𝟎𝟎𝟑. night swims & fist fights

After dinner, Alianna helped with the dishes and cleaning up. Once she finished she went up to her room, as she walked up the stairs she could hear Steven screaming at the top of his lungs.

His singing wasn't.. the best, Alianna walked over to the bathroom, and opened the door. Luckily, no one in sight was naked but Steven was in the shower and Jere was brushing his teeth.

"Can you pretty please shut up, not to be rude but you sound like a dying cat." The girl peeped her head through the door.

"Hey! Hey! Get out of here!" Steven opened the door, "Go away!" he shooed her away, and as she walked off she heard him continue the awful singing now with Jeremiah.

"God!" Alianna yelled out with frustration.

She made it back to her room and fell onto the bed. She had changed back into her bikini for a night swim to clear her head, that's what Alianna usually likes to do on the first night.

She walked down stairs and saw laurel sitting down on the couch, she was on her phone looking up a writer on instagram.

As Alianna walked past Laurel had noticed her, "Hey, how much is a lot of followers on Instagram?" she asked Alianna.

"Uhm 100k?" The girl guessed, she honestly wasn't up for a chat.

"Okay, thanks sweetie."

Alianna walked off and headed towards the pool. She didn't realise that Belly and Conrad were already outside.

"Hi, guys." She chirped happily as she put her towel down on a sun chair. She slowly walked from the stairs into the cold water.

Alianna caught a glimpse of Belly staring at her before she dived in. She swam back up to the surface before swimming around.

As she swam, she had noticed that Conrad was smoking. "I thought you said smoking pot changes the way your brain processes?"

The girl said sarcastically with a smile, knowing that quoting him would really annoy him.

"So does your self phone." He said not noticing the sarcasm Alianna had, he blew the smoke out of his mouth.

"Your the one who said that real athletes don't put shit in their bodies." She replied as she let her body float in the water.

"I said a lot of stuff." he said, "And I'm not an athlete anymore."

"I still think you should quit." Alianna smiled at him.

"What will give me if a do." he blew out the smoke, giving her a smirk.

God, why did he have to be so cute when he said that Alianna couldn't help but think to herself.

"I don't know what do you want?" She swam away, Alianna had totally forgot that Belly was in the pool with them.

She was basically like a shadow.

"Why do you want to do this debutante thing?" he asked Alianna while staring into her eyes.

"Reminds me of being a princess." Alianna beamed.

"It's just.. it's not you." he told her, looking away.

"Why are you acting so different!" Belly spoke up, making Conrad shake his head.

"I'm not."

"If somethings wrong, you can tell me." Belly insisted, but Conrad still wasn't not looking at anyone.

"Look." Conrad began to speak but was interrupted.

The door opened, Jeremiah and Steven entered outside and were laughing.

"Who's ready to par-tay! Whoop! Whoop!" Steven cheered out, making Belly's face change.

"Wait, what party?" she asked the boys.

Conrad stubbed his cigarette out, and got out of the pool.

"Guys, don't ignore me!" Belly jumped out of the pool, trying to chase after them.

"The mom's are getting ready for movie night."

Jeremiah told Belly, but she wasn't too thrilled on the idea of going to movie night instead of party out all night .

"Have fun with the Mom's!!" Steven cackled as the boys left.

"I'm going inside now." Alianna notified Belly as she walked out of the pool over to the girl.

Alianna wrapped her towel around her body, "Bells?"

Belly ignored her and went back into the water. "Sure, Ali. I'll meet you inside." She whispered to herself before leaving to go back inside.

The Mom's were getting ready for the movie, they made food like do every night one, another tradition.

"Hey baby, can you put the dvd in?" Natlaie asked her daughter as she stirred the brownie mixture.

"Sure thing." Alianna told her going over to tv. Belly eventually came inside and saw that they were all busy doing something.

"Do we have to watch It Happened One Night." Belly asked the mom's.

"But we always watch that movie on the first night?" Laurel frowned at her daughter.

Susannah gave other movie ideas but Belly obviously didn't want to watch them.

"Everything okay?" Natalie asked Belly while licking the brownie batter covered wooden spoon.

Belly began to fake yawn, "Yeah, no I'm just really tired. I might skip the movie and go to bed."

"Yeah, sure sweetie. We can do these another night." Susannah smiled as Belly walked off upstairs.

"I'll go check on her." Alianna told the mom's following after Belly upstairs.

As she was about to go into Belly's room, she overheard Belly talking about what happened in the pool. She was saying how she and Conrad almost had a moment but Alianna had to go and ruin it.

Alianna assumed Belly was on the phone with Taylor but it was hard for her to tell.

She mentioned how Jeremiah and Steven came down to the pool, and how they were going to a bonfire party down at the beach. Taylor encouraged Belly to go down to the beach.

Belly had brought up that earlier at the store, how she talked to this one guy who asked her to come. Taylor finally convinced Belly to go and how Taylor snuck something into Belly's suitcase.

It was a pink dress that was definitely out of Belly's comfort zone, Alianna's eyes widened as she looked at it. The girl quickly left to go to her room.

Alianna thought that if Belly wanted to go, so should she.

Alianna looked at my self in the mirror after getting changed into something more appropriate for a party, and was satisfied with how it turned out.

She went downstairs and knew she had to be quiet so the mom's wouldn't notice her.

She made it out of the house unnoticed and spotted Belly walking down the same path as her.

The girl ran up to her, "Hey!" Alianna sang as she wrapped an arm around her shoulder. "Your dress looks nice." She added.

"Thanks," she half smiled — the party could be heard from where they were.

"Hey, are you okay?" Alianna asked Belly as they kept walking.

"Yep," she had no enthusiasm in her voice.

"Okay.."

The guy from the store earlier had noticed them and ran over.

"You came!" he went up to Belly. "Here you go."

He tried to hand Belly his beer, but she declined. "No thanks," she pushed the bottle away.

"That's cool, cool," he tried to play it off.

Steven spotted them — he was more mad at Belly and didn't really care about Alianna being there but was still annoyed.

Alianna noticed the girl who was with him. "Oh my god? Are you Shayla? I follow you on Instagram!" she told the girl.

Shayla smiled at her. "Oh thanks,"

"I love your posts," Alianna complimented her.

After that, the night was a blur. Jere had seen Alianna and ran over to her.

"Hey, didn't realize you'd come?" he hugged her, making the girls he was talking to jealous.

"Oh yeah? Belly came, so I thought why not," she told him, hugging him back.

"Jeremiah!" one of the girls shouted at him.

"Shoot, uhm, I'll be back, just wait here." He ran off to the girls and walked over to a much more quiet spot on the beach.

Jeremiah made his way over to where Alianna was and sat down next to her. The waves crashed into one another — the sound was peaceful and calm.

They both stayed silent for a few minutes until Jeremiah spoke up. "I missed you," he said, looking at her.

"I missed you too," she told him, looking back at him.

Her knees were against her chest, and her arms hugged her legs. In a blink, the two were making out.

His hand was caressing her face and Alianna's hands traveled through his hair. She had always felt comfortable whenever she was with Jeremiah.

They were soon interrupted by a bunch of people yelling, and Alianna pulled apart from Jeremiah to see what was going on.

Somehow, Conrad was in a fight, Belly was on the ground, and everyone was arguing.

"Run!" someone shouted.

The cops had shown up, and everyone ran.

Alianna ran over and tried to help Belly up, but Belly pushed her away.

Alianna and Jeremiah ran to his car. "Stay here," he told her as she got in and saw Conrad sitting there, choosing to sit next to him.

"What happened out there?" she asked him, but he looked out the window, ignoring her.

"Fine," she replied, looking out her window as well. "Be like that."

Belly got into the car, followed by Jeremiah.

"Okay, is everyone—fuck, I forgot Steven!" he cursed, getting out of the car. "Stay here," he told everyone and ran off.

The cops shined their lights through the car, and that's when they knew they were in trouble. They got back home, and Laurel was furious. After she yelled at everyone, they all went to bed, and Alianna fell asleep quickly after a long day.

She still couldn't believe what had happened at the beach with Jeremiah.
