Chapter 47: Jealous

WINTER'S POINT OF VIEW

"Ugh! You guys are so childish!" I exclaimed as I watched Flinn and her Kuya making sandcastle. After we ate our breakfast earlier, we went to our rooms to fix some of our clothes because we are going to the islands near here later.

After it, we ate our lunch before we went here to the seashore. None of us are swimming, we are just on the sand, doing our businesses.

"It's not childish, Bad Girl," Louiegie answered, still doing the sandcastle.

I rolled my eyes. "Yeah, yeah, whatever."

Flinn looked at me. "Why don't you just join us, Winter?"

"Never! I will never join you doing sandcastle. That's just for children and you two aren't children anymore. You are teenagers if you forgot."

They ignored my remarks and continued doing sandcastles. Seriously? What's wrong with them? When I turned to Rye, he's just looking at Flinn, smiling. Uh, he's really crazy with Flinn, doesn't he?

I went to Aerin who's scrolling through her phone. She looked up at me after I sat down beside her. "What are you doing here, Winter?"

"I just want to say sorry."

"Why?"

"Sorry because I almost tell them your secret. I'm not being careful about what am I saying." I looked at my toes.

"Hey, it's okay, Winter." When I looked at her, she's smiling genuinely. "I'm the one that should say sorry because you are also carrying my secret now after I told it to you. I'm sorry, Winter."

"So we are quits now, huh?" I smirked.

She shrugged her shoulders. "I guess so. By the way, do you think they got curious why did I stop you earlier? Especially Lauren?"

"It's just normal for them to get curious, Aerin. Even if I am on their position, I will get curious too," I answered.

She sighed. "I just wish that they wouldn't dig deeper anymore. They might know it before I could even say it to Lauren."

"Our friends aren't that kind of person, Aerin. Yes, they became curious, but I'm sure that they wouldn't dig deeper anymore. They will surely respect why you chose to stop me," I assured her.

We talked about some matters more before they called us. We went to our rooms and got our clothes before we went back to the seashore. There is a boat good for 10 people waiting for us.

"Sit beside me, Bad Girl." I was startled when I heard a voice whispered to me those words. Only one person is calling me by that name. I turned to Louiegie who's carrying his bag.

I raised my brow. "And why would I do that?"

"Because I say so." Before I can even complain, he pulled me to sit beside him on the boat.

The boat started moving, and we can see some fishes now. The ocean is not that deep, so we can see fishes through it. We were just quiet the whole trip toward the next island.

When we arrived, I smiled and closed my eyes as I felt the wind breeze greeted me. I suddenly felt an arm wrapped me from behind. Louiegie put his chin on my shoulder. "The view is so good here, Bad Girl. I would be glad if here's the venue when we get married."

I scoffed. "As if we are going to get married."

"We are whether you like it or not." I saw that the side of lips rose, forming a smirk.

Flinn faked a cough. "There are ants everywhere, Kuya. Don't be so sweet to Winter because she will still be badass."

I glared at her. "Yeah, I am badass that I can rip your neck whenever I like it, Flinn."

She frowned before she shut her mouth. Louiegie let go of me before we went to the place where we will stay until tomorrow morning.

It was a big cabin. We occupied two rooms again, for girls and boys. It's near sunset when we ate our dinner. After we ate, we went to the seashore to watch the sunset.

"It's so gorgeous," Louiegie said. I looked at him, and I was surprised when he's just looking at me. "You're so gorgeous, Bad Girl," he smiled. I felt my cheeks blushed because of it! I was about to stand up when I felt fingers being intertwined with mine. "Stay, or you will miss the whole sunset."

I rolled my eyes. "Let go of my hand, Louiegie."

"How can I let go if you are holding it tightly?" he smirked. I looked at our hands, and he's right! I was really holding it tightly. I immediately loosen it, and stood up before walking away from him.

I can still hear him calling me. I stumble with the little stone, and before my body can even touch the sand, someone grabbed my arm and locked me with his arms.

"I was wrong about what I told you earlier, Bad Girl. Because I'm the one who's holding to it tightly." I suddenly felt like it has a double meaning! "I'm holding to it tightly that I'm scared when you started to loosen it up." His voice is really serious and sincere!

And by that simple words of him, I felt my heart started to beat fast!

"W-What are you talking about, L-Louiegie?" I stuttered.

He faced me and smiled. "Nothing. Just forget about it. Let's go back to the now." He held my wrist.

When we went back, they are still there. "Where did you two go, Winter?" Lauren asked.

I shook my head. "Just somewhere, Lauren." With that answer of mine, they started teasing us.

Flinn went to her brother. "You are doing progress, Kuya, huh?" she smirked, but the latter just ruffled Flinn's hair. She pouted. "Stop that, Kuya!"

I rolled my eyes. "Just stop that, Loueigie," I whispered to him before he stopped ruffling his sister's hair.

"Let's swim now," Lauren suggested. I was about to say something when she spoke again. "Night swimming, Winter."

"Yeah, whatever," I said, rolling my eyes.

Louiegie let go of me before he went to the boys. The girls started to remove their clothes and left one-piece bikinis while the boys started to take off their shirts.

I was stunned when I saw Louiegie after he took off his shirt. Sh*t! He has abs!

Uh, what am I saying again? I never did talk about abs because I don't care until now.

I didn't take off my clothes because I'm still not going to swim. I sat on the sand and started scrolling through my phone.

"Argh! There is no connection here!" I whispered to myself, getting irritated. I started to walk around when I suddenly bumped into someone. We both fell, and when I looked at who I bumped with, I just rolled my eyes.

I'm not expecting to see her here. She is still wearing the thing that only pirates wear.

"Winter?!"

She looked shocked to see me, huh?

"Yeah, that's my name. I didn't expect to see you here, Angela." I stood up, and so as she.

"I didn't still forget what happened at the last time that we've seen each other." So she's not yet over with it, huh?

I rolled my eyes. "Then, don't forget it. I don't care."

"Whatever." She roamed around her gaze, and it stopped on my friends' direction. "You are with your friends, Winter?" And when did she care about me being with my friends?

"Yeah, and so what?"

She shook her head. "Nothing. I just thought that you are alone here."

"And how about you? Are you alone here?"

"Since when did you care, Winter?" she raised her brow, and God knows how much I want to remove her brow, but I stopped myself.

"I don't care about you. I care about your company if ever you have one because she or he might be irritated by your presence. I pity her, or him," I smirked.

Her facial expression became colorless before she smirked. "So, you pity my mother?"

"Oh, Angie Anderson? Why not? I can pity anyone, and of course, you're not on my list because you don't deserve to be pitied. "She threw tantrums, and uh, she seems, out of her mind. I winced. "You are not a child, so please, don't throw tantrums, Angela."

She darted a glare at me. "I'm not throwing tantrums because of you!" She looked at my back and pouted now. Seriously, is she really out of her mind now?

I looked at where is she looking at, and I saw her Mom there, Angie Anderson. She went to us and bowed in front of me. "Magandang gabi po sa inyo, Ms. Schneider," she greeted.

"And what are you doing here with your daughter?" I raised my brow.

"Nagbabakasyon lamang po kami, atㅡ"

"Umalis na tayo, Ma," Angela cut her Mom. She pulled her Mom's arm and went nowhere.

I continued finding a signal, and luckily, I found a signal near where am I a while ago. I'm scrolling through my phone when Flinn called me. Oh, it's been an hour since I started scrolling through my phone.

She's not on the beach anymore when I went to her. "What do you want, Flinn?" I asked her.

"I don't want to swim anymore," she pouted.

"And so?"

"Argh! I don't want to swim anymore because there is a leech!"

"What?! Where's the leech?!" I exclaimed. Uh, I don't want leeches.

She rolled her eyes because of my reaction. "There is a leech beside Kuya, beside your future husband."

I looked at where Louiegie is, and I suddenly became furious when I saw him with another girl. Yes, he's with another girl! And guess who is she?

"I told you, there is a leech. And it's Angela Anderson," Flinn said, sighing. "But why is that girl here?"

I rolled my eyes, trying to suppress myself from going there, and pull Angela's hair. "I saw her an hour ago with her Mom. The latter told me that they are on a vacation." I looked back at Flinn. "Is this the only reason why don't you want to swim anymore? Because of that leech?"

"Oh, you also called her leech, huh?" she smirked. "But to answer your question, I don't want to swim anymore because of two reasons. First, because of that leech clinging to Kuya. Second, because it's getting cold." She also acted like she was so cold.

"Then go to the cabin," I suggested, rolling my eyes.

"Yeah, right." She went to the cabin while I stayed there.

I looked again at Louiegie and Angela. His arm was wrapped to Angela's waist and it made me want to break his arm!

I was just staringㅡno, glaringㅡat them until Louiegie looked at me that made me divert my gaze away from them. I didn't notice that he's in front of me already, Angela still on his side.

I looked up at him, raising my brow. "What are you two doing here?"

"I came here for you," Louiegie answered.

I rolled my eyes. "Oh, come on, you're not here for me because you're definitely here for that leech."

"Who's a leech?"

"Nevermind. So why are you two really here? You seem to enjoy each other's company while your arm is wrapped to her waist." Wait, I'm not sounding bitter, right?

He removed his hand. "Is that now okay for you, my future wife?"

"It will never be because you already wrapped your arm even if we say that you removed it now." Uh, what the hell am I saying?

He whispered something to Angela before the latter went out of our sight. He was about to touch me when I started walking away from him.

"Wait!" he shouted, but I just ignored him. I'm angry right now, and I don't know why! "Winter! Bad Girl! Future wife!" He already called me using those three names, but I still ignored him.

When he reached me, he pulled my arm. "What now, Louiegie?"

He caught his breath first before he spoke. "Are you jealous?"

I was astonished by his question, but I was more astonished because of the answer that came out from my mouth. "Yes! I'm jealous!"
