"Wake up!" (Y/N) could hear a familiar voice shouting at her. "Come on, please, please, I can't lose you too!" Was it Sonic?

"I could set her on fire, that would probably wake her up," Genos' calm voice came, even though what he was saying was insane. There was a hint of smoke in the air as he spoke.

"What? No, you idiot! That would kill her!" the first voice replied angrily.

"Right..." The smoke disappeared.

"Saitama, why don't you go get your boyfriend away from this place, the stress is clearly killing him." It was Sonic again. "Seriously, dude, get your shit together.

"Wh-what?" Genos stuttered. "I am not- He's not- I mean... Ugh! Why am I even around you people?" he grunted in annoyance, and walked off, a second trail of footsteps following him, which was presumably Saitama.

"Darling, I can see that you're awake. Please open your eyes, okay?" Sonic said in a gentle voice.

(Y/N)'s eyes fluttered open, but she regretted the descision instantly, as it was way too bright in the room at the moment. "Ow. My head hurts," she said, closing her eyes again and trying to sit up, but she was gently pushed down by Sonic's hand, making her realize that she had been laying on his lap all this time.

"Please, you got hit in the head just a few minutes ago, stay down. The ambulance is coming soon." She wasn't used to seeing her boyfriend like this, so quiet, slow almost.

"Wait, where's Sally? Did you defeat the monster? Is everyone okay?" she fired the rapid storm of questions at Sonic, who couldn't help but smile a tiny smile.

"We did defeat the monster and we are okay, but Sally... She was taken by Rachel."

"What will she do to her?"

Sonic remained silent, but she assumed that he shrugged in response.

"The people from the hospital are coming soon, why don't you get some rest?" he eventually said.

As soon as he made the suggestion, she realised that she was incredibly sleepy, and she felt sleep take her over. And then she lost consciousness. For the nth time these days.

She was woken up by the sound of a soft beeping that came from the hospital monitor, and the sound of whispering next to her.

"She's awake," came a calm voice from next to her. Genos? He sounded emotionless, like a robot, almost. What was happening to him? He was acting out quite a bit, even (Y/N), who had only known him for a few days, knew that something was wrong.

She felt a hand grab her robot hand in an almost inhuman speed. She assumed that that was Sonic.

"Are you okay?" the voice softly asked. Yep, it was Sonic.

She opened her eyes to look at her boyfriend, who was sitting there with a worried expression on his face. Then, she looked to the right, where Genos was sitting quietly, scribbling things down in his notebook. He kept on glancing over at Saitama, as of he were drawing him. Saitama himself was sitting in a corner, reading some manga that he had bought in the shop of the hospital. He looked up, looked down at his manga again, looked up again and then down at his manga. This process repeated for a few times, until his exhausted brain finally registered that his sister was awake, and he put down his manga, quickly rushing to her other side.

"How are you?" he asked, grabbing her other hand and shooting a quick glare at Sonic because he still didn't like the fact that he was so close to his little sister.

"I feel better..." she said in a hoarse voice. "Thank you..."

"I will punch that jerk for hurting my little sister like that," Saitama spat angrily.

(Y/N) saw Genos shot a quick look at her brother, frowning, then he continued to scetch with an indifferent expression. "Glad you're okay," he said simply, not even bothering to look up again.

"You're kind of acting like a complete ass, you know?" Sonic said to Genos, crossing his arms over his chest.

"So? You always act like a complete ass and no one ever hates you for it," Genos replied sarcastically, still not bothering to look up at him.

Sonic marched over to him and snatched the notebook from his hands. "What are you wri- Whoa. Holy shit." He stood there in complete surprise, eyes widened.

"What? What is it?" inquired (Y/N). "What does it say?"

"Well-" he was interrupted by Genos, who snatched it from his hands. "If you speak a word of this to anyone, I will torture you," he growled in a dangerous tone of voice. "I will make sure you suffer so much that you wish you were dead, but I won't let you, until you're completely broken. And then I will make sure that your death will be as long and painful as possible." Something in his voice made it obvious that he wasn't joking, that he would do that if Sonic would ever reveal what was in it.

"S-sorry," the ninja stuttered, completely flabbergasted by the murderous intent in Genos' voice and eyes.

The cyborg glared at him one last time, then walked out of the room, the notebook clutched tightly in his hands. He was probably going to burn it as soon as he left the room. A quick flash of red outside confirmed just that.

"What's wrong with that guy layely?" Saitama said, scratching the back of his head. "He's been acting out ever since you two got together... Oh." Even Saitama, who could be a complete oaf at times realised that Genos had probably gotten a crush on (Y/N). It did fit, though. He always wanted to spend time around her, he seemed agitated when he saw her together with Sonic, and he had already marched out of the room twice when they were together.

"Well, this is great," replied (Y/N), who had realised the same thing. "Like I need more drama in my life."

"You don't like him, do you?" Sonic said, taking her hand in both of his.

"No, I don't. I love you, and no one else," she said to him, smiling. "Don't worry, he's just a friend. By the way, shouldn't someone go after him?"

Saitama sighed. "I'll go. Don't do too much things together, the hospital isn't a great fan of it," he said dryly, picking his manga off the ground and lazily walking out of the room.
