03 :: Eating Buns In The Halls & Kicking Kacchan In The Balls

Here we can see the author just going nuts with her chapter titles. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

⋆ ---––——––------––——––--- ⋆

〚 First Person POV 〛

Can you die from dehydration? You can, right? Because I'm seriously concerned for Izuku's well-being right now.

I sat criss-crossed on the ground, facing my childhood friend and smiling awkwardly as all the boy did for the past 10 minutes is produce tears and snot like it's no one's business. I wanted to hug and comfort the curly-haired ball of sunshine but I was afraid he'd actually collapse on the spot if I as much as touch him.

"Izu-kun... It's alright. You can calm down now...", I said, very gently putting a hand on his shoulder and using the nickname I made for him in hopes it would calm him down even a bit.

It fucking didn't.

The moment he heard the old nickname I gave him way back when we were little, big forest green eyes gloss up almost immediately and his lips started to quiver again. His cheeks were already tear stained and his nose had a little something dripping off it.

But to be completely honest... how can someone look disgusting and cute at the same time? Izuku looks like a little kid who got their candy taken or something.

While I, on the other hand, swear I remind people of a double-chinned asthmatic walrus when I cry.

"Okay, okay! That's it! No more crying, you adorable mofo!", I finally exclaimed, taking out my handkerchief and kneeling closer to Izuku. It was a good thing I dragged his ass here in the rooftop of else we would be everyone's 'To Watch' at the cafeteria. I cupped his cheeks in one hand, earning a stunned expression and a heavy blush from the soft-hearted male. I then proceeded to wipe his face dry, going as far as pinching his nose and saying "Blow.".

The green-haired boy was about to protest until I sent him a glare, placing my knee right between his thighs, dangerously close to his crotch. "Blow or I swear I'll make sure you'll never have the chance to become a baby daddy."

In fear of getting his genitalia squashed, Izuku eventually and very embarrassingly blew his nose into the cloth. I nodded in approval and gave the handkerchief to him, sitting back on my original spot.

Silence enveloped us for a moment as I watched Izuku take deep breaths to quiet down his sobs. He let out a hiccup which made me chuckle.

"You haven't changed at all, Izu-kun...I'm glad.", I sighed, smiling softly. My gaze fell on my lap, a warm and nostalgic feeling inside my chest. Words fall out so naturally, the comfort of being here again creating a sense of reassurance and safety that I haven't felt in a long time. I sighed, looking at my childhood best friend.

"I've missed you."

We met eyes and I instantly wrapped my arms around Izuku, catching him off guard. Heat radiated from his cheeks as I pulled him even closer with a wide smile, my face buried in his shoulder.

His arms waved around awkwardly at first, most likely from the sudden close proximity and the obvious fact my over-sized bosoms were against his own chest. After a minute, Izuku eventually calmed down. I heard him gulp and try to choke down another wave of tears, cautiously hugging back and holding onto the back of my shirt with a tight grip.

"I-I've missed you, too...", he sobbed into my shoulder, the wetness of tears soaking into the fabric of ny uniform. I smiled softly, lowering my head and closing my eyes when they started to become hazy as well. "Xan-chan..."

The warmth of his embrace felt so nostalgic. Welcoming. A simple hug helped bring back great memories, reminding me of the many things I've been longing for during the years I was away. And now that I'm right here, in Izuku's arms, I can finally say ─

"...T-Thank you for coming back."

─ I'm home.

⋆⋆⋆

Once we were able to calm the boy's overly sensitive tear glands, Izuku and I spent what was left of Japan's short-ass lunch break catching up on the most relevant to the most random things. We talked about how the other was doing, how we missed each other and I made sure to ask a shameless question here and there.

Half of the reason why I asked those was because I wanted to break the ice created by our time spent away from each other as soon as possible. While the other half was just there to satisfy my guilty pleasure of seeing the blush spread across Izuku's freckled baby face when I asked him about his s̶e̶x̶ love life.

We were definitely taking our merry time, too engrossed in our conversation to notice that we've been here longer than necessary. Only when my gluttonous rumbling stomach made itself known did we realize we both didn't bother to eat at all. In a state of panic, I grabbed the boy by the arm and drag our asses to the cafeteria.

There's was absolutely no way in hell I'm missing my favorite part of school: LUNCH.

"Out of my way, peasants!", I yelled out, pushing my damn way through the crowded cafeteria like a bulldozer in high speed. I still held Izuku by the limb, pulling him along my war path. "We demand food!"

It all went like a blur after that statement.

Me trampling a dozen unfortunate souls on my search for food; Izuku apologizing to every single one of them who cursed out for being elbowed and stepped on by yours truly; and me shoving a week's worth of meat buns in his arms because we didn't have time to eat a proper lunch and it was the only thing we could eat while walking.

Though, despite my begging, Izuku gave back half of the meat buns, claiming we couldn't possibly eat all that in the span of 15 minutes.

Boy, was he underestimating me.

But for the sake of Izuku's dignity, I begrudgingly let him take only seven of the mountain of buns I snatched ─ five of those are mine if you're curious ─ and then we finally made our way back to class. The moment we were out of the cafeteria, we were once again chatting up a storm as we ate.

I... I really missed him. I've said it before and I'll say it over and over.

We made it to our classroom and casually stepped inside the open door, me letting out a chuckle as the male never once wavered at telling his story. Izuku was talking about this new Woody-something hero but I wasn't really focusing on his words. I took a bite of my bread as we stood by the doorway, nodding my head once in a while like I was actually listening when all I actually did was watch him.

Same curly green hair, same adorable freckled cheeks and same big green eyes that always seemed so full of wonder and innocence ─ Izuku was as much as a ray of sunshine as when we first met. Some things never change and I couldn't be happier.

"Are you two idiots going to stand there all day?! Get out of the way, nerds!"

But I guess there are things that wouldn't hurt to change.

"─AH! Kacchan...! S-Sorry!", Izuku was the first one to respond to the petulant blonde, raising his arms and immediately moving to the side to let Katsuki pass.

But it seemed that Izuku wasn't fast enough for the grouch and it pissed Katsuki off, enough for him to harshly shove the meek boy to the side. Afterwards, his shoulder rudely bumped with mine and made me stagger back, not even bothering to mutter an apology as he walked pass us. My mouth fell open at his Grade A dick attitude.

"I can't believe it...", I scoffed, glaring daggers at the back of Katsuki's spiky-haired head. "After all these years, you're still incapable of getting your own head out of your ass, hedgehog."

Katsuki immediately stopped walking and it was as if time stopped for the whole class after my bold statement, everyone snapping their wide-eyed gazes towards our direction. Their conversations? Halted. People? Stunned. Jaws? Dropped. Izuku? Panicking. Hotel? Trivago.

An uncomfortable silence enveloped the entire room. Clearly, no one expected the new girl to sass anyone on her first day, let alone the Bakugo Katsuki.

In a somewhat sadistic manner, Katsuki looked back and sent an allegedly 'scary', note the sarcasm, glare towards my direction.

"The fuck did you say, Daiya?", he growled.

Besides me, Izuku gulped out of instinct. I clicked my tongue in annoyance. It was clear as day that Izuku was still scared shitless of the idiot, confirming that Katsuki most likely never stopped being a bully towards him.

God, did it made me sick.

"You heard me, Bakugo.", I spat right back. "Or is your head so full of crap it's affecting your hearing, too?"

"Heh. Well, lookie here.", Katsuki smirked mockingly, turning to face me fully. "After three years, you were finally able to grow some fucking balls, eh, Sparks?"

"At least one of us did.", I smirked right back. "...Kacchan."

A gecko "Ooooh" echoed around the classroom, most of students more than eager to insinuate a fight instead of stopping it. Well, except for poor Izuku who was sweating by the buckets and trying to step between us. "Xan-chan! K-Kacchan! There's no need to─!"

"─You looking for a fight, welding torch?" Katsuki cut him off as we continued to bicker, raising his explosive palms. "You got it!"

I raised my chin and cracked my knuckles, my grin growing wider which didn't fail to irritate the blonde even more. "I thought you'd never ask!"

I activated my Quirk and steady blanket of flame crawled from my cufflets and engulfed my arms. At the same time, Blondie's palms started emitting smoke and small warning explosions. We both took a fighting stance and were more than ready to kick each other's ass to kingdom come.

"Xan-chan! Wait!", Izuku shrieked, grabbing my arm. "Y-You'll get in trouble for fighting and using your Quirk at school! It's you first day, too!"

"Yeah, I know!", I exclaimed. My stubborn ass didn't budge, pouting angrily and not breaking my current glare battle with cranky Goldilocks. "I'll just teach this coward who he's messing with!"

"Who are you calling a coward, bastard?!"

"You, asshole!"

"Xan-chan, please!", Izuku was practically begging at this point and my resolve started to crumble at the tone of his voice. I made a mistake of looking at his troubled expression and guilt possessed me like the devil.

"...Dammit. Fine.", I muttered, reluctantly lowering my shoulders and deactivating my Quirk. Izuku sighed in relief, still holding my arm and softly pulling me away from the scene.

However, from the corner of my eye, I saw Katsuki and he did not looked pleased at my decision. The male clicked his tongue.

"Ha! Who's the Coward now?!", he barked loudly. "Go head and listen to your Quirkless dog!"

I snapped.

Within a flash, I pulled away from Izuku, raised my right leg and kicked Katsuki's balls so hard his peepee probably retracted inside his body.

Everyone's jaw dropped to the floor and Izuku had a look of utter mortification on his face. I lowered my leg back down and glowered at the ash blonde.

To my surprise, Katsuki was still standing. Whether it was his physical prowess or his sky-high pride keeping him on his feet, I didn't really care. He was biting his lip, most likely to keep in a cry of pain even though his face and the way he was squeezing his thighs together practically screamed agony and torture.

When he was finally able to stand properly, Katsuki snapped his head up and met my livid glare with his own. "YOU'RE DEAD, BITCH!"

All hell broke lose after that.

It was absolute chaos and nobody even heard the bell ring until the next teacher walked in and found Katsuki and I having a wrestling match on the classroom floor.

"What the hell is going on here?!", the older female exclaimed. Katsuki was on his back with me above him, our limbs currently tangled as we tried to land a proper hit on the other's guts, "Bakugo! Daiya! Get off each other this instant!"

Katsuki pushed my face away with his hand as he sat up and yelled right back. "Don't fucking blame me! This idiot starte─"

CHOMP.

"─OW!", the asshole cut himself off. "What the fuck?! Did you just bite me, bitch?!"

"...No?", I replied, voice muffled by Katsuki's hand between my teeth. The ash blonde hollered like a motherfucker at my face, grabbing the back of my head and trying to pull my jaw off the side of his hand but only resulted on me biting harder and wrapping my arms around his limb.

"Get off me, you idiot!"

"Never!"

"Both of you, stop it!", the teacher exclaimed, jumping in to try and pull the our dumbasses apart but I had one hell of a grip and Katsuki's prideful ass argued that he didn't help. From the corner of my eye, I saw Izuku sweatdrop whilst students from other classes came by just to watch the scene unfold.

Then, one random student raised his arm, gathering the audience attention.

"So... Who wants to place bets?"
