"Why do I have stay?" the white hedgehog glared at the group in front of him as the dark choa stayed in his comfortable spot atop the other's head and continued eating the dark stones that had been given by it''s owner

"Sonic your In your friends body that is injured, we don't need you dying because your being stubborn, besides the fox is staying to, as well as Streaks" Scourge rolled his eyes as he watched his brother

"Still! I'll be completely useless here" He muttered

"You won't be useless here" Zonic rolled his eyes "Because you'll be safe and you can take care of your pet, and train him since he keeps getting into everything when your not here" he glared at the choa who gave him a cheeky smile

'But I like him the way he is' Sonic protested

"Too bad" Scourge glared "Last week he ate my earrings!" Sonic couldn't help but snicker at that, making Scourge glare, Zonic only sighed as Shadow watched in annoyance, while Silver sat awkwardly between Blaze and Rouge, while Knuckles and Tails sat by Sonic, yet the dark choa just hissed at Scourge

"Your staying here and that's final unless you want me to get Mum and Dad instead" Zonic stated, Sonic fell silent and just nodded, knowing it was this or that

"Fine" Sonic muttered

"Good" Zonic stated as he stood "Shadow your coming with me" 

"And why's that?" The blue hedgehog glared

"Well everyone else would get on your nerves and I have no interest in conversation" Zonic answered "Besides someone would need to be there that knows how to deal with things if you do end up snapping" Shadow just scowled 

"and what the rest of us are together?" Knuckles rose a brow

"Nah I'm taking Stripes" Scourge answered 'So you three are together, since the kids are staying here" Sonic shot his brother a glare

'i'm not a kid" Sonic growled

'Whatever you say fluff-ball" Scourge smirked as the whit hedgehogs cheeks went red at what his brother had called him

"You'll regret that later Mold" Sonic growled as Scourge's eyes widened at what he'd been called while Streaks appeared laughing his head off

'Oh my god I love that!" Streaks grinned, Scourge just groaned in annoyance at that and stood and went over to Silver and began dragging him away, wile he had a pleading expression

"Scourge don't get him killed" Zonic yelled after them annoyed, before sighing and waited for Shadow to follow him as he watched Knuckles say his good byes to Tails and his brother before leaving with the cat and bat, soon enough Shadow grumbled as he followed Zonic leaving Sonic, Tails Scar and Streaks alone

The green hedgehog and the multi coloured hedgehog followed the trail of chaos energy, they'd gotten lucky with the first emerald,it'd been close by as they left the temple, yet the second one was a different story, G.U.N had taken it into their custody when they had found it and it now stood in the vault 

"Hmm" Scourge hummed in thought as he watched the building in front of them, guarded by human soldiers, "We need t get in and find where their keeping the emerald" 

'Yeah... but how?" Silver frowned  

"Well for starters your staying out of sight, i'll go in and get it then come back, then we go back across the border" Scourge said simply

"that's a terrible plan" Silver stated

"you got a better one?" Scourge rose a brow and received no answer "thats what I thought" as he then stood and ran off into the building, alarms went off and gun shots were heard, yet within half an hour Scourge returned with not one, but two emeralds in hand "Lets go" Scourge sent a small grin, even though he was covered in blood, yet Silver had a feeling it wasn't his own

There was a flash and the two were back at the temple, Silver's head spun from the chaos control, it had felt different in Shadow's body, it sent a surge of chaos through him and it made him shiver, they seemed to be the first ones back

"Get this fucking thing off me!" Streaks was heard yelling

"Don't call him a thing!" Sonic yelled back

"What has he done now" Scourge muttered as he went inside with Silver

A few hours later Knuckles Blaze and Rouge had returned, with two chaos emeralds, one had been in Tails' work shop and the other Rouge had stashed, now they were waiting for Shadow and Zonicto return with the last two emeralds

"Your should clean up" Sonic commented as he glanced at Scourge, who only rose a brow 

"Why?" Scourge rolled his eyes

"Maybe because when Zonic get's back he'll throw up" Sonic glared, Scourge seemed to pause

"Shit" Scourge muttered as he stood and went to the bathroom that was somewhere in the temple that the three of them lived in, Sonic only rolled his eyes

"What do you mean that?" Silver asked

"When Zonic sees, smells or tastes blood he throws up, he just can't stand it once he fainted because of Scourge" Sonic explained

"So he's afrain of blood?" Knuckles scoffed

"Actually he's terrified of snakes" Sonic hummed as he sat on the lounge, being told not to move from the spot

"And why are you telling us this...?" Rouge questioned

"Cause why not?" Sonic rose a brow

"probably because that's private" Zonic muttered as he entered with Shadow following behind

"So? You obviously told them about my forms, just some petty revenge as you call it" Sonic shrugged, but winced as pain shot through him

"It was necessary to inform them, unlike it was to inform them of my...fear..." Zonic sighed as he put the emerald he had retrieved with the other five that had already been there

"Where's the last one?" knuckles asked

"Couldn't find it and we thought one of you might have found it" Zonic answered

"Ah great, we still need to find the last one" Sonic groaned in annoyance

'Where is Scourge?" Zonic asked

"Shower" was the answer he received Zonic nodded, but then that's when they heard the explosion from outside
