As I have stated before, I am a republican.

The internet is a wasteland filled with ignorance and hypocrisy towards the right wing.

I have lost seven followers since stating I was a republican just yesterday.

And it makes me laugh. Do I strike you (whoever feels the need to disregard me for my political views) as someone who needs your ignorant acquaintance? Do I seem like someone who regards ignorant thoughts of me?

Republicans hating all democrats is pure ignorance. The democratic party would agree, as would I.

But it's also ignorant vice versa!

I have PLENTY of democratic friend. I have homosexual friends, friends of other races, liberal friends, etc.

So am I bigoted?

No.

But I support most republican policies. Therefore I label myself as a republican.

If you are of opposing political views, I am perfectly fine with that! But if you are unfine with mine, that is ignorant.

I don't hate democratic people.

Why should I be hated for being republican?

And you may think I am against homosexual marriage, but I am not. In fact, most republicans don't care about the matter. Only most the politicians do.

Donald J. Trump himself has stated he will leave LGBTQ rights alone, and this is a guy who constantly makes nasty remarks. He is impolite and obnoxious.

And there's me, I am polite, calm, and easily accepting of your political views. So what makes you think I am bigoted?

And there are alot of democratic people who are easily accepting of republicans, I am also aware of that. But, much like republicans, they are a silent majority on the internet.

And there are republican extremists who hate democratic people, I won't deny that, but they are actually a small majority.

It's not a matter of how many there are, it is a matter of how many voice themselves.

I am just tired of being generalized as the way republicans are conceived as on the internet. Of course that will not happen, but it feels good to know I have the audacity to be loud and proud.

Be proud of yourself.

Not ignorant towards others.

There is a fine line between the two.
