"Thank you so much, Leeanna," Scott replied, smiling when the seventh grader handed him Alex. "You're a great babysitter."

"Thank you, Scott," the brunette replied, smiling while adjusting her glasses. "Mariposa slept the entire time. How are you guys? You and Mitch, I mean."

"We've been better."

Leeanna nodded sadly, hugging Scott tightly before smiling at Mitch. She let go of the Lead Alpha and hugged the Special, sighing quietly.

"I'm so sorry, Mitchy. Macy would have been amazing."

Mitch nodded, swallowing the lump in his throat. He didn't want to cry!

Don't cry, Queen. Everything will be okay. Your princess is happy.

"Well, I've got to go now. I'll see you all later."

Scott waved goodbye to the Beta, looking over at Mitch. He smiled, hugging his husband and kisses him gently on his temple.

"My little Council Member. I'm so happy that you read that book by yourself."

"You helped me," Mitch pointed out, looking at the ground. "I barely read the first paragraph."

"That's okay. Your reading has improved a lot. I'm so proud of you, baby. You're meant to do amazing things."

Mitch smiled, nodding his head in agreement as he kissed his husband. The doorbell rang, causing Scott to walk over to it. When he opened it, his smile grew.

"Kevlyssa and Tavi! Hello, my friends!"

"Hi," Tori replied, setting Jordyn down. She ran over to Melody, a big smile on her face. "I have some amazing news for you two!"

"Oh, news! I like news! Tell me, tell me, tell me!"

"Mitch, what do we say?"

Mitch blushed a bit, smiling apologetically as he looked over at Tori.

"Tell me...please."

"Good," Scott complimented, smiling a bit. He hugged Mitch closely, looking down at him. "You know, since you're technically an Omega anymore, I don't need to punish you anymore."

"Technically, you sill have to," Kevin spoke up, smiling sadly at Mitch. The Special nodded, terror in his eyes. "Yes, he is a Special, but he was born an Omega. He will still have to follow the rules an Omega follows. Sorry, Mitchy."

"It's okay," Mitch replied, shrugging his shoulders. "They're rules. I'm supposed to follow them, no matter what."

"Oh my gosh, you're too good of an Omega," Alyssa spoke up, bringing a smile to Mitch's face. "You've only been punished a handful of times, but you didn't deserve them. You're a great Omega, Mitchy."

"Thank you," Mitch responded, a smile on his face. He giggled when he saw Avi jumping a bit, tilting his head a bit. "Why are you so happy, Dragon?"

"Tori has amazing news, Mouse! Tori, tell them! I'm too excited to tell!"

"I'm pregnant again!"

Mitch screamed, hugging Tori tightly. Alyssa hugged her friend again, laughing a bit while Ariel and Erik covered their ears. Melody and Jordyn were confused, wondering why Mitch screamed. Scott dropped his jaw, a big smile on his face as he looked at Avi.

"How though?!"

"God works in amazing ways."

The Pack celebrated once more when a window broke, scaring everyone. All the children began to cry, the sound scaring them. Mitch raised an eyebrow, picking up Mariposa as she cried. Scott held Nel and Alex while Melody stayed by Jordyn, tears rolling down their faces as they cried.

"What was that?!"

Mitch walked over to the window, bending down when he saw a rock. He picked it up, looking outside to see if it was a teenager who did it. When he found a message, his eyes widened at it.

Your hair is thin. It's disgusting to look at. Purple is a horrible color on you.

Mitch felt lightheaded, his knees becoming weak. Scott ran over to him, screaming his name. Somebody hit Mariposa from his arms and he fell to the ground, his head hitting the ground roughly.

Who was that?!

And darkness met him immediately.

Ben sighed, walking back and forth while Jessi followed him. Jeremy hasn't been out of his room for the past couple of hours and it was scaring him to no end.

"Ben?"

He looked around, smiling at Jessi the best he could. They frowned, hugging Ben close to them.

"Jeremy might be asleep. He's been very tired recently."

"I know, but..."

Ben trailed off, keeping his mouth shut. Jessi nodded, waiting to hear the rest of his statement. When he said nothing else, they shook their head and crossed their arms.

"Ben, what were you going to say? You trailed off."

"I forgot what I was going to say."

Jessi rolled their eyes, becoming angry as Ben walked over to his room. Jessi stopped him, causing him to glare at them with anger in his eyes.

"I forgot Jessi! Sorry for not remembering!"

"Ben, there is something you are not telling me! What is wrong with your brother?!"

"Nothing, Jessi! You can't make me tell you!"

"You have to if something is wrong with your brother! This isn't healthy, Ben! Something is wrong with Jeremy!"

"Nothing is wro-"

Jeremy opened his door, tears in his eyes. He wiped at them quickly, smiling at the Omegas the best he could.

"Ben?"

Ben turned around, smiling at his brother. He was oblivious to the broken look in Jeremy's eyes, just being happy because his brother is finally out of his room. Jessi, however, saw Jeremy's brokenness clear as day.

"What's up, Jeremy? I missed you!"

"I'm going to miss- I missed you too, buddy," Jeremy replied, hugging his brother tightly. Jessi widened their eyes, wondering if they heard that correctly. "Ben, I want you to know that I am sorry for hurting in the past."

"You don't need to apologize! You already said sorry!"

"I know, but I want you to remember that forever. I love you so much, Benny. Never forget that."

Tears gathered in Ben's eyes as he hugged his brother, feeling his love for his brother grow. Jeremy hugged him back, crying for an entirely different reason. Jessi watched the scene between the two brothers, wondering what was going on.

"I'm going back into my room, okay? Maybe we could go out and do something fun."

"Yes! Could we do to the park like we did when I was younger?"

Jeremy hesitated a bit, nodding stiffly as more tears gathered in his eyes. Ben hugged him once more, reluctant to let him go. The door closed, separating the two brothers.

Forever.

"Ben, did Jeremy seem off to you?"

"Well, he seemed sad. He probably-"

*BANG*

Ben jumped, widening his eyes as the gun echoed in the house. Jessi gasped, putting their hand on their mouth. Ben opened the door, crying when he saw Jeremy's limp body with blood coming out of his temple.

"JEREMY!"

Ben fell to the ground, crying loudly as he held his dead brother. Jessi cried silently, shaking as they grabbed the phone to call the hospital. Ben looked at them, tears falling down rapidly as he sobbed.

"I have no one in my family anymore. I don't have a family anymore."

You have the Pack, Ben. You will always have a family.

"Darien?"

"Yes, babe?"

"What happened to that picture of you and Kirstin?"

Darien snickered, clearing his throat so that Esther would not be suspicious.

"DARIEN, WHAT DID YOU DO TO IT?!"

He finally laughed, standing up to see his angry wife glaring at him. He walked over to her, smirking a bit.

"Let's just say that pictures flush very well."

Esther widened her eyes, tears gathering in them as she stomped up to her husband. She pushed him roughly, crying more as he fell to the ground.

"I HATE YOU! WHY DID YOU DO THAT?! I MISS HER, DARIEN! HOW COULD YOU?!"

Darien hissed in pain when Esther kicked him, standing up while clutching his side. The Beta glared at him, slapping him across the face with all her might.

"HOW WOULD YOU LIKE IT IF I DID THAT TO A PICTURE OF YOUR MOM, UH?! HOW WOULD YOU LIKE IT?!"

"I wouldn't like it because my mom wasn't a cold hearted murderous liar like Kirstin."

Esther screamed, punching Darien across the face. He hissed in pain, walking away so she wouldn't hurt him anymore.

"I'M NOT DONE WITH YOU YET!"

"I'm done with you! You're abusing me, Esther! Ever since Kirstin told you to abuse me."

"WHY DO YOU ALWAYS BLAME HER! SHE DIDN'T DO ANYTHING! SHE NEVER HURT YOU, ME, AVI, MITCH, OR ANYONE ELSE! YOU ARE ALL DELUSIONAL! STOP BLAMING HER!"

Tears finally ran down Esther's cheeks as she ran upstairs, crying quietly. Darien took a deep breath, shaking his head as he thought about Kirstin.

She was nice at first. She was cute, sweet, kind, resourceful, anything you could find in a Beta. Suddenly, she became mean. She blackmailed anyone she could and was just awful to everyone. She called people mean names and made sure that they felt bad about themselves.

Esther was her biggest target.

Everyday, she will call Esther the meanest names and the talk brunette became insecure in herself. She listened to what Kirstin had to say, even if it was rude. She cried every night because of it and it broke Darien's heart. In no more than a year, Esther became exactly like Kirstin. The angered Darien to no end.

"I hate you, Kirstin. I'm so happy that you're gone."

Nobody will ever hurt Esther again. I refuse.

I go back to school tomorrow, but I will have 35 school days left! That's the fun part of being a senior.xD Hopefully, when I'm in college I'll update my stories more. We shall see.;) Anyways, I hope that you all enjoyed the chapter and remember that I love you all.:)
