Do you have a finished story sitting around? Trying to figure out where and how to begin the next step? A good jump point is participating in the Pitch Events hosted on Twitter. This coming March 23rd is a new #pitmad. The event brings together agents and publishers who look for one line concepts (140 characters) that grab their attention. A like from either sets you up with a chance to query your piece. 

Pitmad events are an excellent way to connect with other writers, see what agents are actively looking for manuscripts and check out the bevy of medium and smaller publishing houses out there. They are also challenging. Presenting your romantic manuscript idea in 140 characters can be tricky!
