It was a peaceful day in San Francisc-

*Boom!*

Or not. A blue blur was being chased by a jet at the same speed as the blur was running through what seemed to be frozen traffic. While Dr.Robotnik was chasing  after him. The blue blur was none other than Sonic the hedgehog. And you might b-

'Ahem!'

Y'know what? Nevermind, I'll just allow Sonic to tell you what happened.

"Thanks, Killer. So, I know what you're thinking. 'Why is that incredibly handsome hedgehog being chased by a mad man with a mustache from the civil war?' Well to be honest, It feels like I've been running my whole life. Is this too much? Am I going too fast? It's kinda what I do. Y'know what? Let's back up."

~~~~~~*Years Ago*~~~~~~

A beautiful island with perfect green grass, tall trees, many hills, surrounded by the clean blue ocean. You can also see a little blue hedgehog  running along the island while smiling and laughing.

"This is the island where I'm from. It had everything. Sandy beaches, cascading waterfalls, public access to loopty loops. And I never had to catch a school bus because I could run across the entire island in less than 2 seconds. Also, there was no school."

"I know, pretty sweet island right?"

Little Sonic kept having fun running around the island, jumping off the walls, and sliding around.

"I was born with extraordinary powers and was told to keep them secret. And like any kid, I did the exact opposite."

Sonic ran until he made it to a tree house. He ran into the house and bumped into an owl, startling her. Sonic landed on the floor onto his back laughing at her reaction.

"That's Longclaw. She took care of me. She was basically Obi-Wan Kenobi. If Obi-Wan Kenobi had a beak and ate mice."

Longclaw gave Sonic a stern look. "Sonic, someone could've seen you." She said with a bit of concern. "No-one saw me. I'm too fast and I wanted to bring this." He said as he pulled out a flower with pointy yellow petals.

Longclaw was about to take the flower with a smile, but noticed someone out the door Sonic came in through. Many of the people were pointin their arrows towards Sonic.

"GET DOWN!" Longclaw screamed out before tackling Sonic to the ground and closing the door with her foot before they got hit by the arrows.

"Turns out with great power comes great power hungry bad guys. And I led them right to us."

Longclaw's home was completely surrounded. Two of the attackers blocked two windows, but Longclaw hed no other choice. Before the last window was blocked off, Longclaw jumped out of it, while holding sonic in her claws.

The attackers started shooting at her with their bows and arrows, but she managed to dodge most of the arrows. While she tride to escape, one of the arrows hit her under her wing cause her to crash land with Sonic in her arms.

She rapidly stood up and looked at Sonic with a worried look. "Listen carefully, Sonic. You have a power unlike anything I've ever seen. And that means someone will always want it. The only way to stay safe is to stay hidden." She informed Sonic.

She took out a small golden ring from a small satchel. She tossed the ring only to reveal a portal to another world.

"This world is on the far side of the universe. You should be safe there." She informed. "I don't wanna go without you!" Sonic pleaded. "You must." She insisted handing him the satchel. "These rings will be your most important possession".

They heard screams and saw their attackers heading towards them. "If you're ever discovered, use one. Never. Stop. Running. Now go!" She instructed. Sonic did as he was told  and ran through the portal.

He turned around only to notice Longclaw is getting ready to fight and the attackers getting closer. "Longclaw!" Sonic called out as he turned around and ran back towards the closing portal. Longclaw turned around and looked at Sonic one last time.

"Goodbye, Sonic." She said before the portal closed. "No!" Sonic screams out as he tried to reach the portal. "No!" But  before he could enter the portal, it disappeared. He was too late. Longclaw was the only family he had, and now...

He's all alone.

Wow. Chapter One done. I've just been dying for the movie to come out and once it came out I had a burst of inspiration. So I hope you all enjoyed. I'll see you all in the next one and as always stay cool and stay awesome.
