I put my heart inside a microwave

Day 5: Team Bonding
The Special Operations Team is widely acknowledged to be some of the most dangerous autobots in the army. Both is sense of skill and the information they possess. Their weekly meetings are a time for them to regroup and discuss the various news and information they found through the week.
They have no idea that the 'Super secret Spec Ops meetings' are all just an excuse for a gossip group!

Jazz marched down the hall with one goal in mind. With a couple energon cubes for his team safely secured in his subspace pocket, he walked down the corridor to their designated meeting room. He nodded to his comrades and fellow officers as he passed, only stopping to briefly chat with Prowl.
He waved a bit as they split, a small smile on his faceplates and a warm feeling in his spark.
For once he was glad his team wasn't here to see him. They'd tease him over this relentlessly!
Hurrying up he quickened his pace, wanting to get to the meeting room as fast as possible to avoid any other distractions. Finally, he got to his destination and quickly tapping in his code, the door opened, letting him in.
There he was met with three of his agents. Bumblebee was animatedly talking with Neonbolt, who nodded along as he listened. Mirage sat a little off to the side, a small can of paint laying open on his desk as he carefully painted his left servo, the right one holding a thin brush.
Bee paused his story to wave excitedly at him before going back to talking again. Neon also gave him a wave, but he also smiled and gave him a thumbs up as motioned for him to come closer. Mirage only looked at him, quickly giving a nod of acknowledgement before focusing on his servo again.
Jazz rolled his optics fondly at his team's reactions as he strolled towards the sitting duo. He passed them a cube each, earning small 'thanks' from both of them before quickly heading to Mirage and placing his portion beside the paint. Mirage paused, looked at the cube and back at Jazz and nodded his head, muttering a quiet 'thank you' as he quickly became distracted with his servos again. Jazz huffed and lightly pat Mirage's helmet affectionately before turning around and going to sit by the other two bots.
"Hound couldn't be here today. Something about a turbofox's burrow that he found while on patrol. Sounded pretty excited about it at least." Jazz informed everyone.
"Yep, we've heard. Hound commed Mirage earlier. I swear, he was much more attentive when talking to him than either of us this whole time."
"Hah, what did you expect? Those two lovebirds always find time for each other." Neon said, the organic nickname slipping in, thought particularly fitting at least for one bot involved.
"Oh come on Neon, don't act like you're better! We've all seen how you look at that new medic femme. What was her name, Zairastar?"
Neon spluttered, energon rushing to his faceplates.
"Wha- No I don't!"
"Yes you doo~" Bee sing-sang before erupting in giggles.
"I mean, the evidence is kinda stacked against you right now, my mech." Jazz laughed as he brought his energon cube up to his intake with one hand, patting Neon on his shoulder with the other as the poor bot only groaned, hiding his face in his servos.
"Oh, please, look who's talking! I bet you were late 'cause you got distracted looking at Prowl's bumper again!"
Jazz choked on his energon, feeling heat rushing to his faceplates.
Mirage only sighed from his seat, checking his fingers under the light again.
"You're all hopeless." He declared and, finding it not sufficient enough, continued to paint his fingers.
"Oh look who spoke up, Mr. I-talk-about-my-bonded-so-much-it's-tiring." Bee sneered before snickering again. Mirage only rolled his optics.
"Well, at least unlike all of you hopeless romantics, I actually have a bonded to talk about, unlike you all pining bolt-processors." He declared with a smirk of his own. Bee let out an exaggerated gasp, Jazz choked on his energon again and Neonbolt stumbled from his seat.
"Primus damn, you really went there!" Neon said, looking comically shocked.
"Oh, that was one hell of a low blow, even for you 'Raj." Jazz said after he finally stopped choking. Mirage's only reply was his sly smirk before he turned his attention to his hands again.
They sat in comfortable silence for a while. Suddenly, Bee started to snicker, which soon turned into a full out laugh. Neon soon followed, joined by Jazz as they both couldn't stop their mirth at the ridiculousness of the situation. Even Mirage wasn't spared, he himself struggling to keep a couple very un-noble like snickers from escaping his vocalizer.
He couldn't help but smile at his friends, a moment of peaceful fun filling the air. He thinks he could get used to this.
And hey! Maybe the next time they have a meeting, he won't be the only person in an actual relationship anymore!
