Third person POV

You opened your eyes and grunted. What had happened? The last thing you knew was the sudden appearance of that bear and then an unbearable pain in your left arm. And then... Nothing.

"(N/n)!" you heard someone call out.

You moved your eyes to where the voice came from. A man, about your age looked at you.

"I was so worried..." he mumbeled. "Thank goodness you're alive"

You tried to speak, but your voice didn't work well. It just cracked a bit. It kind of remembered you of the broken radio you once had. It only cracked and then fell out again.

You tried again. "So... nic..." you managed to say.

"Shh..." he said. "It's okay, I'm here for you"

Some guy with hair that reminded you of a mushroom, came into your vision. "Are you okay?" he asked.

You nodded.

"Can you move your left arm?"

You tried to move it. It felt... Heavier than before. Much heavier.

You decided to look at it, to find out why, but seeing it made you gasp. What had happened? It was made of metal, but you could move it , like it was your normal arm.

"What... happened..." you said, your speech slowly recovering.

"A bear pulled your arm off" Sonic said, taking your right hand and interwining your fingers with his. "I'm sorry I couldn't be there for you... I shouldn't have left you alone... I... I..." a tear rolled down his cheek as his voice started trembling.

"Shh" you said. "It's okay. Besides, this is kind of cool, right? Can I shoot fire as well? Like Genos?" you asked the mushroom guy.

"If everything went according to plan, you should be able to do that" he said.

"Awesome!" you turned at Sonic again. "See? It's not so bad. I can shoot fire! I mean, isn't that the coolest thing that you can imagine?"

Sonic chuckled. "Yeah, I guess you're right"

"Also; how long was I out? I mean, if it is possible, I'd like to take that hero test"

"You were out for four days..." Sonic said.

"What the heck? How is it even possible to sleep that long?"

"You weren't asleep. You were unconscious"

"That's about the same"

Sonic laughed a bit at your silliness. "No, it isn't"

You then sighed. "Can I get up anytime soon?"

"You can try it. But there might be a chance you'll fall down again" the mushroom guy said.

"I'll take that risk" you said, standing up.

A wave of dizziness flowed over you instantly, almost sending you to the ground, but Sonic caught you.

"Careful" he said, holding you in his arms, his face only a few centimeters away from your face. "You wouldn't want that pretty face to get hurt, would you?" he added, smirking.

Your face turned a dark shade of red. Despite him saying that he loved you, you still felt a little nervous when he was close.

Suddenly, he kissed you on your lips. Your eyes widedned as your brain tried to process what was happening.

"(Y/n)! We heard you woke up and deci... ded..." Saitama said, but his voice faded away as he saw the two of you and he dropped the box of chocolates and the flowers he was holding.

You broke the kiss, looking at your brother. "Sai... I..."

He didn't even give you time to react, but instead pulled Sonic away from you by his hair, causing you to fall back on the bed. "And what the heck do you think you're doing?!" he yelled. "Why are you kissing my sister?! I already told you to not do that!"

"Saitama, stop acting like a damn baby!" you yelled, standing  up again. "You can't decide what I can do, for the millionth time! I can take care of myself! If I want to kiss my boyfriend, then I kiss him! I don't care what you think about him! I love him!"

Saitama's mouth opened and closed a few times, but he remained silent as he let go of Sonic's hair. He knew that if you became really mad, you became very, very scary.

"I... I'm sorry..." he mumbeled.

You grunted. "You know, it's been enough! I'm sick of you trying to keep me away from Sonic! Get! Lost!" you yelled the last word and pointed at the door.

"(Y/n)-san, he's just trying to protect you" Genos said. "You shouldn't be so hard on him"

You sighed. "I know, but it's annoying" you turned at your brother. "Okay, I'll give you one more chance, don't ruin it"

He smiled a bit. "Thanks, sis"

You ignored what he just said and turned at the mushroom guy. "Can I shoot fire now?" you asked, almost forgotting the tantrum you just had.

"I think you should be able to, but you'll have to be careful that you don't burn the rest of your body. Genos, why won't you teach her the basics" he said, turning at the cyborg.

"Okay" he said. "Follow me"

You took Sonic's left arm with your right and pulled him along, while trying smaller movements with your new arm. It worked surprisingly well. The mushroom guy had done a good job.

Not long after, you were in a giant, white room, with some dummies on the end of it.

"Okay, I usually do it like this..." Genos said.
