Sparkface sighed, standing tall on the Outlook Rock. Her eyes softened a bit at the sight of the beautiful landscape.

Everything seemed so bright and happy; was she really going to be the one to kill it? Was she going to be the one who died that day, be the one who would kill the bright happy day?

Do I really want to leave this world? It's so full of beauty and amazing things. Will I miss the taste of the rabbits that run so fast? Or will I start to miss the Clan I wanted to protect with my life?

No, it would be better for every cat if I left this world, left to another life. I want my Clan to be proud of me, I want to protect them.

Look where that got me? It got me up on top of this rock, looking down at the world beneath my paws.

But if I leave today, and I never see any of this again, is it really worth it?

If that what it costs, I will pay. I will give back my Clan what they gave to me.

"Sparkpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code, even if it costs your life?" Sparkface murmured to herself, her heart shattering into a million pieces. She just wanted everything to end, to help her Clan.

Sparkface had a faint yet present smile on her face, knowing she would release her Clan of her. "I do!" She whispered before stepping off the edge of the rock.
