Day 2: Cross-faction/Forbidden Romance

Bumblebee and Breakdown race, laugh together, then race again. In that over.

Bumblebee laughed as he drove, the high of the race filling him with adrenaline. He revved his engine and sped up, the wind whipping past him as he masterfully swerved around the human racers, quickly coming to second place. Only one person remained.

The familiar blue racing car also sped up, but this time, Bumblebee was prepared. He activated his energon boosters and quickly caught up to his companion, revving his engine in a primitive greeting. The car's engine rumbled, something loosely resembling a laugh coming out as Bee sped up and drifted on the last corner, only a straight path now leading to the finish line. He felt the joyous feeling spread through his body as he sped up for the last time, finally crossing the finish line in first place, his blue companion quickly coming up with second, followed by all the other racers.

He laughed as he drove off, not waiting for the other humans. Only the blue car followed him, now driving beside him as they both made their way over to a more secluded place.

Finally, free of the human's gazes, Bumblebee transformed and laughed his vocalizer out. His partner swiftly followed suit, revealing Breakdown in all his Stunticon glory. He also laughed, his voice pleasant to Bumblebee's audial.

"I won! I'm faster than you!" Bumblebee teased.

"No fair, you used your energon boosters!" Breakdown quipped back, a smile still stretched on his lipplates.

"Well, you never said anything about those, now did you, ey?" Bumblebee said back before bursting out laughing again at the face Breakdown made.

Breakdown only rolled his optics, smiling fondly.

"Yeah, yeah, we both know the only way you'd ever win against me is with them!"

"Wha- that's not true!"

"Oh yeah? Why don't you show me, then?" Breakdown smirked.

"Oh, you're on." Bumblebee replied with a smirk of his own, accepting the new challenge.

They quickly lined up on the road. Just before starting, Breakdown looked at Bumblebee, winked at him and quickly blew him a kiss, causing him to splutter. Laughing a bit, he quickly transformed and drove away, leaving a stunned Bumblebee behind.

Bumblebee quickly shook his helm before transforming and following his partner, screaming through their comms about how "that's unfair!". The only response he got was more laughter.

As they drove, laughing together, Bumblebee felt peace in his spark.

He wouldn't change this for anything.

I went through like- 4 different drafts for this day before finally settling with this one. I had this Starbee one with 250 words written(which I might post as a totally separate work someday) but I didn't really like it's vibe, but then the Earthspark FoxNews controversy happened and my brain just went "I know what I must do". So yeah, here's my contribution to making Earthspark more popular <3

PS. Gender Warrior sound genuinely badass, Optimus Prime can make me his Gender Warrior any day lmao
