Kaldur was not sure exactly where to continue. The Team was not back yet, and he had much to do research-wise to figure out who Current was, yet, he couldn't go alone. Tula came up beside him, and asked, "Have you gotten anywhere yet?" Kaldur responded, "Yes, but it leads back to Atlantis. The blood on the wall, the one with the odd script, belongs to one of our King's guards, a man by the name of Current. Do you know who that is?" Tula thought for a moment, before her eyes lit up with a calm eagerness. She said, "Yes, I know who you are speaking of, Kaldur. Current is a close friend of King Arthur. I met him, when Queen Mera said he was going to be doing training sessions with Garth and I, since she was with child.  He is supposed to be with King Arthur, or at the training circle, but I have not gotten to be near the palace, since I have been preparing. Do you suspect him?" Kaldur answered, "I do not. He is the only one with answers of where my mom is, and who my father truly is, and I am not sure what kind of a man he is yet. I must figure that out, before I make assumptions." Kaldur sighed, and stared at the information in front of him. He had to find this man; he was the only link to anything new. 

Later that day, when Tula wasn't looking, Kaldur went back to Atlantis. When he arrived, he swam to the palace, as usual. Greeting the guards stationed, he entered and went to King Arthur, who was cradling the young prince. Kaldur entered the room, and asked, "My King, may I ask you something that is quite urgent?" King Arthur responded, looking up, "Of course, Kaldur 'ahm. You may speak. What is on your mind?" Kaldur asked, "My King, do you know who Current is?" King Arthur said, "Yes, I do indeed know Current. I believe he's in the sea garden with his young love." "Thank you, my King.", Kaldur said, confused, as he swam back out. 

Going to the sea garden, Kaldur looked, and saw a tall, blonde haired, muscular man with seafoam green eyes, like his, swimming. With him, was a woman with sparkling grey eyes and deep blue hair. Kaldur went closer, and asked, "Excuse me, are you Current?" The man responded, surprised, "Why yes, I am. And I think I know who you are as well. You are Kaldur 'ahm, am I right? King Arthur speaks well of you." Kaldur said, "Yes. Thank you. I hate to be a bother, but I need some aid. You see, my mother has gone missing, and there is something wrong happening. I need to find her, and I found evidence that you may have been around, when she went missing. Do you know where she might be?" Current said, with urgency in his eyes, as he looked the teen over, "Come with me." He then turned to the woman, and said, "Excuse me, I have some business to attend to." The woman nodded, as if understanding, then swam off, leaving Current and Kaldur in the garden. When she was gone, Kaldur asked, "What was that all about?" Current said, "Kaldur 'ahm, I do not wish to alarm you, but your mother... She is my sister."

Kaldur heard the words Current said to him, fade into his mind, as he thought. This man was kidding, right? He was his...what?! Blinking, Kaldur asked again, hoping for clarity, "I am sorry, but would you please repeat that?" Current said, "I am your mother's brother. Kaldur, I am your uncle." For the first time, Kaldur gasped for air, stunned that his uncle, the one his mother had told him about, but he had never met, was watching him, and was right in front of him. Current said, "I know you must be really surprised by this news, Kaldur. Your mother wanted us to meet, but she was afraid that you would begin to link things up. She was afraid my position would be discovered, and I would be killed. And she was afraid your father would find out, and come looking for you." Kaldur asked, "Where were you prior to being here in Atlantis? Tula told me you just arrived." Current sighed, and said, "I was undercover on Black Manta's ship, serving as a guard and commander for him. I was merely there to gather intel, for King Arthur, about Manta's whereabouts and plans. It was a job he told me to take, so I could serve him, and keep Atlantis safe...for you and your mother." 

Still utterly stunned by all the news, Kaldur couldn't speak. He swallowed, and said, "All of those times she told me about you... you were on Black Manta's crew, doing those raids, and killing?" Current responded, "Yes, I was on those raids, Kaldur, but I assure you, I have never killed a man, and I certainly would not ever do so to anyone. I just pretended to act the way I did, to gain Manta's trust. When a man has to go undercover, he will do all he can to keep his true identity hidden, including acting the part." Kaldur said, "I understand, but I also need more information, to stop the threat over my Team's and mine heads." Current suggested, "Why don't you take me back to land with you? I have yet to see the ocean from above the water, and I could help you stop this threat." Nodding, Kaldur agreed for it, even though he was strangely still confused as to why everything was happening now. He just hoped Current was true in what he said, as he was opening up everything, and trusting this man, who claimed to be his family. Together, they went to the Zeta-tube, and arrived back at the Cave, just in time to do more work.

Over an hour later, after eating, Kaldur and Current were starting to look over the files on what had gone wrong. Kaldur said, "I do not wish to be rude, but I must know if you are honest." Current responded, grabbing a needle, and poking it into a vein, then drawing out blood, "Run a blood and genetic analysis on me. That is the only way to be sure we are a match." Kaldur questionably took the sample, and ran it against the blood he had found at the scene. They were the exact same. He said, "Ours are a match." Current smiled, and said, "Now that you know I'm telling the truth, we must find your mother." Kaldur nodded, and they began to peel over every bit of information gathered about the events. It was going to be a long night.
