Being the daughter of Anthony Ivo had never been easy, but it turned Gemma's world upside down when he used technology meant to do good to attempt to take down the Justice League. Forever known as the daughter of a criminal and in charge of a company close to ruin Gemma learns more about her father's projects and his connection to Victoria Kord.

Determined to be known as more than the daughter of a mad scientist Gemma reaches out to Jenny Kord to put a stop to what her father and Jenny's aunt had been working on together. Little does Gemma expect that she will cross roads again from a boy from her childhood and join his journey in becoming a superhero.

Author's Note: Like always I can never resist a good Dc fantic and I especially couldn't ignore Blue Beetle. I can say I have never related so much to a superhero movie and as a Mexican I loved this film. There is nothing more beautiful than seeing your culture representation in such a loving and respectful way. As those of you read my stories know I always focus on my characters being Latino, because I want to have that representation in my writing so it's amazing to see it on the big screen now. This story will definitely be a lot of fun and I just already love Jaime and Gemma. We all love some good angst and although I usually have all the male love interest be the first to fall I decided to shake things up a bit and have my OC be the one who falls first. I hope you all enjoy.
