FREDDY'S POV
Reyna sucks in an unsteady breath and tells 'Linhdre', "We'll be right back."
She grabs my arm and we stuff ourselves into a random porta-potty.
"She's crazy," I whisper.
Reyna nods. "Like... Superman or something. A tall alien, black-haired, blue-eyed, seems perfectly friendly," she says.
Her breath is warm on my face, and her winter coat is bundled around her small frame delicately.
I've had a huge crush on Reyna for years, but I've never had the guts to tell her that, so I'm pretty much tortured 24/7.
I shake my head to be rid of the thought and say, "Yeah. You think we should get her to a doctor, or a therapist or something?"
Reyna cracks the door slightly and glances at the strange, strange girl, who is sitting curtly on a rock, perfectly still. If it weren't for her blinking, I'd be sure she was dead. Reyna closes the door again and looks back to me.
"No. I think we should trust her. This is our Superman. Let's go."
She grabs my arm again before I can argue that we probably shouldn't adopt our very own psycho and I'm dragged out towards the girl.
"Look. We have a few questions," Reyna says.
"Alright," she agrees, straightening up as if preparing for a quiz bowl competition.
"What planet are you from again?"
"Vesta."
"Why are you here?"
"My mother sent me here. She said that I would see why later."
Reyna nods. "Of course. Look, Superman, you're not gonna fit in looking like that."
