Emmett Sparks' POV:

The day to perform comes too soon...

I've been practicing with Lia for quite some time today morning, and we were soon satisfied.

I look at my watch. It's nearly time to leave.

"Ely, you ready?" I yell as I knock on her door.

No reply.

"Ely?" I yell again.

"Em, why the hell are you yelling there?" Ely asks from behind me.

I whip around to see that she's already ready.

"Well, I thought you- never mind, let's leave..." I say.

Ely laughs and sprints down the stairs.

I mock her by imitating her laugh and then sprinting down the stairs the way she did, or at least trying, and then, for all my trouble, end up tripping and crash into Ely, who just manages to retain her balance.

"Hopeless..." she says, out of breath.

I shrug in response.

We catch our breath and walk out the door, where Lia's standing, impatiently tapping her foot.

"Right on time!" she says, sarcastically.

I apologise and explain that I crashed into Ely, making Lia laugh loudly.

We walk, or rather, I walk, but Ely and Lia sprint, much ahead of me.

"Guys, slow down!" I yell.

I don't even know how they're walking without falling, let alone sprinting, in their heels, Lia in her purple heels to go with her purple top over her black jeans and Ely in her black heels to match her black band t-shirt with her blue three-fourth jeans.

"Is he always this slow?" Lia asks Ely as they pause to let me catch up.

"You tell me, sister!" says Ely.

I sigh, too tired to roll my eyes. When I finally catch up to them, they start sprinting again.

"Guys, come on!" I yell.

They turn around and Lia says, "Emmett, you do know the address don't you?"

I nod.

Ely looks at Lia and continues, "So, Em, you reach there comfortably while Lia and I run there. Deal?"

I sigh and nod.

Lia and Ely smile and high-five each other.

"See you later!" Lia says, as they start running!

Running, mind you, not sprinting!

Still amazed at these two, I keep walking at my own pace.

I finally reach the place and walk in.

"Hey, Emmett!" Ely and Lia say on cue, as if they've been practicing.

Rina laughs aloud at this.

I just roll my eyes at them and walk to Nicola, talking about my performance today.

Soon, it's time for us to perform...

Oliver and Cassie begin, and, all too soon, it's my time to perform.

I walk up onto the stage nervously and begin performing a remixed version of 'Love Story' by Taylor Swift, with heavy metal-infused beats in the background...

I close my eyes and the flashback starts:

I walk off the stage, stunned that Nicola, Rina and half the audience are on their feet while everyone's clapping...

I wander around the green room, until someone taps my shoulder. I turn around to see Lia, who tells me that Ely's performing now.

I run out and stand behind the audience, watching as Ely walks up on to the stage...

There's some confusion all around when she brings out a box-like instrument.

I look to Lia with confusion.

She notices and tells me, "It's the instrument cajon..."

Many people in the audience start realizing this and start cheering her on.

Ely, now beaming from the cheers, settles down and starts playing the cajon.

She starts singing 'Best Song Ever' by One Direction- making it possibly the best improvisation of a popular song today!
