Third Person's POV

We start at Amy's house, as Sonic, Brody, Ralph, Knuckles, Amy and Sticks are watching TV until Amy switches the TV off "I like that movie, but the beginning was kind of slow" Sonic said "Sonic, you just don't understand how movies and TV shows work. They always have a little filler material before someone bursts in to get the real story started" Amy said and Tails and Turbo burst in to the house in excitement "Guys! Check out our newest invention: a Super Antenna!" Tails said "It's so strong that when you hook it up to a TV, it picks up broadcasts from the past" Turbo said and switches on the TV "This hour of radio is sure to get your toes a-tapping. Brought to you by lead-based paint, and asbestos. The perfect combination for your baby's nursery" The TV said "Can it play music from our childhood?" Amy asks "It will in about 80 years" Tails said and Knuckles and Sticks groan "Great job, Tails and Turbo" Sonic and Brody said "I think it's a useful invention" Knuckles said "Thanks, Sonic, Brody and Knuckles!" Tails and Turbo said but Knuckles picks up the antenna and uses it to scratch his back "It makes a great backscratcher" Knuckles said "Not bad, Knuckles" Sticks said "Looks like there's another inventor in town" Sonic said.

*Later at Tails and Turbo's Workshop*

Tails and Turbo are busy fixing one of their inventions when Knuckles shows up "Hey, fellow inventor!" Knuckles said "Knuckles, We're kinda busy right now" Turbo said "See that light switch over there? Sure is far away right?" Knuckles asks "Uh-huh" Tails and Turbo said "There's got to be a better way. Now, there is! With "Remote 2000"" Knuckles said and switches the light off and on with a stone attached to a long stick "Pretty sweet, huh?" Knuckles asks "It sure is... something" Tails said unconvinced "Eh, well. Now that I'm a bonafide inventor, I figured we could collaborate. You two can learn from me and, uh, who knows? I might even learn something from you two" Knuckles said "I doubt it. Inventing takes dedication, tenacity, stick-to-itiveness, perseverance, a good thesaurus, and..." Turbo said "What's that?" Knuckles asks "Oh, that's my Fly Swatter. It homes in on insects and..." Tails said "Neat. Can I invent that?" Knuckles asks "What? No, We already invented it. You're looking right at it" Turbo said "Gotcha. Can I invent this?" Knuckles asks pointing to a turkey sandwich "That's a turkey sandwich" Tails said "Interesting... I know! I could invent a device that cuts things - The "Scissors 2000". Ooh, or how about a machine to brown bread - the "Toaster 2000"?" Knuckles asks "You sure you don't have someplace else you have to be?" Turbo asks "Nope. It's just you and me, all day. It's a little thing I invented called "Friendship 2000"" Knuckles said and wraps his arms around Tails and Turbo and the two foxes groan.

*Later at Meh Burger*

"He tried to invent a turkey sandwich?" Amy asks laughing "That was one of his better ideas. How do We tell him he's not an inventor without hurting his feelings?" Tails asks "Don't worry. He'll get over this "inventor phase" before you know it" Brody said "Tails, Turbo, you gotta see this! Oh, sorry guys. Inventor stuff. You wouldn't understand" Knuckles said "You were saying" Turbo said "Check it out. Robot Battle Royale. It's an anything goes tournament for inventors to test their mettle with metal-on-metal action! You two in?" Knuckles asks "Uhhh, I don't know, Knuckles. Not sure that's the best use of our time" Tails said and Turbo nodded "Oh, I get it. You two are chicken!" Knuckles said "Ohhh!" Sonic, Brody, Amy, Ralph and Sticks said "Oh no, he didn't" Amy said "We're not chicken. Tails and I just don't have anything to prove" Turbo said "Oh, that's all right, Tails and Turbo. It's gotta be tough knowing there's a new hot shot inventor in town and, you two are just yestersay's news" Knuckles said "Ohhh!" Sonic, Brody, Ralph, Amy and Sticks said "Knuckles, We appreciate your enthusiasm, but We're really not interested" Tails said "Not intersted in losing... to me!" Knuckles said "Boom!" Sonic and Brody said "Shots fired!" Amy said "Dang, son!" Sticks said "That's it. Knuckles, you're not an inventor. You just add the number 2000 to the end of things that already exist. If you want to be embarrasing in front of everybody in this competition, then fine, We accept your challenge" Tails and Turbo said "Yeah!" Sonic, Brody, Ralph, Amy and Sticks said "Let me ask you guys a question. Are you tired of beating turkey and bread in separate bites?" Knuckles asks.

*Later at the Competition site, outside the tent*

Mayor Fink walks down the red carpet and analyzes the participants and their robots, looking at Child Monkey's robot first "Nice!" Mayor Fink said and continues walking until he spots Dave the Intern's robot "Impressive!" Mayor Fink said and continues walking until he spots Knuckles' robot, the Vacuu-Fan 2000 "They can't all be winners..." Mayor Fink said and continues walking until he spots Tails' robot, Hypnobot and Turbo's robot, Knightbot "Oh! That's quite the robots you got there, Tails and Turbo" Mayor Fink said "Thanks. Hypnobot's able to take control of any opposing robot within a hundred feet, Mr. Mayor" Tails said "And Knightbot's able to combat and use any weapons as a knight would, Mr. Mayor" Turbo said "Oh, please! Mr. Mayor's my father. You two can just call me Mayor" Mayor Fink said. Suddendly the ground starts to shake and Eggman and his robot approaches "A robot brawl! Finally, some culture in this town" Eggman said "Eggman!" Tails and Turbo said "Oh please. Eggman is my father. You can just call me Dr. Eggman" Eggman said "Time to get started! I'm going to need the override codes for both of your robots" Mayor Fink said and all the participants hand over their override codes to Mayor Fink. With all the codes collected, he locks them up in a safe. He puts a key inside a cannonball onto the cannon. He lights up the fuse and the cannon fires, shooting the cannonball far away into the sea "But what if you need the override codes?" Tails asks "Oh, that wasn't the key to the locked box" Mayor Fink said.

Later inside the tent, "Tonight, you'll see the finest, most technically advanced, modern marvel ever to grate our fair town" Mayor Fink said and the audience is unconvinced "And they're gonna smash each other to bits!" He said and the silence turns into wild cheering "Now, without any further ado, let's get ready to watch what's going to happen!" Mayor Fink said and Turbo and Dave the Intern's robots are being introduced first "Prepare to get fries with that" Dave said and the weapon on his robot starts firing pellets shaped as fries towards Knightbot. Knightbot dodges and its hand turns into a sword and slashes Dave's robot, in half and it breaks down. The crowd cheers "You go, Turbo!" Amy said "Yeah, Knightbot!" Sticks said "Yeeah! Nice Turbo!" Sonic and Brody said and Sonic picks up a chili dog "Can I get fries with that?" Sonic asks.

Stratford and Eggman are introduced next "Heh heh heh heh" Eggman said and Stratford's robot, considerably smaller than Eggman, fires pellets from its nostrils, the pellets do no damage to Eggman's robot, who answers back with a quick laser beam, incinerating the robot in the process "Ah hahaha" Eggman said and boos emerge from Sonic, Brody, Ralph, Amy, Sticks and the rest of the crowd. Comedy Chimp and Lady Goat turn up next. Comedy Chimp's robot plays a tune with the cymbals. Lady Goat's robot dances to it and barks in delight "Aww... It's so cute!" Amy said. Suddenly Lady Goat's robot charges into Comedy Chimp's robot and quickly eliminates it. Comedy Chimp groans, later on her robot loses to Tails' Hypnobot. The Final entrants are Child Monkey and Knuckles, the fans cheering on Knuckles who loads up Vacuu-Fan 2000 "Come on, Vacuu-Fan 2000. Show 'em what you're made of!" Knuckles said and Vacuu-Fan 2000 tries to ram its way towards Child Monkey's robot, but misses the target and crashes and breaks to pieces on the arena's wall "That's not what I meant!" Knuckles said.

The next round is Child Monkey's robot and Tails' Hypnobot. Hypnobot fires a laser, which causes the opposing robot to spin is head, perform a backflip and fall to the ground "This is it. The final battle" Mayor Fink said and the Final battle see Eggman's robot, Knightbot and Hypnobot compete. Hypnobot and Knightbot turn itselfs off. Tails and Turbo jump in the arena to fix their robots "Come on! No, No. Not now!" Tails and Turbo said trying to fix their robots "Ha ha ha! You built that robot to take control of other robots. But now your robots-controlling robot is being controlled" Eggman said and displays his override code to Tails and then Turbo's "How did you get the override codes?" Turbo asks and Eggman holds up the safe "Made by Eggman Industries" Eggman said and Eggman's robot approaches and taps Hypnobot and Knightbot, who fall to the ground. Eggman's robot celebrates, but the crowd boos in response "Well, that was underwhelming. But in the grand scheme of evil Eggman plan, I think we got out of this one pretty unscathed" Mayor Fink said and the crowd talk and agree with each other "Oh, by the way, Tails. Now that I've taken control of your robot-controlling robot, I'm going to your workshop to take control of all your other robots and Turbo I'll use your knight robot to protect Tails' Hypnobot!" Eggman said "Turbo and I don't really have robots" Tails said "We have inventions" Turbo said "I know that, but it sounds better my way" Eggman said and jumps onto his Eggmobile and escapes with his robots following him "We gotta go after him. Anyone seen the key to the Mayor-cycle?" Mayor Fink asks.

*Later outside Tails and Turbo's Workshop*

Tails and Turbo's Workshop is being taken over by Eggman's robots, including Hypnobot and Knightbot. Team Sonic hide behind some crates and observe what is going on "We gotta get that Hypnobot and Knightbot away from Eggman. Tails and Turbo... I-I don't know... invent something!" Sonic said "Don't worry, I'll help you. Inventors stick together. Ooh. Note to self: "Inventors' Glue 2000"" Knuckles said and Eggman's robot turns and discover the members of Team Sonic. Sonic, Brody, Ralph, Sticks and Amy emerge out to battle. The rest of the robots stare at them "Maybe we should make a..." Knuckles said "No" Tails said "...or try to build a..." Knuckles said "No! Please let me and Tails think. We're the inventors here!" Turbo said "Maybe you are. But at least I didn't program any override codes into my Vacuu-Fan 2000. And believe you me, I was tempted. Eh, but I didn't know how" Knuckles said "That's it! Knuckles, you're a genius!" Tails and Turbo said excited "Yes I are" Knuckles said and Turbo and Tails sigh "Don't you see?" Tails asks "I'm a genius, not a visionary" Knuckles said "Your invention doesn't have robot AI. It's too stupid to be affected by Hypnobot" Turbo said "Stupid? Or... murder?" Knuckles asks "Uh... go get your robot! We've work to do!" Tails said and the rest of Team Sonic fight against Eggman's robots. Amy hammers a Crab Bot, Sticks takes down a Bee Bot with her boomerang, Ralph destroys two Bee Bots and Sonic and Brody bounce onto Motobugs and destroy it "Not that I don't understand, but could you explain the plan one more time? Because I don't understand" Knuckles said "Since Vacuu-Fan 2000 can't be controlled remotely, it's the only robot that can get me close enough to regain control of Hypnobot" Tails said from inside Vacuu-Fan 2000 and Knuckles fires up Vacuu-Fan 2000 while Turbo distracts Knightbot "My baby's all grown up!" Knuckles said sheding a tear and the rest of Team Sonic resume battling against Eggman's robots. Vacuu-Fan 2000 emerges towards Hypnobot. Eggman notices it and is curious "What's that? Nurbles' robot is joining my army! Welcome, Welcome!" Eggman said "I got this!" Amy said and Knuckles notices Amy trying to take down the robot "Nooo!" Knuckles said and tackles Amy just before she hits the robot "It's er... it's my first robot!" Knuckles said "Aww, you sentimental son of a gun. I remember my first robot. His name was Zippie and... I don't have time for this. I'm finally defeating Sonic and Brody and nothing is gonna stop me!" Eggman said and with Vacuu-Fan 2000 close enough to Hypnobot, Tails opens the door on the robot and angrily walks towards his own creation "Hey, you can't do that! I already declared victory!" Eggman said and Tails loads up Hypnobot, who emits lasers towards five of Eggman's robots and Turbo manages to turn Knightbot off "Hypnobot, make 'em dance!" Tails said and the five robots, under the control of Tails, join together and dance to some disco music. The Motobugs and Crab Bots join in, circulating the group "I can't watch this anymore" Eggman said and runs to his Eggmobile and flees "Great job, Tails and Turbo! We couldn't have done it without you" Sonic and Brody said "Thanks, but We couldn't have done it without Knuckles. Good work, fellow inventor. So what are you going to invent next?" Tails and Turbo ask "Oh, I'm giving up inventing. It's time for a new hobby. Perhaps extreme couponing. Oh, or claw-dancing. Or maybe, inventing" Knuckles said and Lady Goat's Robot arrives, approaching Amy. Amy strokes it with glee "Look who came back. Ooh, puppy wuppy" Amy said "You know, Tails. With this Hypnobot of yours, Eggman's robots will never be a problem again" Brody said and suddenly, the puppy robot backflips its way on top of Hypnobot. This causes an explosion, and when as the dust settles, Hypnobot is gone "Bad puppy" Amy said glumly as this chapter comes to an end.
