Chapter 51: Result

WINTER'S POINT OF VIEW

I was about to approach Jenny Salazar when Louiegie held my arm and shook his head. "We will approach her later, Winter. I'm scared that my sister might do something because you know that Jenny's father is the killer of Tita Fiona, right?"

I looked at Flinn, and she looks like she can really do something upon hearing that Jenny Salazar is the daughter of Richard Salazar. Louiegie went to her and caressed her back as he whispered something to her.

Rye was also worried for Flinn, but he let Louiegie to calm her. I went to Aerin. "What else do you know about her, Aerin?" I whispered.

"Aside from she's the daughter of the killer of Flinn's other Mom, she loves fights. I already saw her one day fought with five men, and I was surprised when she won. She's also a freelance model before, but she already quit," she whispered back.

I looked at her from head to toe. I can't deny that she has looks, she's pretty, but of course, I'm still prettier.

If you would base it in looks, you can't say that she's into ramble things. And you can't also say that she can kill.

But hey. Looks can be deceiving, you know? Also, don't judge the book by its cover. Sometimes, we can't really, but to judge a person by looks, and I'm admit that I'm one of those.

I judged Louiegie once, but look at him. He's not the Nerd Boy that I saw in the cafeteria before. He's not quiet. Instead, he's not and so loud just like his sister. One thing that you can't change about him, he's intelligent.

"Had you talked to her even just once before, Aerin?"

"I didn't talk to her even just once, Winter. Never. Because I'm not that friendly before until I met him," she smiled.

"Him? Hmm, she's hiding something, huh?"

"And who's that him, huh? Who did you meet first, us or him?" I raised my brow.

"Him," she simple answered. "So back to our topic. Do you think she's like her father? Do you think she knows us?"

"She can be or she can't be. There are just two choices, but I prefer the latter one. Just like what you said, she's into ramble, so I guess, she's kinda dangerous?"

"Do you want me to talk to her later? I act like I just know her father as my Dad's assistant. She won't suspect me, right?" she suggested.

From how I can see it, Aerin can really do that. But I can't underestimate what Jenny knows. I don't know if she has something up her sleeves. Maybe, she already does know us and she's just acting like she doesn't.

I diverted my gaze from Jenny to Aerin. "You can't risk yourself, Aerin. We need to plan this well because we don't know if she really doesn't know something. We don't know if she also has a plan."

"Winter, Aerin." We were startled when we heard Lauren's voice beside us. "I want you to meet Jenny Salazar. Jenny, these are Winter Schneider and Aerin Villan, my friends."

Jenny offered her hand, smiling. "Hi! Nice to meet you! I'm Jenny Salazar." She looks like a happy-go-lucky woman, but I kept in mind that she's still the daughter of Richard Salazar. That she's still the woman who Aerin told me that's into ramble and the likes.

"Winter Schneider," I faked a smile before I shook hands with her.

"Aerin Villan." Aerin also shook hands with Jenny.

"Villan? Are you the daughter of Mr. Villan who my father worked to?" he forehead twitched.

"Yeah, it's me. You already saw me before, but I guess you already forgot me, huh?"

"Unfortunately, yup, but don't worry, I won't forget you from now on. Because you're just the only one who told Winter here where is father. And you're also the reason why my father is being detained in jail right now."

Aerin's face became colorless as her smile faded. "Don't say something like that to her again if you still want to live," I told her with anger in my voice. Ha! Who is she to say that to my friend?

"Why? What can you do, Winter?"

"I can do things more than what you expected mo to do," I smirked. "I can rip your neck off, I can remove your eyeballs, I can twist your arms and legs until it fell off. I can do things like that within just a minute."

Even if she's into ramble and the like, well, sorry to disappoint her because I can still beat her. "Oh, really? You can do that? Sorry because I thought you're just a normal girl. I thought you just want to buy make-ups, do manicures, and more," she also smirked.

I rolled my eyes. "I'm not like that because I'm different from them. I'm unique, there are some things that only me can do." Her smirk faded that made my smirk wider. "Why? Are you that scared of me already? Even I didn't still do something? Nah, you're a boring woman."

"How dare you to call me a boring woman?! I'm older than you, so you should respect me!" she seems furious. Lauren was about to caress her back, but I signed her to stop.

I laughed. "Are you serious? Respect can be given to those who deserves it. And you're not one of those people who deserves to be respected."

"How dare you?!" She was about to slap me when a hand held her wrist that made her stopped.

"Don't ever slap my girl if you still want to see your father outside the jail."

I was stunned by what Louiegie said. "My girl? What is he saying? When did I become his girl, huh?"

"And who are you to threaten me? You're just a little boy, and you don't know me." She removed her hand from Louiegie's grip and slapped me.

Ouch! If I don't want someone rolling her eyes in front of me, I more don't want someone slapping me!

And this woman right here was the only one who had the guts to slap me!

I held her hand that she used to slap me and smiled at her. "You know what, Jenny? I want you to be my friend because you're kinda brave. But of course, if I want you to be my friend, you should pass my test first."

"I don'tㅡ AHHHHHH!" she didn't finish what she was about to say because I twisted her hand. After it, I got her middle finger and pulled it until it had been removed from her hand. It fell and blood started to drop from where her middle finger was placed.

I saw the reaction of the people around us, and they were all surprised by what I did. You can also read the same expression on my friends' faces, except for Lauren and Flinn.

"Why did you do that?! AHHHHH!" Jenny kept on shouting like there's no tomorrow. We heard an ambulance, and two medics entered with a stretcher. They let Jenny lie on it after she got her little middle finger.

Stretcher, seriously? It's just a finger who had been removed, not her whole hand. I rolled my eyes. They were so overreacting.

I turned to Lauren. "I'm sorry if I ruined your after-party, Lauren."

"It's okay. I know from the start that you might do that, so it's fine. By the way, what will you do now? Jenny might file a case against you."

"What case will she file? There's no case that she might file, Lauren. And don't worry, because if she will do that, she might the one who ends up in jail with her father. That will be great, right? It's like it will be their reunion," I chuckled.

"Stop chuckling, Bad Girl. You just made something that's kinda gross, and you're just chuckling? What are you? A psychopath?" Louiegie asked, looking irritated.

I stopped chuckling when I heard the word 'psychopath.' "So, what if I'm a psychopath? I only did that because of her. It's also her fault," I shrugged my shoulders

He looked at me unbelievably like I said something he didn't expect me to say. "You're unbelievable, Bad Girl. You really are."

"Get used to it because this is the girl that you like," I winked at him. "You can't do anything to change me."

"I still can and I will surely change you into a better person."

"You two are so sweet. My after-party already ended. Won't you go home now?" Lauren jested in.

We thanked Lauren before Louiegie pulled me. Rye, Ryu, Aerin and Flinn were still there. He pushed that made me went inside his car. "Argh! What are you doing? Where are you taking me?" I tried to go out, but he locked the doors.

"Just be quiet. I will take you to the hospital. We will see if Jenny is okay now after what you did," he told me while driving.

"Are you serious?" He looked at me from the mirror before nodding his head. "What?! No way!" I glared at him.

"We will just see if she's okay. After it, I will take you somewhere else." I just sighed. I can't do something to stop him, right? Argh!

He should thank me because I like him that's why I won't stop him anymore.

Wait!

What?!

Did I say I like him?!

Well, yeah. I like him already.

Maybe I'm just in denial these past few weeks.

I stared at him as he drove. "I'll melt, Bad Girl. Stop staring," he laughed, and I hit his arm. "Aww! I'm driving, Bad Girl. We might get into an accident if you don't stop." He held my two hands with his one hand while the other was driving the steering wheel.

I crossed my arms and just looked outside the window. I didn't hit him because of what he said. I hit him because of his laugh. Gosh! His laugh was hot!

Uh, what am I saying? I hate myself!

When we arrived at the hospital, we asked the nurse in charge where is Jenny Salazar. He pointed on a ward room. Louiegie thanked him before we went to the ward.

I wanted to back out when I saw the room. There were so many people there. Ten people, I guess? Jenny was the tenth one.

Louiegie went to her. "How are you, Jenny? I like to say sorry for what Winter did."

"Sorry?! That sorry can't bring back my middle finger! Ugh! Go now! I don't want to see your faces especially you, Winter!"

I rolled my eyes. "Well, the feeling is mutual. I also don't want to see your ugly face." Louiegie glared at me and he signed me to shut up, but I ignored him. "Let's just go, Louiegie. Let that woman cry for her little middle finger." I chuckled when Jenny got more furious. "Bye!"

I pulled Louiegie out of there. "What did you do, Bad Girl?"

"You heard what she said, right? She doesn't want to see our faces, so we better go now. Just take me to where the hell you will take me."

I went back to the parking lot, and he followed me. We went inside his car before he started driving. He stopped in front of a building. "We're here, Bad Girl."

"What will we do here?" my forehead twitched.

"This is the building where the polices are doing their investigation on Dad."

I looked at the building, and it's so light like there's a party inside. "Why did you bring me here, then? Flinn was the one who you should bring here, not me, Louiegie."

He sighed. "Now is the day that we will know whether Dad is an accomplice, or not. Flinn already knew about this, and she don't want to go. So, you're the one I brought here."

I went outside. "Okay, let's go. Let's see if your Dad is an accomplice, or not." I looked at him and smiled. "But don't worry because I'm sure that he's the latter one."

When we arrived on the floor where the room is, Louiegie stopped. "I think I can't do this, Bad Girl. Can we just go home for now?"

I rolled my eyes. "You have the guts to go here, but you don't have the guts to know the result of the investigation? Really, Louiegie?" I raised my brow.

He thought for a while before he sighed. "Okay, fine. Let's go." He held my arm and started walking to the direction of the only room there.

He knocked on the door, and a police opened it. "Kayo ho ba ang anak ni Mr. Kingston?"

"Yes, Sir. Can I know the result of the investigation?" I squeezed his hand when I noticed that he's uncomfortable.

"Sir, ang Dad niyo po ay inosente."
