"We've perfect the average round, Winter," Louiegie said after they showed us our final sore for average round.

I rolled my eyes. "We're not the only one who have perfect the average round, so it means it's just easy."

Just like before the average round started, the emcee gave us 10 minutes break before the difficult round starts. I looked at Aerin when I noticed that she's just simply looking at Lauren and sometimes, laughing. 

I sat on the seat beside hers. "Don't just look at her if you don't want your secret to be revealed," I whispered to her that made her startled. 

"Okay," she smiled. 

"I don't really get why Rye told me that he still loves me even if he already cheated," Flinn said after Louiegie went to the restroom.

I looked at her. "He told it to you?" She nodded. Oh, so Rye really told it to her when I told him that I won't said it to Flinn. I smirked. "Maybe, he still really loves you. It doesn't mean that he don't loves you anymore after he cheated on you."

"Yeah, yeah. Anyway, your Dad went here."

My forehead twitched. "When? Where is he now?"

"Earlier during the average round. I told your Dad the he should just wait for the average round to be finish, but he just said that he just passed by," she shrugged her shoulders.

"Oh, okay." I waited for Louiegie to come back before we went back to our seats.

"Contestants, before we proceed to our difficult round, we want to say to you that a very important person will watch you!" A man came out from the backstage. "Let's give a round of applause for Mr. Schneider!" The others clapped their hands except for me.

So that's the reason why Dad didn't stayed with my friends?

The emcee gave the microphone to Dad. "I know, I don't usually go to watch every quiz bee, but I want to watch this one because my daughter, Winter Jin Schneider, is one of the contestants," Dad smiled as I winced.

"Seriously, Dad? You don't really go to watch every quiz bee even if I'm one of the contestants. Just say that you're guilty of keeping something from me and you want to get back by watching this quiz bee," I rolled my eyes.

"Let's start our difficult round!" The emcee explained the instructions for the difficult round again while Dad is just looking at me. I diverted my gaze away from him.

I'm about to say the answer to Louiegie when he put his index finger on my lips.  "I know the answer. No need to say it." He removed his finger.

"Since we have a tie, we will have a tie-breaker question," the emcee announced. She spoke about the tie-breaker question before Louiegie, me and the other two contestants was the only one left.

Tie-Breaker Question: Sino ang Pangulo ng Senado ng Espanya na namuno sa delegasyon ng Espanya sa pagbalangkas ng kasunduang pangkapayapaan na nagpatapos sa Spanish-American War?

I looked at the girl from Section Curie who's writing and she also looked at me that made her didn't had the chance to write their answer before the time runs out.

"I would like to call Louiegie Drix Kingston from Section Aristotle and Winter Jin Schneider from Section Newton to go here on stage." Louiegie and I stood up and we went on the stage. "Let's give them a round of applause for being the 1st place!" Lauren, Flinn and Aerin's claps was the loudest. "Do you have a speech before we give our certificates and medals, Mr. Schneider?" Dad nodded before he got the microphone.

"First of all, I want to congratulate all of the contestants. You all did a great job, but there is just people who stand out. Always remember that you are all intelligent. " Dad looked at me and smiled. "I want to congratulate my daughter and his partner, Louiegie Drix Kingston, for being the 1st place." Dad gave the microphone to the emcee and whispered something to her before he went back to his seat.

"I would like to call Miss Mendoza and Sir Lopez. Mr. Schneider told me that you should gave the medal and the certificate instead of him. His reason is because you're the one who mentored them," the emcee smiled.

The emcee spoke more about nonsense before Miss and Sir gave the medal and the certificate to us. "Congratulations, Ms. Schneider," Miss smiled after she gave me the medal and the certificate.

I smiled. "Thank you, Miss."

We went to where my friends are after it. Lauren and Flinn smiled to us while I noticed that there was a tears falling down Aerin's cheeks. Was she that happy that she's now crying?

I rolled my eyes before I went near her. "Why are you crying, Aerin?"

She looked startled. "I'm not crying, Winter." She wiped her tears.

"Why, Aerin?" She sighed before she whispered something to me. "That's the only reason why are you crying?" She nodded. "Tsk. Your secret will be revealed faster if you ca't control your feelings."

I saw Dad went near us. "Hi, Tito," Flinn said while Lauren just diverted her gaze away from Dad. 

Dad looked at me. "Can we talk, anak?"

"About?" I raised my brow.

"Please, anak." I rolled my eyes before I followed Dad outside the amphitheater. 

"What is it?"

"Please don't be angry at me, anak. I promise that I will tell it to you on the right time."

"I don't care when is that right time, but isn't it unfair to my side if you won't tell it to me even if I should know it?"

"I still need to verify it, anak."

I rolled my eyes. "Is that the only reason why you wanted to talk to me?"

Dad sighed. "You're so cold to me, anak."

"If that's your only problem, then I won't be cold to you anymore. Anything else, Dad?" I faked a smile.

He smiled. "You can go to them."

"Let's celebrate, guys!" I looked at Flinn because of what she said.

"That was just a simple quiz bee. There's no need to celebrate, Flinn," I said.

She smirked. "Simple quiz bee, yet you didn't perfected your score, Winter?"

I rolled my eyes. "I told you, ask your boyfriend why we didn't perfected it, Flinn. It's his fault, not mine."

"Whatever, Winter. Even if it's just a simple quiz bee, like what you said, we still needed to celebrate because you and my boyfriend won."

An idea popped in my head. "Okay, but we needed to celebrate it on a club," I smirked.

Her expression changed. "Argh! You're so annoying, Winter."

"Yeah, yeah, whatever. So, club?"

"Let's just go to the mall, Winter," Lauren suggested which Flinn agreed to.

I looked at her and to Flinn. "Okay fine," I said that made Flinn smiled.

We went to the parking lot after it. "Is that your car, Aerin?" Lauren asked Aerin as she pointed to the car beside hers. 

"Yeah," Aerin nodded. We went inside our cars and drove to the mall. 

"Where do you want to go first, babe?" I looked at Flinn when she asked Louiegie. 

Louiegie looked at me that made me diverted away my gaze from him. "Just ask Winter."

I rolled my eyes. "You decide, Louiegie. My opinion doesn't matter anyway."

Flinn sighed. "If you two don't want to decide, then fine, I'll decide. Arcade?" 

"You're not a kid anymore, Flinn," I said.

She frowned. "You can go to the arcade even if you aren't a kid anymore, Winter." I just nodded before we went to the arcade. We went first to the table tennis that should have a two players per team. "Winter, Louiegie, you're the first partner."

My forehead twitched. "Eh? Why don't you just be partner with your boyfriend, Flinn?"

"I'm not in the mood to play table tennis right now, Winter."

"Then, why we went here?"

I looked at Lauren when she spoke. "Because I suggested. Louiegie and you will be forst team while Aerin and I will be the second team." Aerin smiled because of it.

I rolled my eyes. "I think, I don't have another choice, so fine."

Flinn and Lauren smirked. Flinn whispered something to her boyfriend before Louiegie went to my side. "We're partners again, Bad Girl," he smirked.

"Whatever."

"Stop flirting, you two. Let's start the game," Flinn said.

I looked at her. "This is your boyfriend, but you're telling that we're flirting to each other?"

"That's my boyfriend, but he's your future husband, isn't he?"

I rolled my eyes. "I told youㅡ"

"ㅡhe's not my future husband." I glared at Lauren because she continued what I was about to say. "Don't glare at me, Winter. That was really what you are about to say, right?"

"Let's start it!" The table tennis ball was on Lauren and Aerin's side. 

"Are you ready to lose, Winter?" Lauren smirked.

I rolled my eyes. "As if I would let that happen, Lauren. Don't underestimate me when it comes to table tennis. You know my skills," I also smirked.

Lauren started playing with the table tennis ball and she threw it to us unexpectedly. Thank god, my reflexes are fast. I threw it to Lauren, but it landed on Aerin's side that made us gained one point.

"How did you do it, Bad Girl?" Louiegie asked.

"This is the skills that I'm telling Lauren earlier," I said. Louiegie threw the ball and Aerin was able to threw it again to our side. When it's my turn to throw the ball. I let it bounced on the table and threw it with a little bit of force. Aerin's reflexes was also fast that she managed to threw it again to our side. "Will you just watch Aerin, Lauren?" I smirked.

She rolled her eyes. "Shut up, Winter." On that time, she threw the ball to us and we didn't managed to catch it. "Where is your skills now, Winter?"

We played again and on the end, we had a tie. "You have a great skills, Aerin," I smiled to her.

"I just practiced, Winter. Besides, yours are way more better than mine."

"What will we do next?" Flinn asked us. I was about to say something when she spoke again. "Let's go the that one," she pointed the machine where you can sing.

"But that's just for two people, right?" 

"That's why you and Louiegie will have a duet, Winter."

I looked at her as my forehead twitched. "Eh?"

"Yeah, you will have a duet." She looked at her boyfriend. "Is that okay to you, babe?"

Louiegie nodded. "Anything," he smiled. After it, he went to the machine while Lauren and Flinn forced me to go there. Aerin was just watching us.
