EPISODE NINE
the gate.

STEVE LOOKED at the two girls and then immediately went to the front door, stepping out. the group watched nervously through the window as lucas and nova's hands were linked, slightly shaking in fear.

steve and billy were having a conversation, billy seemed to be getting angrier by the second, and then he pointed over to the window looking directly at them as they all jumped down, "shit! did he see us?"

"of course he fucking did!"

the door bursted open, and billy walked in, as they stared at him with wide eyes, "well, well, well." billy spoke, slamming the door. "lucas sinclair. what a surprise."

"i thought i told you to stay away from him." billy looked over at nova and then at max.

"billy, go away." max glared.

"you disobeyed me." billy continued, "and you know what happens when you disobey me...i break things." he launched at lucas and grabbed his collar as the groups screamed at him to stop.

"billy let him go!" nova yelled in fear, unsure of what to do.

"get off of mebl lucas exclaimed, trying to get out of billy's grip.

"since nova won't listen to me, maybe you will. you stay away from them. stay away from her! you hear me?" billy yelled in his face as the group watched with wide eyes.

"said get off me!" lucas yelled, kicking billy where it hurt the most.

"you are so dead, sinclair! you're dead." billy exclaimed as steve snuck up behind him,

"no, you are." he swung at billy's jaw.

billy laughed manically as nova ran over to lucas and brought him in for a hug, moving away from billy and steve as lucas held onto her. "are you okay? shit, i'm sorry, lucas." she whispered.

"haha! looks like you've got some fire in you after all! i've been waiting to meet this king steve everybody's been telling me so much about." billy laughed.

steve calmly pushed billy away, "get out."

billy smiled and then threw a punch to steve, who luckily ducked it and then punched billy as the group, mainly dustin, cheered steve on.

"yes! kick his ass, steve!" dustin screamed. "get him!"

"murder the son of a bitch!" dustin yelled as nova couldn't help but frown watching the fight, "get that shithead!" mike yelled.

the two fought for a moment, and then billy smashed a plate over steve's head as everyone winced, "billy! stop it." max exclaimed.

steve was loosing the fight now, as billy grabbed him, "no one tells me what to do!" he kicked steve down as he began to throw punches as everyone watched.

"you're gonna kill him! stop!"

max and nova shared a look as everyone screamed loudly in fear. max grabbed the syringe and they walked up behind him and injected him with the stuff they used to sedate will.

everyone gasped as billy turned around, taking it out with a grunt, "the hell is this?" he asked, "you little shits, what did you do?" billy exclaimed, his vision going blurry as he fell to the floor.

he started laughing loudly as max grabbed the nail bat from the floor, and raised it up in the air, but nova held her hand out to stop her. "you're gonna go home and never ever tell me or max what to do again, and never going to come near me or my friends. you understand?" she snapped as max raised the nail bat.

"screw you both." billy mumbled as max slammed the bat in between his legs.

"do you understand? say it. say it!" nova yelled, getting deja vu from when he was yelling at her in the car on halloween.

"i...understand." he mumbled, but it was barely audioble.

"what?" max then yelled, not moving the bat which was aimed at him.

"i understand." billy chocked out.

nova nodded and max dropped the bat as nova took the keys out of his pocket, and looked at him. "plus, your hair is greasy." she snapped, and then looked at the group.

"c'mon. let's go." she twirled the keys around as max followed, the boys soon following as well.

they got steve in the back with max, mike and dustin whilst lucas sat in the front and read directions. the others wanted to leave steve behind because they knew he wouldn't be okay with nova driving, however dustin manages to convince him.

after about ten minutes, steve woke up, mistaking mike for nancy, and then was mumbling about what was going on as dustin hushed him like a baby.

"okay, you're gonna keep straight for half a mile, then make a left on mount sinai." lucas read out as nova nodded.

"what's going on? oh, my god!" he noticed it was nova driving the car and began to panic.

"just relax. she's driven billy's car before." dustin hushed him.

"they were gonna leave you behind, i had to get you. i promised that you'd be cool, okay?" dustin yelled over steve's protests.

"woah! woah! why are we speeding! help!" steve yelled as nova put her foot down, "noo! stop the car! slow down!"

"i told you he'd freak out!" mike exclaimed.

"stop the car!" steve shrieked.

"everybody shut up! i'm trying to focus!" nova exclaimed.

"oh, wait! that's mount sinai! make a left!" lucas shrieked like a girl.

"what?" she exclaimed.

"a left! now!"

steve and lucas screamed girly screams as they bumped into a sign and sped up a hill. "jesus!" max exclaimed.

they finally arrived, stopping right at the edge as steve screamed. "woah hello!"

"incredible." mike nodded, "woah!" dustin yelled.

"c'mon." max spoke as they got out, steve falling out the window as they all put their gear on.

"oh, no. guys.." steve mumbled. mike walked away with the gasoline as steve jumped, "hey! where do you think you're going?"

"what are you, deaf? hello?" he exclaimed. "we are not going down there right now! i made myself clear." steve yelled. "hey! there's no chance we're going to that hole, all right?"

"this ends now!"

"steve!" dustin screamed, steve looked at him, "you're upset i get it. but the bottom line is, a party member requires assistance, and it is our duty to provide that assistance." dustin began as steve looked around the place.

"now, i know you promised nance that you would keep us safe...so keep us safe."

i've decided i definitely WILL be writing season 4 for this fic :)) nova fits the plot so much for it.
