Chapter 12 - Awakening Feeling - (Short)
Error's POV
The movie was almost over. I still had Ink's and my fingers intertwined while Ink himself slept.
Credits began to roll but I didn't want to wake up Ink. He was so peaceful, resting his head on my shoulder.
Taryn stood up and went to tap him. However, I gave him a death glare. The white cat's ears dropped and his tail tucked itself between his legs.
I carefully stood up and picked up Ink from his seat. He moved in his sleep, wrapping his arms around my neck.
Blush covered my cheeks as he buried himself into my chest.
I carried Ink out of the theater. People stared at me but I didn't care.
I walked to Ink's car, unlocking it and putting him in the passenger seat. After sliding in the driver seat, I turned on the car.
(Time Skip)
Ink was curled under thick blankets on his bed. I sat on mine with my back leaning against the wall.
My hand held a picture that I took of Ink when we were drinking coffee at the café. The lighting was perfect that I had to take a secret picture. Ink doesn't know about this photo.
I felt a smile appear on my face at the memory. This was my favorite picture for some reason. It had a special place in my soul.
I heard an air filled sigh come from Ink. I quickly put the picture in my wallet.
Ink pushed himself up. I watched as he awoke. He looked around with a confused expression. His eyes met mine.
The smile on my face greeted him.
I knew that Ink disliked talking directly after he wakes up. This was because he didn't have full coordination over his hands.
Ink smiled back before getting up but his foot got caught in his blankets. He began to fall however, I teleported to him and caught him.
Ink tightly embraced me while shaking in fear. He pulled away from me.
Me: Are you okay?
He nodded.
Me: Good.
We stood up, our eyes locked with one another. My chest grew hot and my legs felt weak.
Ink motioned towards his school supplies. I remembered that we had class soon.
Me: Oh... right.
I said while rubbing the back of my neck. My face grew warm from embarrassment.
My friend picked up his backpack and waited for me to get ready.
After I got my stuff together, we left for class.
There was silence between us as we walked down the street. Ink was looking at his phone, holding my sleeve so he wouldn't run into something.
We arrived at the building and entered it. The stairs to the classroom was long but it was over soon.
Ink and I were the first students in the room so...
It was just us
