew) playfully mocked him, angering him more.

With an awful shot, he shot the electricity to the wall which crumbled it due to overexposure to energy. The pipes in the wall exploded, leading it to exposing the group of people that were hiding in the wall just there.

Peter (Andrew) knew immediately and stood in front of them, waiting for Electro's move.

"Bring it!" Peter (Andrew) challenged, jumping up and down.

Electro's suit shifted, exposing plates on his chest. More electricity began powering him, getting ready to release a large ball of energy at them.

Peter (Andrew) looked to the crowd, who were now screaming. "Actually, YOU MIGHT WANT TO RUN!"

It was too late for Peter (Andrew), as Electro released the ball. He shot an impact web at some of the people that were too close from the trajectory of the ball. They were knocked out of the room, as Peter (Andrew) took the brunt of the hit. He was knocked back to the ground, as the electric shock was still in him.

—However, the crowd had escaped into the deeper parts of the building. It was enough for Peter (Andrew) to know that they are safe.

"You should have really joined me, Peter. I always thought you were for the people." Electro stated, walking over to him.

"That's the problem, Max." Peter (Andrew) chuckled, as he got into range. "In any universe, I wouldn't..."

Taking a step further, Electro was right under the table that was stuck to the ceiling. Shooting the two ends of the table, he pulled it down forcefully. It crashed onto Electro, trapping him on the ground. Peter (Andrew) then began covering the rubble with his webs, making sure that there were no gaps in-between.

"Here, here, here, here!" Peter (Andrew) repeated as he speedily continued to confine Electro in. There was some murmuring under the table, which he responded to. "What?! I can't hear you under there, Max!"

When he was sure that Max was trapped, he began punching through the wall to reach out for the electrical wires. Gathering anything that received electricity, he was basically flying through the cafeteria. As he had enough wiring, there was a crackling sound coming from the rubble. In a heap of rage, Electro exploded the debris away and stared at Peter (Andrew) right away.

"You're starting to piss me off!"

"Don't worry, you'll be seeing out in a bit!"

Peter (Andrew) bundled the wires together while dodging the electricity. Electro kept on shooting, but missed due to his acrobatic swerving throughout the cafeteria. As the wire kept on stretching, he decided to shoot that instead. Hitting the middle of the wire, a surge of electricity hit Peter (Andrew).

Screaming in pain due to the shock, he let go of the wiring and tried to keep himself together. It was another case of him being electrified to the point that his gear couldn't keep up. His left web shooter began falling apart, similar to that one fight in Times Square.

—Right, Times Square.

"I'm sorry, web shooter!" Peter (Andrew) said shakily, smashing the piece of gear with his right hand. A flood of web fluid exploded, and Peter (Andrew) grabbed one strand mid-air. Throwing it at Electro's face, he was struck in the face and thus stunned.

He connected his web to the wire, powering Electro with the electricity of the entire street. He was obviously gaining much more power, displayed by the laughter of the glowing man. However, this was different from their universes.

Slowly, Electro's armor was tearing apart.

"This isn't the same, Max!" Peter (Andrew) declared, chuckling. "You're relying on the suit! You're not pure energy!"

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO—!!!"

In a sudden explosion, Peter (Andrew) was sent into the wall. It was such a powerful electricity surge that it caused a blackout in Chinatown—maybe even throughout New York. Thankfully, he was still able to stay awake. There was a sudden hole where Electro exploded. He didn't know if he died, but it was safe to say that he was gone for now.

The same could be same for the suit. There were holes all over his suit, exposing his skin. Conveniently, it was only his chest. Touching his face, there was also a large hole in the bottom part of his mask. It was just enough to cover his face, but he was still anxious.

—And his nightmare came true.

A woman in her mid-50's wearing a white blouse with blue jeans ran over to the injured Spider-Man (Andrew). He hovered his hand over his exposed skin in the face, hoping that she wouldn't notice.

"Oh my god, are you okay?!" The woman asked, checking his suit.

"Ye—yeah..." Peter (Andrew) shyly responded, trying to be respectful.

"What the hell were you thinking, Peter?!" She noticed the burn marks on his arms.

"Um... you don't need to worry, ma'am," Peter (Andrew) grunted, trying to stand up. "I'll just be on my way."

"Ma'am? When did you get so formal, Peter?"

—With that, Peter (Andrew) put two and two together.

"Wh—what?! You're May?!" He gasped, shuffling backwards near the broken window.

"'You're May?!' What is that supposed to mean?!" She sounded confounded by Peter's sudden change of character. It was like she barely knew her. Unless... "Peter?"

"R—right!" Peter (Andrew) placed one of his legs out of the window. "I got some things to do upstate, see 'ya!"

"Take the mask off, Peter!" May approached him, as he now placed both his legs off the window. "Peter!"

Without a moment's notice, Spider-Man (Andrew) jumped off the window and began swinging into the city which had been in a total blackout since the explosion. May was leaning outside, watching as her nephew went into the night sky effortlessly—his blue and red suit illuminating very clearly. She sighed, placing her hand on her head.

"Jeez..." May muttered as the sound of the police entering the building echoed through the hall. "Even if you are different from the one I know, you're still all the same. Hehe..."
