3 Fears: Being stranded in the middle of nowhere, locking myself out of the house, tapeworms
Turn ons: Someone cooking for me, surprise back rubs, little gestures like bringing home flowers or fancy chocolate for no reason
Turn offs: Rudeness, lacking a sense of humor, bad hygiene
Something you really, really want: Those rare fleeting moments of 'Me' Time
Most embarrassing moment: I discovered I couldn't read while using exercise equipment when I trip and painfully face planted on the elliptical at my gym. Yeah, they remember me very well.
Favorite Dish: Sushi, especially salmon rolls
Hobbies: Video Games, I enjoy mmorpg's. I have spent many years at the altar of Warcraft
Strange/Hidden Talent: I can play the viola
Role Model: Stephen King, the genre king

Best place you have ever been to: Quebec City, Canada
What makes you happy? A cup of coffee, all to myself, after I put the kids on the school bus.
What was your scariest experience? I used to bring my eldest to work with me at a book store. One time while helping a customer, he bolted out the back door and wandered down the street. A couple ladies on a walk found him, nabbed him and held him until I got there. Utterly terrifying.
What was the nicest thing said about you? That I have a fantastic sense of humor.
The Pope is having dinner at your place, what would you cook for him? Shepherd's Pie
When was the last time you flirted on someone? College, with my future husband. I was super awkward but he found it adorable.
How much time do you spend in a bathroom? Depends how good the book is.
You have two choices for a lifetime partner. Ryan Gosling or Chris Evans. Who would you pick and why? I rebel in the name of Joseph Gordon Levitt. The man is a creative force to be reckoned with and would be an ideal partner in crime.
The worst thing you did for love? The best? The worst was staying in a relationship too long because I was afraid to hurt the other person by breaking it off. The best was for three years, I'd drive six hours one way just to spend a weekend with my future husband during college.
The most beautiful people in your opinion? Mothers. Exhausted, frazzled, even covered in questionable substances from being up all night with a newborn, they are the most beautiful people I've ever seen.
The most expensive thing you bought for yourself? My laptop, aka Precious
If you were a fictional character, who would you be? Sophie Hatter from Howl's Moving Castle. I am a slight curmudgeon, I often talk to myself and to inanimate objects like they will talk back, and I do love a hot wizard.
What's your favorite story you've written? Why? Zombies vs Aliens. I based the main character off my best friend, so it was a ton of fun to write and the humor between us transfers well on the page.
Message to readers and followers: Thank you for your support, patience, and love of reading. Writing is a though gig, and there are days where it is hard to keep going, days where a passing comment of love is a life line. The support and encouragement in this community is incredible.
