"Ana," Isaiah shook the girl awake.

"What?" the girl sat up, rubbing her eyes and sitting up to look at the boys standing at the bottom of her bed.

"Me and Finn have to go, your dad said you'd be alright on your own if you use his spare gun," Isaiah told the girl who was still waking up and trying to process what was happening.

"Did he say where he put his spare gun or do I have to search for it?"

"He said he-" Finn was cut off by a harsh knock at the door.

"Christ, it's too early for this shit." Ana slowly got up from her bed and followed the boys down the stairs.

"Wait there," Isaiah told her over his shoulder, reached for the door knob while Finn's arm pushed her behind her and into the kitchen out of sight until Isaiah got back. The two of them looked at each other and then back at the kitchen door, listening to Isaiah talk to whoever was on the other side of the door.

"Should have got the gun," Ana whispered from beside Finn.

"I've got mine if we need it and I doubt we will with Isaiah answering the door," Finn reassured her. "Without sounding horrible but who's visiting you this early? You have no friends besides me, Katie and Isaiah."

"I have no idea," she shrugged. "Maybe it's Katie?"

"Can't be, Isaiah's still talking. If it was Katie she would have just walked in," Finn shrugged, looking to the door which Isaiah had now closed.

Ana's attention turned to Isaiah, "Who was it then?"

"Your boyfriend."

"Is he still alive?"

"Unfortunately," he nodded.

"Great," she muttered, annoyance clear in her tone. "What did he want?"

"He said he wanted to talk you about meeting with his dad or something," he told her, shrugging. "Whatever that means. Actually wait, what does that mean?"

"It'll just be about the wedding. Oliver, his dad, wants to push it forward but my dad won't let that happen until I'm ready," she sighed.

"Look, we have to go but try stay away from him. Take the gun with you wherever you go," Finn passed her the spare gun from upstairs.

"Will you be okay by yourself?" Isaiah asked, shrugging his coat on.

Ana nodded, "Yeah, I'm going to see Pol anyway."

"Right okay, we'll see you soon," he placed a kiss on her forehead before disappearing out of the door with Finn following after he brought her into a side hug. The teen sighed once the door closed and rubbed her face.

The teen kept her head down in the hopes it would make her head stop aching and that she was just being paranoid at the feeling of someone following her. She didn't notice the boy standing by the door as she went to knock on it. "Oh!" she jumped, placing her hand on her chest. "I didn't see you there. Wait you're-"

"You're the girl that was with my cousin," he reminded himself.

"Yeah, that's me," she chuckled. "I'm not related to you or anything! My parents are friends with your cousins."

"Michael," he held out his hand.

"Anastasia," she shook his hand. "Or you can call me Ana or Sia or Stasia, I don't mind."

"I'll stick to Ana for now," he laughed at her rambling of her nicknames.

"Have you seen Elizabeth?" Michael asked her watching her shake her head. "I was told she lived at number seventeen."

"Uhm no I was hoping to find her to see if she knew where my parents were but as I'm now aware, she's not here either. And if you do see her do not at all mention I was with Tommy that day please I can't cope with Pol hating me for keeping secrets about you."

Michael cleared his throat and turned his head towards Pol who was stumbling down the street looking for her keys. "Excuse me? I'm looking for someone called Elizabeth Gray," Michael spoke as she got closer.

Pol stood still looking between Ana and Michael as the boy went on, "I was told she lived her at number seventeen." The brunette girl sent Pol an awkward smile before looking back to see Jack walk past. "I came last night but there was nobody here. So I waited."

"What do you want with Elizabeth Gray?" Pol asked the boy.

"I think she might be my mother." Once hearing those words come out of Michael's mouth the woman dropped her keys which the boy picked up and unlocked the door with, Pol and Ana's eyes not leaving his figure.

Ana stood awkwardly in the doorway not wanting to ruin Pol's reunion with her son but she also needed to know where her parent's were so after an internal battle with herself she cleared her throat. "I'm so sorry but you haven't seen my mum or dad have you? They weren't in the house when I woke up this morning and I haven't seen them since last night and Jack is about somewhere and I don't really fancy arguing with him right now or at all," she rambled.

"The last time I saw your mum was with Ada after you left and she had Karl and your dad was with John," Pol smiled as she placed the cup in front of Michael. "If you'd like you can stay until the boys get here, they might know where they are."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes, don't be silly. Sit," the woman insisted. Michael watching her sit down opposite him.

Ana opened her mouth to talk but was cut off by the sound of Arthur shouting, "Run for the hills! It's the Digbeth Kid!"

"Jesus Christ what are they up to now," Ana sighed and looked to the door where the men were about to crash through.

"Get out of town kid or I will shoot your fucking head off!" John crashed through the door, Arthur following and Michael standing up.

"Times up!" Arthur made a sound as if he'd just shot John who had caught sight of Michael and Ana. "You're dead. Go down. John!" Ana closed her eyes in an attempt to stop herself from laughing out loud while shaking her head when Arthur looked back at Michael. Michael was looking at Ana who now had her eyes open and smiled at the boy.

The brunette turned her head back when she heard John and Arthur snickering. "Alright then, Polly. Who's this?" Arthur asked, still snickering only he was looking to Tommy and had his hands resting on Ana's chair.

"Gentlemen?" Tommy nodded his head towards Michael. "This is your cousin. Polly's son, Michael."

Ana felt awkward to say the least, she shouldn't be here she should be finding her parents but no one knew where they were. She slid out of her chair to speak to Tommy. "Have you seen my parents? I'm not bothered which one," she asked the man.

"I haven't seen them since last night," he responded.

"Where the fuck are they?" she asked out loud but more to herself than Tommy.

"Where are you going, kiddo?" Arthur asked when he saw she had her coat on.

"To find my parents?" she told him but it sounded more like a question rather than a statement.

"You're not going by yourself," he shook his head.

"I'll take her," Michael offered.

"You don't know your way around," she rolled her eyes. "Arthur I'll be fine."

"Your mum said that in London and ended up getting beat up by Sabini, your dad said that and ended up get beat up by Oliver Robinson," John reminded her.

"Yeah well I'll be fine, the Robinson's can't hurt me or I won't go through with the wedding and Sabini is in London and since geography isn't either of your strongest subjects, we are in Birmingham. I will be fine," she huffed with a smile. "Go back to your little family gathering."

John, Arthur and Michael looked unsure but knew Ana was stubborn and was going to go either way. "Fine," John sighed. "But you let us know you're alright, we'll send Isaiah and Finn round later."

"Okay," she nodded. "It was nice meeting you, Michael."

"You too," he smiled as she walked past him to leave.

The girl was sitting at the cut when she noticed a figure that looked like Isaiah approaching. "You alright?" he asked, when he got close enough for her to hear him.

"I'm worrying when they've probably gone to London and just forgot to tell me. They do that a lot actually, well my mum. Not so much my dad," she muttered. "I'll be fine."

"You know you can always stay at mine if you want," Isaiah smiled at the girl. "Or me and Finn will stay at yours whichever you want."

"I'll be fine, 'Siah," she smiled at him.

"I know but-"

"I'm having a sister," she cut him off. "So that means you and Finn have to be the annoying, overprotective and overbearing brothers I never had."

"You know I already am the overprotective and overbearing brother you never had but I am not annoying," he nudged her shoulder.

"You are so annoying," she laughed. Ana was glad Isaiah was her best friend, she didn't know what she would have done without him. He was the only person that made her see sense in this whole deal.

"Anyway, now we've established that I'm not annoying, why is Finn saying you have a crush on his cousin?"

"I don't know because I don't have a crush on him. I've met him like twice," she shook her head with a sigh. "And even if I did a crush on him, there's nothing I could do about it unless Jack just suddenly dropped dead."

"Unless who drops dead?" Michael's voice cut off Isaiah's reply.

"Jack," she replied, not realising the blonde boy was standing beside him. "Oh, shit." The brunette placed her head in her hands.

"Ana?" the blonde's voice full of confusion.

"I didn't mean it," she replied, not bothering to follow after him when he disappeared. "Oh well. We all know I meant it."

"Why are you wishing death upon people?"

"Jack's not a person. He's a twat," Finn spoke up, holding his hand out so Ana could stand up.

"First thing you've gotten right in the three years I've known you," the girl joked earning a shove from the younger boy.

"Are you two and you if you want staying at mine then since twatface is back?" she asked the three boys who nodded, except Michael. "I don't bite you know, Pol will be fine with it."

"Do you really think it's wise, with Jack?"

"It's fine, he won't try anything, he'll probably stay at the Garrison all night," she reassured him.

"Alright then," he nodded and the four made their way to Ana's.
