Everyone loves a good love song! Songs of first love, first kisses, heartbreak and excitement. There is no shortage of inspiring tales set to music, which ultimately has inspired our latest contest!

LOVE SONG ONE SHOTS!

The CHALLENGE

Write a romance one shot based on a love song of your choice! You can include lyrics, references, or set the exact song story to your own characters interactions. Show us your creativity, your interpretation of the song, and how you merge them together!

The RULES

1) Your story must be flash-fiction, meaning 1000 words or less. Yes, we will be checking!

2) There is no word minimum, but you have to make us see the connection between the story and the song.

3) You MUST include the song title and artist at the top of your entry. Credit must be given, or the entry will be disqualified.

4) Entries will be accepted between June 14 – 28 only.

5) To submit, post your story on your profile with the hash tag #WPSLoveSongContest. ALSO be sure you put a link in the comments of THIS page for our judges to review your story!
