Third Person's POV

We start in Meh Burger as Sonic and Brody are waiting in line at the cashier's counter "Man, I am starving! Next exit: Munchytown. Population: us" Sonic said wrapping his arms around Brody making him chuckle and just as Brody walks up to the cashier, Dr. Eggman cuts right in front of him immediately "Hey, no cutsies! I was here first!" Eggman said "No way, Egghead! We've been waiting!" Sonic said "Um, I believe the barrel-chested gentleman with the luxuriant mustache was first" Dave the intern said "What? Are you serious?!" Sonic asks "Sonic, calm down" Brody said "That's how we do it! Score one for Eggman" Eggman said and starts dancing as techno music plays. Sonic and Brody watch, unimpressed "Just gotta flash the 'stache" Eggman said.

Later, Eggman is eating a burger. There are fries and a drink on his table "Mmm, now that's good! How's yours over there? Oh, right. Yours isn't ready yet. Should have been faster, Sonic and Brody!" Eggman said and laughs evilly and Dave carries a tray to Sonic and Brody's table "Okay, here we are. Two double Meh Burgers with extra pickles" Dave said "We said no pickles" Sonic said and Eggman laughs "Oh, this is just the best day ever!" Eggman said and is eating burger and then interrupted by Dave  who clears his throat "I'm Dave, big fan of yours, sir. I've study all of your attacks, the Bee Bot gambit, the lair gambit, the gambit gambit" Dave said "Aw yes, that one was doubly risky. I like the cut of your jib. How'd you like to be my unpaid intern?" Eggman asks "It'd be an honour to work for you without pay" Dave said "Did I mention I like you jib-cut-wise?" Eggman asks.

*Later at Eggman's Lair*

"Wow! I'm really here! Where do I start?" Dave asks "Even though you're only an intern, there's an important job that I can't trust Orbot and Cubot to do" Eggman said and bring the mop to Dave "Mop the bathroom" Eggman said "Mop the bathroom!? Wow! Back at Meh Burger I'd have to be a manager to do that" Dave said and runs off "You two could learn a thing or two from this kid" Eggman said and Dave is throwing out the trash, Orbot and Cubot are spying on Dave "This new intern worries my circuit, I fear that his enthusiasm for the most menial tasks causes us to appear inferior by comparison" Orbot said "Yeah, he's making us look bad too. He does more sucking up than my cousin, Suzanne, and she's a vacuum" Cubot said and Dave is secretly listening to Orbot and Cubot's complaints.

Later. "Cubot! Cubot! Cubot, where have you gone?" Orbot asks and goes through a door to that leads to a dark, empty room "Cubot are you there?" Orbot asks and turns on his built-in flashlights and oil drips on him "My word..." Orbot said as he sees a trapdoor, oil dripping on the outside with a rope attached. Orbot pulls on the rope and the trapdoor opens as pieces fall out. Orbot screams and sees Cubot in pieces and Orbot screams again.

"I could build a robot to do this but there's just something about unpaid labor that makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside" Eggman said and Dave comes upon Eggman's old Doomsday Device "What's this?" Dave asks "Oh, just my old Doomsday Device" Eggman said "It's magnificent! I bet it could destroy a hundred worlds!" Dave said "Well, maybe not a hundred, but if I connected that power supply... a one definitely" Eggman said and Orbot comes in carrying Cubot's pieces "Dr. Eggman, sir, it's Cubot, he's been disassembled!" Orbot said "I don't have time for you two, can't you see I'm enjoying quality time with my protege? So, where were we? Ah yes, you were praising me. You were leaving" Eggman said and Orbot gets sad and leaves.

*Later at Turbo and Tails' Workshop*

"Here it is, the Reverse Polarizer, it takes any force and reverses it" Tails said and flushes the toilet, uses the Reverse Polarizer. The water comes back up, falling back down and into the toilet "Guess we won't be needing this anymore" Sonic said throwing the plunger behind his back and a knock is heard as Turbo opened it and sees Orbot, the plunger stuck to his head. Sonic, Brody and Tails rush to the door "Hello. Odd request. Could I trouble you to reassemble my dismantled cohort?" Orbot asks and gestures to Cubot, who is on the floor dismantled.

*Meanwhile at Eggman's Lair*

Dave is vacuuming the lair, Eggman walks in "Great Job, next thing I need you to do is clean up the robo-litter box" Eggman said pointing at three Fly Bots flying above a litter box full of bolts "Uh, actually Dr. Eggman" Dave said and clears his throat "Now, that you consider me your protege. I was kind of hoping to get a little more evil experience like, concut a scheme together maybe I could pitch some ideas?" Dave asks "Listen Dave, your a terrible kid and thats great, but you have to start at the bottom of the evil ladder and work your way up" Eggman said "But I've spent a year and a half in the fast-food industry" Dave said dissapointed "Let's give it a few more weeks, eh?" Eggman asks "A few more weeks?" Dave asks outraged "A few more weeks?! I can't sit around indefinitely! What do you think I am?! A Meh Burger?!" Dave said and runs off, Eggman right behind him. Dave goes into Eggman's Lab and closes the door "You come out this instant!" Eggman said "No! I'll show you! I'm gonna be an evil genius, no matter what you say!" Dave said as hammer and a drill noise can be heard "David, what is going on in there?" Eggman asks "Nothing!" Dave lies "You stop that right now, young man. That is my Doomsday Device" Eggman said "Then maybe you shouldn't have locked the power supply in here then, and maybe I shouldn't put the power supply in my pants!" Dave said "You're not wearing any pants!" Eggman said "Then what are these pockets?" Dave asks as drilling sounds can be heard, along with screech from a cat, a scream, a cow, and electric shocks "That better not be what I think it is" Eggman said "Depends on whether you think it's a Doomsday Device that I just activated!" Dave said "Actually, I thought it was my panini press. But this is worse!" Eggman said and walks away.

*Back at Turbo and Tails' workshop*

Tails and Turbo finish fixing Cubot and they turn Cubot on "Watch what you're grabbing there, bozo" Cubot said "Huzzah! He's fixed! Cubot, tell us what happened to you" Orbot said "It's Dave! He dismantled me! And I liked being mantled" Cubot said.

*Back at Eggman's Lair*

"Activate my Doomsday Device, huh? Well, I'll show you!" Eggman said and takes out a sandwich from his panini press and takes a bite of it before looking at his Doomsday Device and turning it on.

*At the same time in Turbo and Tails' workshop*

Tails' laptop beeps repeatedly and Tails and Turbo walk to the laptop and Tails opens it. There is a map of Eggman's Lair with two red dots on the screen "Whoa, I'm reading two weird energy signatures from Eggman's Lair" Tails said "What are they?" Brody asks "Judging from how powerful and unstable they are, I'd say they could only be some kind of Doomsday Device. Two of them" Turbo said.

*At Eggman's Lair*

"I'll have you know that I just activated my Doomsday Device and its gonna destroy the world even bigger than that one!" Eggman yelled as Sonic and Brody go through the wall into Eggman's lair "Game over, Eggman! Shut off the Doomsday Devices!" Sonic and Brody said and Eggman laughs nervously "Shut off? Who put an off switch on the Doomsday device?" Eggman asks "Hmm..." Sonic said and scratches his head "You make a valid point" Sonic said and Brody rolls his eyes and presses a button on his Communicator and speaks on it "Bad news Turbo and Tails. There's no off switch" Brody said.

*At the sky*

"Well, yeah. Who puts an off switch on the Doomsday Device?" Tails asks and Turbo facepalms "So what now?" Brody asks "This is a long shot, but it's our only chance. If we increase the energy output of both devices, and get them vibrating at opposite frequencies, then there's a small chance they'll cancel each other out" Turbo said "Yeah just for a second pretend I'm not a science guy" Sonic said "Get Eggman to increase his device's power. Turbo and I'll do the same with Dave" Tails said and flies his plane to a window on the side of Eggman's Lair and Dave opens the window "I'm sorry we're closed. Oh wait. This isn't the drive-through" Dave said "What do you two want?!" He asks angrily and Turbo jumps out and walks onto the plane's wing and stands on the window's ledge "We're here to help" Turbo said "I don't need your help!" Dave said angrily "I guess not. If you're OK with Eggman destroying the world bigger than you" Turbo said "No way! Drive up to the next window and come in" Dave said and runs off.

*At Eggman's Lair*

A timer is counting down. Eggman is watching while wearing a party hat and holding a party blower in his mouth "Eggman!" Sonic and Brody said and Eggman gets a fright and blows his party blower. Sonic and Brody run in with Orbot and Cubot "Dave supercharged this machine with thousand volt batteries!" Brody said worried and Eggman drops his party blower "High voltage batteries, huh?" Eggman said clenching his fist "I'll show him!" Eggman said and takes his party hat off and presses a button which opens a door.

Tails, Turbo and Dave working on their device. Dave is seen screwing something in. Later, Sonic and Brody are pedalling, powering up an electrical fan to keep Eggman cool. After that Tails and Turbo are connecting an electrical clip to the device. They give a thumbs up to Dave, who tries out two clips. He connects then to the tail of a lizard. Tails and Turbo facepalm. The objects generate electricity. Dave punches the air. Meanwhile, Sonic and Brody are running across a rubber mat but stops, turns around and puts their hands on a generator that sticks their hair up "Ooh look at the time. Anyone else hungry?" Eggman asks "No. Don't stop working. Brody and I'll make you lunch" Sonic said and the two dash off and brings a sandwich to Eggman "What is this? Haven't you ever made a peanut butter and jelly sandwich before? You've got to put the peanut butter on both pieces of bread. Otherwise the jelly makes it soggy" Eggman said "Right. Sure. Of course" Brody said and the two dash off again and brings another sandwich "And you'll remember to cut it into triangles, right?" Eggman asks "One sec" Sonic and Brody said as they dash off again and brings the same sandwich cut into two triangles "The crusts? Do I even have to say it?" Eggman asks and Sonic and Brody groan.

Meanwhile, Dave, Turbo and Tails are standing with the Doomsday Device working "Alright. Dave's device is good to go. How's everything over there?" Turbo asks using his earpiece.

"Uh... It's coming along..." Sonic and Brody said annoyed while Eggman eats his sandwich "Oh... yeah. That's the stuff" Eggman said and sucks his fingers and jumps off his seat. He walks to his Doomsday device and notices the battery is running low. He punches his fist down on it. Suddenly, the battery raises to full charge, and the device spins slowly.

"Hope this works" Tails said and the timer on his device counts to zero. On a double screen a beeping sound is heard. The two devices spin rapidly and release an orb that rises up to the sky and breaks a hole through the ceilings. The orbs emit waves that erase a kite and three Fly Bots. Eggman, Brody and Sonic look up through the holes to the sky and notice the two waves converge into one before disappearing into an aura "What the what?" Dave asks "Hey. Sweet! We did it!" Tails and Turbo said when the aura turns into a black hole "WHAT THE WHAT?!" Sonic and Brody ask "Ah... That's more like it" Eggman said as a noise from the black hole is heard. Sonic, Brody, Turbo and Tails immediately run outside the lair and look up to the black hole in the sky. They are getting blown towards it "There must've been some small power discrepancy" Tails said and Brody looks at Sonic who was holding a battery and Sonic chucks it away "Let's not point fingers. The important thing how are we going to reverse it" Sonic said "That's it! Our Reverse Polarizer!" Tails and Turbo said and they pick up the Reverse Polarizer and Tails presses a button "If you can get close enough, you can reverse the gravitational pull and force it to close in on itself" Turbo said "But..." Brody said "But if you're too slow... You'll be pulled into the black hole forever and all existence will be erased" Tails said "Too slow? Ha!" Sonic said and snatches the Reverse Polarizer "You forgot who you're talking to" Brody said as he and Sonic run up to the top of the lair and look up to the Black Hole. They jump on the debris getting sucked up by the hole and get lured in. They activate the switch in the Reverse Polarizer but suddenly it slips out of their hands. A couple of debris hits their faces while they fall. The device reacts to the black hole and explodes emitting a bright light, making Tails and Turbo flinch. Turbo recovers and helps Tails up but suddenly they see Sonic and Brody falling through the lair's platform. They look down at Sonic and Brody, who are seen with their eyes shut. They wiggle their faces and open their eyes "You think a plunger would've worked just as well?" Tails asks sarcastically to Sonic and he blinks and shows a tired look.

*Later at Eggman's Lair*

Eggman is seen pulling Dave's ear "You little twerp" Eggman said and Dave holds his ear "Your interning days are through" Eggman said "You're fired!" He said "Well you are going to give me a positive evaluation, right?" Dave asks sarcastically "GET OUUUUT!" Eggman said and Dave runs out of the lair in fear. Eggman turns to Orbot and Cubot "And you two!" Eggman said and Orbot and Cubot stand up "I have an assignment for you" Eggman said "We're" Cubot said as he and Orbot high five "back baby!" Cubot said and Eggman holds a mop and bucket "Mop the bathroom" Eggman said and Orbot and Cubot drop themselves.

*Later at Meh Burger*

"They'll pay for this... they're all gonna pay! Wuhahahahaha!" Dave said and looks at a Lady Goat "Do you want fries with that?" Dave asks as this chapter comes to an end.
