Clawthans are HUGE creatures that are similar to werewolves. They have two forms, human and clawthan, but it's painful to switch between them.

Humans can become clawthans by getting bitten or scratched (but only if the teeth or claws have the poison in them). After this, there are four stages:
-The marks turn bright blue and glow
-The victim becomes more independant and secretive
-The victim goes into temporary paralysis and is in extreme pain
-FINALLY a clawthan

And here is the comparison of a clawthan to a human:

Yeah...they're HUUUUUGE.
They are usually gentle giants, though. They are only mean when they feel threatened.

There are two kinds, commons and troyales.

Commons have blue poison only either in their teeth OR their claws.
Troyales have both.

...that's the only difference.

Sooo yeah.
