Well, look at me. The big girl. Alexander Cam, gonna sing at Cabaret Night. Panic At The Disco. Because I'm a freshman, and this is the year I would decide to do great things.

Like, for example, to ask Aidan to come to watch me fail. It was Monday, and everyone was sluggish and cranky. Except for me. 

"Bye Sophie!" I said goodbye to my eldest sister, as I walked through the double doors of the high-school. I walked swiftly to my locker down the hallway, grinning as big as ever. Fiona, an aqaintence of mine, asked me why I was so happy. After all, it was a Monday. I didn't tell her, even though my proud side was slapping me to do it. I gave her a sweet smile and walked off. 

I approached Aidan, and waited for him to finish putting things away in his locker. "Hey, Aidan, you know how there's the cabaret night thing, where you sing and stuff?" Wow, great explanation, Dumbo. 

His confused face showed. "Uhm, no."

"Well, you do now." I grabbed his arm as he slammed his locker door. We have 10 minutes until class starts, so I better act cool before he suspects something. We walked to the front if the school, near the auditorium and Cafe. "Are you free that day?" Piece by piece, Alex, piece by piece. 

"Yeah, I guess. I have tennis practice for a few hours, but after 6, I'm free." He retorted, practically being dragged by my arm. I straightened up as people came into view, and loosened my grip on Aidan. Please don't make him think I'm a psychopath. 

"Cool, so will you come to the Cabaret night thing? I'm gonna be singing, and my parents aren't coming, so I'll need some support." Alex, stop blabbing and see what he has to say!

"Yeah, I mean, sure, I'll go." 

"Okay, I'm gonna need a ride, so can you give me one?" This is most daring I will ever be. 

"Sure, okay." 

 "Alright, see you then." I ran off, when I let go of him. I can't see anything right now, just trying to register what just happened..
