Chapter Eight

High School Musical is the best thing that has ever happened to me...just saying.xD

I HAVE A NEW IDEA FOR A BOOK TOO!!!

It won't come out until The Unbreakable Bond/Will I is over though. When those two are over, I will only have my collab book,  Secrets, and Special left. I can't wait for the new book though.;)

Mitch opened his eyes, adjusting to the light in his line of vision. He groaned, pain in his head as he sat up. He put his hand on his temple, being pushed back softly by Alyssa.

"Sit up slowly," Alyssa commanded in a motherly voice, looking at Mitch worriedly. Scott stood behind her, Mariposa in his arms. "You passed out. You've been passed out for the past forty five minutes."

"Oh," Mitch whispered, whimpering at the pain. Alyssa was quick to give him medicine, frowning as she saw the pain in Mitch's eyes. "Did I really fall that hard?"

"You fell on one of the kids' toys. A block to be more specific," Scott spoke up, sitting down next to his husband. Mitch nodded, resting his head on Scott's shoulder. "Take it easy, okay? You might have a concussion."

"Okay, Prince Erik. Um, is the window okay? It broke."

"The window will be fixed, but you're the only thing that matters right now," Scott reassured, brushing the purple hair back. Mitch smiled as Alyssa pushed him back into the bed. "Go to sleep, okay? Alyssa will check in you every hour to see if you are okay."

"Wait, everyone is spending the night?" Mitch asked excitedly, a weak smile on his face. Alyssa nodded, a smile growing on her face. "That makes me so happy!"

Mitch frowned suddenly, crossing his arms as he glared at Scott. The tall blond widened his eyes, wondering why Mitch did that.

"Mitch, are you giving attitude?"

Mitch shook his head, picking up his stuffed Ariel. For the past three or four years he's had it, it has lost most of its stuffing. The stuffed toy was still valuable to him and he could never let it go.

Even if Kirstin bought it for him.

"Then what is it, love? You just don't glare at people for no reason."

"If you watch The Little Mermaid without me, I am going to steal your peanut butter."

Scott laughed, shaking his head as Mariposa moved around a bit. He kissed Mitch's hurt temple, smiling when the Special's smile grew.

"If you steal my peanut butter, I'll steal your GoldFish."

"If you steal my GoldFish, I'll steal your eyebrows...wait..."

Alyssa burst out laughing, tears gathering in her eyes as Scott's jaw dropped open. The Lead Alpha handed Mariposa to the female Beta, tickling Mitch right away.

"Noooooouuhhh."

"YOU CAN'T STOP ME!"

Mitch laughed as tears ran down his cheeks, practically wrestling Scott off him. He hissed in pain when his head began to hurt again, taking away Scott's fingers from his sides. The blond looked at him worriedly, his blue eyes wide.

"Are you okay, love?"

"Yeah. My head just hurts," Mitch replied, rubbing his temple soft just. He yawned quietly, rubbing his eyes like a small child would. "I'm sleepy."

"I would expect so," Alyssa commented, putting the blankets over Mitch's lithe body. "Go to sleep. I'll get up in an hour or so. Maybe we could play some games with the others."

Mitch smiled, closing his eyes as he felt Scott kiss his forehead. The door closed quietly, bringing him to DreamLand once more.

What he found out will most like change his life and the Pack's lives forever.

~~~
When Scott looked over at Avi, he knew something was wrong. The Alpha was shaking a bit, his phone on his hand while Tori cried. Kevin was non-responsive, his eyes full of tears while Alyssa sat by him. Worry was evident in her face, holding Kevin's hand tightly as she kissed his cheek.
"What happened?"
"Ben just called me," Avi spoke up, his voice laced with tears. Scott nodded, looking over at the Alpha fearfully. "It's Jeremy."
"What about Jeremy?" Alyssa asked, wiping a tear away from Kevin's cheek. "What happened to him?"
Avi began to cry silently, not being being to talk. Tori was inconsolable, tears and mascara falling down her cheeks as she hid her face behind her hair. Kevin sighed, taking Alyssa's hands in his own.
"Kevin? What happened to Jeremy?"
"He...he killed himself."
Alyssa gasped, tears gathering in her eyes as she began to cry. Erik tilted his head, hugging her leg as he looked up at her.
"Mommy, no cry. It otay."
Alyssa cried harder, not even caring to fix her son's sentence. She picked up her son, crying into his shirt. Ariel was picked up by her dad, looking up at him innocently.
"Why you crying? No cry. It going to be otay."
Kevin sobbed silently, hugging his daughter close to him. Avi picked up Jordyn, crying as he did. Tori stood up, going into the bathroom so no one would have to look at her. Scott was the only one who hasn't reacted yet. He had a blank look on his face as he tried to register the most recent event.
Jeremy...died? In not happy that he's gone, but he hurt Mitchy. If he was lying to us abut being good again, he could've hurt Mitch again. If that was the case, then Mitch will safe from Jeremy. If it's not...
"Dada," Melody commanded, throwing her arms up. Scott picked up his daughter, smiling the best he could. "Up!"
"Yeah, baby," Scott replied, tears finally gathering in his eyes. He sniffed, smiling weakly as he looked at his daughter. "Up you go."
Scott began to cry, wondering why Jeremy would do such a thing. Ben pretty much has no family anymore! He has Jessi and the Pack, but he has no more biological family members.
"What are we going to do with Ben and Jessi?"
"We're going to let them move in," Tori spoke up, sighing sadly as she wiped her eyes. "He has no one, Scott. He needs to be with us. He can't do this alone."
"Hello, everyone! I am awake and-why is everyone crying?"
Scott looked around, his heart breaking at the sight of his innocent husband. The Special held onto his stuffed Ariel, looking like a small child as he hopped downstairs. He went in front of Scott, his smile growing as he kissed his cheek.
"I missed you, Scott! Even though I was asleep. Anyway, why are you crying? Did something happen?"
"Mitch...something happened."
Mitch frowned, sitting down as his eyes grew wide in wonder. Avi sat down next to him, bringing him in close as Scott held his hand. Kevin hugged Alyssa, letting her cry on her shoulder as their children were set down to play.
"Scott, where's Mariposa and the twins?"
"Mari is in her cradle and the twins are in the play pin. Mitch, something happened."
"What happened?"
"Ben and Jessi are going through a tough time right now," Avi spoke up, hugging Mitch tighter. The Special looked at him, terror in his eyes. "Something happened to Jeremy."
"Wh-what happened?! Is he okay?!"
Avi shook his head, more tears rolling down his cheeks as he swallowed the lump in his throat. Mitch looked over at Scott, shaking as tears gathered in his eyes.
"Scott, what happened?! Please tell me."
"He killed himself. I'm so sorry, Mitch."
The Special gasped, throwing his hand over his mouth as he began to cry loudly. He shook his head, feeling Avi hug him even tighter. He gasped for air, crying even harder as remembered something.
"Mitch, calm down," Avi commanded in a fatherly tone, his voice raspy from crying. "You're going to make yourself sick."
"I can't stop though. I just remembered something."
"What is it?"
Mitch wiped his eyes, crying more as he looked at Scott. He took a deep breath, more tears rolling down his cheeks as his face crumpled.
"I never got to tell Jeremy that I forgive him for hurting me."
~~~

Esther would be lying if she said that she never had a crush on Kirstin.

Who could blame her? With curly blonde hair that fell to her shoulders, eyes as dark as the night and light as the day, a smile so pure and sweet, and a personality that was so kind, everyone fell for Kirstin.

That's what Kirstin wanted people to think at least.

She dyed her hair every time she felt like killing someone. Her eyes held hatred in them. Her smile was evil whenever she excelled at an evil plan of hers. Her personality was anything but kind.

Pretty much, she was a liar. She made people think that she was a completely different person than she actually is. Nobody ever expected her to be like this until it was too late. Everyone fell into her trap of her true self.

Esther was the biggest victim.

The two girls met met in Beta school and Esther fell for her instantly. Kirstin was so nice and kind to her, which drew her in. The girls did projects together and ended up having some of the highest scores in their school. As the years passed on, Esther's love for her grew. After gathering up enough courage, she finally admitted how she felt.

The response broke her heart.

"Sorry, but I don't like gay people. They disgust me."

Esther cried for the longest time after that happened. She began to look for someone new, knowing that Darien was the one when they first met each other. She was still good friends with Kirstin, even thigh she was hurt terribly by her. When Darien found out what she did, he hated Kirstin.

That's why he hates Kirstin. She hurt Esther and forced her to be someone she's not. Darien knows that the real Esther will come back one day, but that day is taking forever to come back.

"Darien?"

Darien looked up, nodding as his wife walked in. Esther sighed, her eyes full of exhaustion as she sat down on the couch.

"I'm sorry that I hurt you. I didn't know why I did that."

Kirstin told you to hurt me.

"I accept your apology. If you ever feel like doing that again, please tell me. Your feelings matter."

Esther nodded, cuddling up to Darien as she sighed quietly. She played with his fingers, looking up at him sadly.

"I did something that is really, really bad."

"What did you do?"

Esther sighed, playing with her fingers as she sat up. Darien let her out of his grasp, staring at her as he waited for an answer.

"Promise me that you won't get angry at me. I didn't mean it."

"What did you do?"

Esther sighed once more, tears gathering in her eyes as she looked at Darien. She held her hands, shaking as she admitted what she did.

"I threw a rock through the Grassi-Hoying's window with a message on it for Mitch."

"Why?! Why would you ever do that?!"

Esther flinched, look done at her lap as she cried some more. Darien glared at her impatiently, waiting for a response.

"I want to make him insecure again. That's what Kirstin would have wanted."

A/N: Well...how do you feel about Esther now? I don't know how I feel, lol. Anyways, I hope that you enjoyed the chapter and remember that I love you all.:)
