Will smiles as he walks into the choir room.

"All right, guys, listen up. I have an announcement to make." He says.

"Adele is dead." Brittany states.

"No. I have been asked to join a blue ribbon panel to rewrite the arts curriculum nationwide." Will says.

"Wow! Congratulations." Charlie says.

Will smiles. "Thank you. I'll be taking a short sabbatical, which means I'm leaving McKinley at the end of the week."

"What? This is crazy." Violet remarks.

"But Glee Club is your life." Artie reminds their teacher.

"Which is why this is only temporary. I'll be back right after sectionals." Will informs.

"Wait... after sectionals?! Whoa!" Marley exclaims.

"Guys, guys, calm down. Look, I knew I needed to find a replacement, which is why I brought in Finn Hudson." Will says.

Violet cheers, hearing that her future brother-in-law will be Will's replacement.

"Mr. Shue, Finn cannot take over Glee Club. He doesn't know what he's doing at all. Sorry, Finn." Tina says.

"Guys, I know I can do this. And I've got some really great ideas for sectionals." Finn says.

"We'll all be dead by then!" Tina bites back.

"Tina." Violet growls.

"Finn doesn't know how to direct a musical!" Tina tells her teammates.

"Finn Hudson, Schuester. Figgins' office, right now." Sue says as she walks into the choir room.

Violet glares at Tina.

"So much for team spirit, Tina."

"We are not going to see it." Rachel states as she and Kurt are rehearsing in a NYADA dance studio.

Cassandra July walks in. "Not gonna see what? What are you doing in my studio, Schwimmer? Practicing for your big audition?"

"Yeah, this is actually my roommate Kurt. He's helping me with it." Rachel says.

"It's an honor to meet you, Ms. July, and... Ooh, y-you've got some abs!" Kurt says.

"That's sweet. So, you were saying. Not gonna see what?" Cassandra repeats herself.

"Her recently broken-up-with ex-boyfriend is directing my fiancée  in a school production of Grease, and we've got a bunch of friends in it, so we were debating whether or not we should go." Kurt explains.

"When is it?" Cassandra asks.

"This weekend." Kurt answers.

"Oh. You need to go. It's a perfect opportunity for closure." Cassandra tells Rachel.

Rachel stands up a bit straighter. "I have closure."

Cassandra nods. "Okay. Then go have fun, Schwim. Or go because it's Grease. Go because it's your friends, it's your high school."

"Rachel, I'm going. I need to see her. I haven't seen her since you and Finn broke up. I miss her like crazy, and I don't want to go alone." Kurt practically begs.

Rachel sighs. "Look, even if I wanted to go, which I don't, we don't have the money. Kurt's an intern and I spent all of my money on my last trip home, so..."

"Well... I could give you my JetBlue frequent flyer miles. I can't use them, ever since I was banned from my... Bloody Mary-fueled panic attack at 30,000 feet, which resulted in the hospitalization of three flight attendants. And don't go if you don't want to. But I just think you'll regret missing it." Cassandra says.

Kurt looks at Rachel. "We should go see it. For our friends. And for Violet. She's been working her butt off day in and day out for this. It'd be a shame not to see all her hard work pay off."

Violet taps Unique on the shoulder, who smiles when she sees Violet.

"Girl let me just say that your outfit is totally 2012 Pink Ladies-chic!" Unique compliments.

Violet smiles. "Thank you. I was wondering if you wanted to practice 'There Are Worse Things I Could Do' with me in the choir room? We haven't really gotten to sing together since you joined New Directions, and I would love to hear your take on this classic song."

Unique smiles. "Darling, you've come to the right person! Unique will sing with you, and we will be fabulous."

The two walk down the hallway together when they're stopped by Sue.

"Adams. You're needed in Figgins' office. Now."

= = =

"You can't be serious!" Violet says when Finn tells her what went down.

Unique has been pulled from the show, and has to be Wade at school.

"I don't like it any more than you do. But I can't go against Wade's parents." Finn says sadly.

Wade walks in and Violet looks so downcast. "I'm so sorry Wade. I know you wanted this so badly." Violet says.

Wade shakes his head. "Don't be. You're going to be an amazing Rizzo. I'll be watching from the audience, and you'll bet your sweet ass I will be cheering for you when you have your big solo. Violet... you were born to play Rizzo. So you're gonna be a star."

Violet sighs sadly. "This is ridiculous. I can't believe Sue did this."

Wade shrugs. "Neither can I, but we believe in you. You are Rizzo, Violet. This is your moment."

Violet sighs and nods. "Okay. I just feel bad."

"Don't feel bad. You're going to kill this performance." Wade says.

Finn smiles as Wade and Violet hug.

Surprisingly, they're taking this really well.

"I'm more concerned about running into you-know-who." Rachel says as she and Kurt walk down the halls of McKinley High.

Kurt smiles. "You'll be fine. Oh, look, it's your locker next to my locker."

"Remember that time you got out of that date with Mercedes by saying that you had a thing for me, but it was really Violet?" Rachel says.

Kurt nods.

"Yeah, it still burns my ass to this day." Mercedes says as she walks down the hallway.

The three divas hug.

"Oh, my God, guys. It's amazing you guys came to see the musical. Look, these kids are ready to bring the house down." Mercedes says.

"How are you? Tell us everything." Kurt says.

"Oh, life is crazy busy. You know, it's not easy balancing UCLA classes and recording backup vocals or having Puckerman always hit me up for sugar mamas' phone numbers. But life is good." Mercedes answers.

Rachel smiles. "Good."

"Oh, you guys have to come backstage and say hi. They're gonna freak when they see who's here. And I know Violet would love to see you both."

= = =

Violet is finishing touching up her makeup when a pair of hands block her vision. Violet smiles immediately after knowing who it is.

"Kurt? I-I didn't think I'd see you this weekend." Violet says as Kurt removes his eyes from his fiancée's face.

Kurt smiles as he kisses her cheek.

"We wouldn't miss it for the world. Would we Kurt?" Rachel asks as she walks in.

Violet smiles and hugs her sister. "I'm so happy to see you guys. This is such a good surprise!"

"Rachel." Finn says as he walks into the room.

Rachel smiles tensely. "Finn, hey. How are you?"

Finn nods. "Good. A little... surprised to see you, but... I'm gonna go put the kids through their warm-up. Violet, will you go get everyone?" He asks.

Violet nods and walks out. She immediately finds everyone backstage. "Hey guys, we're needed for warm-ups." She says.

Violet walks back in just to hear Finn finish talking to Rachel. "I just want to say... it's cool you came to see our show."

Rachel walks out of the room after wishing Violet one final good luck. Violet looks at Kurt with a smile.

"I guess you should go get your seat. I'll see you after the show?" Violet asks.

Kurt smiles. "That sounds like a plan." He says and kisses her. "Break a leg sweetheart."

Violet smiles. "Oh Kurt, you give me courage when I need it the most."

= = =

Kurt, Rachel, Mercedes and Charlie sit together in the audience. Charlie's there because Violet practically begged him to come. He should be in the audience to cheer on his friends, instead of staying home and moping.

The first act goes really well. Kurt watches in amazement at Violet's acting. She's really in her element playing Rizzo.

It's now time for 'Beauty School Dropout,' performed by Blaine as the Teen Angel to Frenchy, who's played by Sugar.

[Beauty School Dropout by Blaine]

Blaine gets massive cheering from the audience for his performance.

= = =

It's almost time for Violet to go on and sing Rizzo's most infamous Grease song.

Dottie Kazatori walks up to the senior. "60 seconds, Miss Corcoran." She says.

Violet nods.

"Ms. Corcoran, are you nervous about your big number?" Dottie asks.

Violet shakes her head. "Oh, God, no, come on, it's all about the attitude. I'm just going to do what I did with "America" in West Side Story last year." She says.

Violet shakes out her nerves.

It's now or never.

= = =

Violet is onstage, singing 'There Are Worse Things I Could Do.' It turns into a duet with Wade, who's sitting in the audience, and then it becomes a trio with Cassandra July, who's in New York, seducing Brody.

[There Are Worse Things I Could Do by Violet, Wade and Cassandra]

After Violet's performance ends, she gets a standing ovation from the crowd.

Including Mercedes, Rachel, Kurt, Charlie and Wade.

The opening notes to 'You're The One That I Want' begins to play, and Ryder and Marley take the lead in the classic staple song of Grease.

[You're The One That I Want by Ryder, Marley, and McKinley High's Grease Cast plus Finchel and Santana]

While watching the number, Brittany, Charlie, and Rachel all have daydreams.

Charlie envisions he's singing this song with Blaine.

Brittany thinks about if she was singing this song with Santana.

Rachel has a flashback to Finn's very first day in New Directions, and how this was the very first song he sang in the club. She then sees herself and Finn singing as Danny and Sandy, as opposed to Ryder and Marley.

When the number ends, the cast get their well-deserved applause.

= = =

Finn finds Rachel in the hallway. "Hey... you missed the curtain call. Have you been crying?" He asks.

Rachel wipes her tears away. "No, I'm fine."

"For two years, I was the guy you came to with every little problem. Are we just going to pretend we're not even friends anymore?" Finn asks.

Rachel sighs. "I just... I shouldn't have come here. It's just... it's too weird."

"Then why'd you come?" Finn questions.

"For Kurt, for Violet and... and for you. You know, everything was really, really good, and I had a couple of notes, but they were small." Rachel says.

Finn nods. "Well, thank you for coming. Means a lot to me. Believe me, the whole time I was directing it, I was basically thinking, what would Rachel do? You're kind of my moose."

Rachel smiles gently. "It's... it's 'muse.'" She corrects.

Finn smiles. "I know. Just wanted to see you smile."

= = =

After curtain calls, Violet's talking with Brittany and Joe when she feels two arms scoop her up.

"Kurt Hummel!" She squeals. Brittany and Joe smile at how cute they are.

Kurt smiles. "Oh my God! You were amazing! Everyone was amazing. I'm so proud of you!" He says and kisses her face.

Violet giggles and captures his lips in a kiss. Kurt kisses back for a few seconds before he hears the clicking of Rachel's heels.

"Are you ok?" Kurt asks.

Rachel shakes her head. "I just want to go home."

Violet looks confused. "I thought this was home."

Rachel sighs. "Doesn't feel like it anymore."

Violet gives Rachel a hug. "Next time, I'll come out and visit." She says.

Rachel smiles gently. "You were amazing. I was so proud of you tonight."

Violet smiles. "I love you Rachel."

Rachel smiles. "I love you too Violet."

= = =

Blaine runs up to Charlie, who's walking the opposite way.

"Charlie, I need to talk to you. You okay?" Blaine asks as he sees Charlie is probably finished crying.

"I'm not interested." Charlie tells his ex-boyfriend.

"I-I never told you about what happened. The guy that I hooked up with... I need you to know everything." Blaine states.

Charlie whips his head around. "What are you gonna tell me, that it wasn't serious? That you only made out? That you didn't care about him?"

"I didn't care." Blaine says.

"Do you think any of that matters to me? Relationships are about trust... and I don't trust you anymore." Charlie says sadly.

Blaine walks off with his head hung low in shame.

He shouldn't have tried to talk to Charlie.

After Rachel and Kurt leave, Violet and Charlie meet up with the rest of New Directions in the choir room.

Will smiles. "Man, this week hasn't been easy, knowing it was the last time I was gonna see you guys for a while. But one thing that's helped is knowing that I'm leaving you in good hands. If there's one person who loves the Glee Club as much as I do, it's Finn. And I know in my heart that he has what it takes to get you guys a win at sectionals."

Finn feels good about the amount of trust Will has in him.

"I have so much to thank you guys for. But for giving me this chance to share that joy with others. I'm gonna see you guys in a few months, but hopefully, there'll he a brand-new sectionals trophy in that case over there. I love you guys. I'm really gonna miss you." Will says.

Violet smiles as she and the rest of New Directions hug their director.

Will smiles as he hugs back. "I'm serious... you can call me anytime, day or night."

Finn nods. "I know. You okay?" He asks Will.

Will nods. "Yeah. You okay?"

"Yeah." Finn assures.

"For sectionals, don't be afraid to open with a ballad." Will suggests.

Finn nods. "Yeah, sure we got a lot of great dancers now, but the judges at sectionals always reward the best singers." He reminisces.

"So what you gotta do..." Will says.

Finn pats Will on the shoulder. "Mr. Shue, I got this. Go get 'em."

Will smiles. "You, too." He says and walks out of the choir room.

Violet smiles as she hugs Finn. "We've got a lot of work ahead of us for Sectionals." She says.

Finn smirks. "And we'll get the job done. We always do."
