Chapter 05:
A warm comforting feeling encompassed her. Noting the instant shift in stimuli, she slowly opened her eyes and saw that she was in a levitating orb of yellow light. How? FLY had literally sent her flying like a baseball when a black mysterious mark had appeared on its forehead and had defeated WINDY.

"Sakura, are you alright!" Cerberus worriedly called from above.

Hearing one of the guardians of the Clow Cards, the brunette's gaze moved upwards.

Honey blonde strands gently drifted about in the wind. On the broomstick was the musician she had just met today, Suzanna Croft. A black wolf like plush that had great similarities with Cerberus in looks was clinging onto the girl's right shoulder with tears on the sides of his eyes.

Cerberus was with them.

"I am alright Kero!" She replied.

Then the light orb that encased her floated up towards the trio.

Suzana's rhythmically breathed in and out, focusing her concentration onto her wand.

After the orb reached them, it popped like a bubble and Sakura smoothly ended up on the broomstick, behind Suzana. The sensation had reminded her of how she had regained her balance when she should have fallen earlier in school today.

Suzana turned her head, looking at Sakura. "It's great that you aren't hurt."

"Thank you for saving me."

"No problem." The blonde smiled tilting her head to the side.

"Sakura." Cerberus floated over to her.

"When I was going to capture FLY-"

"-A 'X' like symbol appeared on his forehead and FLY suddenly became more powerful. And WINDY was easily defeated." He said these more as statements than interrogative sentences.

Sakura nodded.

He wasn't sensing things. 'It could only be his work.' Cerberus thought.

"Did you know that was going to happen?" Asked the green eyed child.

Cerberus opened his mouth to answer but before he could, him, Suzana and Sirius gazed in the direction FLY had took off in. "I'll have to tell you about that later. If you don't capture FLY now, we don't know when he will appear again, especially with that mark that is continually enhancing his abilities by the second, Sakura."

'Meaning that FLY is even more stronger than when he had defeated WINDY.' Suzana concluded, her gaze lingering on Sakura.

Before the newly titled Cardcaptor could voice her concern, Suzana said. "Don't worry, I will help you catch that Clow Card, Sakura-chan."

Those words reverberated in Sakura's ears, causing her to recall the dream she had.

"Don't worry, I will help you capture that Clow Card -"

Even though the scene wasn't the same as her dream: it excluded Cerberus, Suzana was flying (on her broomstick) instead of being still in air and the wolf plush was crying for someone named Rhode, those words Suzana had said remained the same.

'I came up with a plan of capturing WINDY. I'll explain it to you on the way. Let me know what you two think.' Suzana's voice rang in their minds. Sakura's and Cerberus' eyes widened because of this. Magic flooded into her broomstick. 'Hold on tight. I am going beyond max.' She winked.

With this Sirius immediately commenced to wail, his tear glands preparing to work. 'Beyond WHAT!!! No An-sama! Oh Rhode-sama I am going to be returning to you soon in another form!!!'

After Suzana went beyond 'max' as she had addressed it, the four had discussed about the plan and the actions they were going to do. Soon the azure blue bird came into view. Even though he was a great distance away, one could easily discern FLY was even larger and quicker than before.

"Ok, Sakura-chan, we're going to commence with step one." Suzana informed.

Sakura nodded. "I'm ready!"

Suzana closed her tawny brown eyes, reopened them then gazed at the stars in night sky, calmly breathing in and out. She tried to make the magical power within her body flow as precisely as she could get it to, directing that power to her vocal box. "Sirius, reveal thy true form." She held her left hand towards Sirius and a purplish black sphere of magic encircled him.

A gold star emerged on Sirius' forehead and began to glow. Then his entire body was enveloped within an illuminating white light, and this light commenced to grow in magnitude as he changed forms.

This transformation took place within seconds.

And Sakura gasped in amazement of this transformation.

The once adorable black wolf plush now looked liked an actual wolf with gray wings. His voice was very deep and respectful. "Please command me as you wish, Lady Suzana." Sirius personality had done a complete one hundred and eight degree change because of him changing states.

Cerberus was silent through all of this, observing the pair with his arms folded. He was pondering if they were connected to him and to continued on with his observations.

Suzana then mounted Sirius and Sakura was left in control of Suzana's broomstick. Making the broomstick stay airborne was just as easy as Suzana had described to her and Sakura was sure she wouldn't have any problems of maneuvering it as she desired.

Seeing that Sakura had gotten the handle on it, Suzana gently patted Sirius head. "You know what to do Sirius."

"Indeed, Lady Suzana." His dark gray wings spread out even further as a dark purple magical aura lined his physique. Sirius' black eyes narrowed and within the blink of an eye, he along with his master was gone.

Sirius once transformed could fly even faster than Suzana's beyond 'max' mode than when she was utilizing her broomstick. He was much stronger as well. But the drawbacks of allowing Sirius to transform drained approximately seventy-five precent of Suzana's magical power and it would take a while for Sirius to prepare to be transformed by Suzana.

Suzana and Sirius were in front of FLY by some distance. Her wand reappeared in her left hand from the white lily charm of her cute silver chained bracelet. Seeing FLY zoom towards her with no thoughts of stopping, she speedily chanted, "inferantur impedimenta oculis meis (paralyzing eyes)." Her big tawny brown eyes crackled with light blue lightning.

Once FLY had met the young sorceress in training gaze, the Clow Card felt as if pure lightning had struck him, rendering him unable to move. As he screeched loudly, the 'X' that was on his forehead pulsated then gleamed. Before FLY could hit the ground, the Clow Card commenced in regaining feeling of his body.

As Suzana and Cerberus had predicted, the paralyzing eye spell taking in the accounts of the rest of her magical power left and her level, they had deduced that the spell would only effect FLY for a maximum of five seconds if she was lucky. And she was. A large smile blossomed on Suzana's face. This was just what she and Sakura needed.

Before the last second could've slipped by, Sakura and Cerberus had caught up, appearing behind closely behind FLY.

Due to the telepathic communication Suzana had casted on both herself and Sakura, the two were within sync as Suzana casted a spell and as Sakura unleashed WINDY. "exibit spiritus vinculo ligare (come forth binding chains of wind)/become a binding chain, WINDY!"

The similar wind attributed magic that was brought forth by the two girls in synchronization immensely amplified each other and confined FLY just as Suzana's paralyzation spell on him was going to wear off. FLY was overpowered by this dual effort even more so since they had done these acts at the same time. The azure bird couldn't easily break free and gravity became his enemy, pulling him down.

"This is your chance, Sakura!" Cerberus noted.

"I know, Kero!" Standing on the broomstick as if she was riding on a surf board, Sakura twirled her magical staff. "Return to the guise that you were meant to be in - Clow Card!"

FLY struggled as he was being captured making a bit difficult for Sakura. Then the 'X' on his forehead cracked before fading and as Sakura had commanded, FLY returned to his true guise. "Phew!" Sakura breathed out a sigh of relief and accomplishment.

Suzana giggled, flying over to Sakura on Sirius. "Way to go, Sakura-chan!" The blonde held out her for her high-five.

"You too! I couldn't have done it without your help! Thank you!" Sakura smiled, allowing her hand to meet Suzana's.

"No need to for thanks! I should be the one thank you because I got to see WINDY and FLY in action!" Her tawny brown eyes sparkled with excitement. When it truly came to new things involving magic Suzana always became animated to learn about them.

At the same time, azure blue eyes of a shrouded figure that were watching the girls vanished. "Well done Sakura Kinomoto and ... Xiao An."

"Hmm?" Suzana peered over in the direction of where the man once was. She was certain she had heard someone call her by one of her nicknames. And the only person who would call her by that nickname was, 'dad?'

• Suzana has always had a need for speed (so when Sirius is saying she is going fast, this is one of times when he's not over-exaggerating that she's going fast), but from her point of view she thinks of that speed as normal.
