Chapter 29: We're Friends Now
WINTER'S POINT OF VIEW
"I'm here!" I saw Louiegie coming closer to me. He sat on the grass like me. Here we are, reviewing at the field. If you are asking me if I said 'okay' to him earlier, well, yeah.
~FLASHBACK~
"Can we review together later?" he asked.
"What?" My forehead is still twitched.
He sighed again. "I'm asking if we can review together later?"
"And why is that, huh, Louiegie?"
"Because I want to, Bad Girl," he smirked.
I rolled my eyes. "Now, why are you smirking?"
"Nothing. It's just that you're sweet," he said as he chuckled.
"I don't know what's sweet on what I said, but you already have a girlfriend and you're still flirting with me? Really, Louiegie?" I raised my brow.
He showed me his hands as if he's surrendering. "I'm not flirting with you, but if that's what you want..." I didn't heard the other words that he said because he lowered his voice.
"Pardon? I didn't heard you well."
"It's just nothing," he smiled. "So is it okay to you? If we review together?"
"What are we going to review, then?"
"Lessons on History? Yeah, we're going to review it for the quiz bee."
My forehead twitched. "Excuse me? We're not going to do that because we're opponents, okay?"
"Yeah, we're opponents, but we can be I can be your ally and the same to me, right?"
I thought for a second before I rolled my eyes. "Fine."
"Yes!" He suddenly stood up that made other students looked at us. Of course, they have a reaction.
"Oh my gosh. Look at them. They are eating together."
"Nerd Boy and Bad Girl are together. It's unbelievable."
"Are they dating?"
I looked at the woman who asked that we're dating. "Excuse me? Me? Winter Jin Schneider will date that Louiegie? Are you stupid?"
She looked down. "I'm sorry, Bad Girl." I glared at her because of what she said. "I mean, Winter."
I smirked. "You better be sorry, b*tch." I looked at Louiegie. "And you, I'll just wait for you at the field, Louiegie."
He smiled. "Of course, Bad Girl."
~END OF FLASHBACK~
"What topic you want to review, Bad Girl?"
I glared at him. "We're reviewing together, but that doesn't mean we will share the same reviewer and we will talk. Understand that, Louiegie?" He just nodded before he looked at his reviewer again.
I smirked. Actually, I'm not reviewing. I'm using my phone. I cutted my book for the size of my phone and placed it. I'm chatting with Lauren on Messenger.
Lauren: You're with him already?
Winter: Yeah. Why? Is Flinn already jealous?
Lauren: No, don't worry. Just enjoy your time with Louiegie, Winter.
My forehead twitched.
Winter: What enjoy are you talking about, Lauren? It felt hell to be with him.
Lauren: Then, why are you with him right now if it's fine to not be with him, huh?
I rolled my eyes before I typed.
Winter: Because I want to, Lauren.
Lauren: Whatever, Winter.
I closed my phone after it. I'm worried about Flinn if she gets jealous because I'm with her boyfriend. But, I still hope that she's isn't jealous because I'm just doing this for a purpose.
"I'm going to buy some snacks at the canteen. Want anything?" I looked at Louiegie when he stood up.
I shook my head. "I'm still full." He just nodded before he left. I find his pen and paper. I'm about to write on his paper when I read something that made my forehead twitched. What's this? It's just the same as what Aristotle gave me before. What does this mean?
I didn't know that I'm looking at it for a long time, so when Louiegie went back, he caught me, holding his paper. "What are you doing?" He seems nervous.
I smiled awkwardly. "I'm just getting some paper because I forgot to get some from my locker." I put back his paper to where I got it earlier.
"Oh, okay. You can get some snacks if you want." He showed me the snacks that he bought and I just shook my head.
I went back to my place and took my phone out of the book. "I'll just go to the restroom." I didn't wait for him to speak when I went to the restroom.
I looked at my reflection on the mirror. I'm confused about what is written on his paper. I tried to remember what kind of paper Aristotle used when he send me a letter before and it was also the same. Aristotle and Louiegie's papers are just exactly the same. Does this mean...? No, it's impossible. Louiegie and Aristotle aren't the same person. But, what if they are? I checked something on my phone before I shook my head.
I washed my hands before I went back on the field. "What took you so long at the restroom, Bad Girl?" he asked when he saw me.
"I'm confused if you're the person who killed my mother or not, Louiegie." That's what I wanted to say, but I just rolled my eyes. "It's none of your business, Louiegie."
"You know what, Bad Girl? You're so bipolar. You're just smiling earlier and now, you're sassy again," he laughed.
I rolled my eyes. "You don't care, Louiegie. And, I don't have a bipolar disorder, get it?" He just nodded before he went back to reading again. I also got my reviewer to review. We are reading when someone went near us.
"Louiegie?" the girl happily asked that made Louiegie looked at her.
"Aerin? Are you okay now? How was your right foot?" he asked as he stood up.
I looked at them, my forehead twitched. "What is going on here? Who is this girl here, Louiegie? Do you know her?"
"Yes. This is Aerin Lyanna Villan, Winter. And this is Winter Jin Schneider, Aerin." Aerin offered her hand, but I just looked at it, so she just hid her hand.
I stood up as I rolled my eyes. "I don't care whoever you are. Don't you saw that we're reviewing?" I raised my brow.
"I'm sorry, Winter," the girl looked down.
"We're not friends, so don't call me by my name, get it?"
"Then, what should I call you then?"
"None because you shouldn't talk to me," I rolled my eyes.
She looked at me. "Can I ask a question?"
"You are already asking, you know."
"Are you the future wife of Louiegie?" I was choked because of what she said.
I raised my brow. "Excuse me? Where on earth did you heard that?"
"From Louiegie," she looked at Louiegie.
I rolled my eyes. "First of all, I told you that you shouldn't talk to me. Second, you are a gossipmonger. Third, Louiegie has a girlfriend already. And lastly, I'm not her future wife and I will never be. Understand that?" She nodded. "If you really understand it, leave this place now."
"Louiegie, I'll go now." She was about to go when Louiegie spoke.
"You can stay here if you want, Aerin."
I glared at Louiegie. "My Dad is the owner of this school where you are right now, so if I said she should leave, she will leave. And you, if you want her to be with her, just go. I don't need a company anyway." I sat on the grass while the two of the are still talking when my phone rang. I answered it after I saw who is calling. "Flinn, your boyfriend is with a girl."
I heard Flinn laughed from the other line. "He is really with a girl because you are a girl, Winter. Are you starting to be stupid?"
I rolled my eyes. "He's with another girl and that's not me, Flinn."
"Who?!" I took away my phone from my ear because of her shout.
"Louiegie said her name is Aerin Lyanna Villan."
"Omg! Where are you, Winter? I want to see Aerin. I missed her already," she chuckled. My forehead twitched. She's just shouting a while ago, then now, her tone was happy again? I don't understand this girl.
"Do you know her that you will react like that after you heard her name?"
"Yeah. She's my friend."
My mouth formed into an 'o'. "Really? I didn't know that you have a new friend now, huh?"
"I'll just tell you the story later. Just tell you me where are you. I really wanted to see Aerin."
"We're at the field," I said before I ended the call. I looked at them and caught Louiegie looking at me. "What?" I raised my brow.
"Who are you talking to?" he asked.
"You," I simply answered.
"I'm not joking, Bad Girl."
I rolled my eyes. "Do I looked like I am joking, huh? Well, let me tell you that I'm not joking because I'm really talking to you, idiot."
He closed his eyes before he opened it again. "Who are you talking to before you talked to me?"
"Ahhh. You're not clarifying it eh. I'm talking to you girlfriend before I talked to you."
His expression became surprised. 'What did you told her?"
I smirked. "I told Flinn that you are cheating with that another girl of yours. She said, she will go here at field to torture your another girl. You know what she can do to that girl? She can stab her, drown her, bury her and if she will need Lauren and my help, we can kill her," I shrugged my shoulders.
"Bad Girl! You are not funny. Aerin is Flinn's friend, so she can't do it. And if she can really do it, why is Lauren is still alive by now? She told me that her previous boyfriend and Lauren cheated on her. Why didn't she did what you are talking about to Lauren and to the other girls of her previous boyfriends?"
I laughed. "You're so funny, Louiegie. You really think that she can do it, huh? We're not murderers, so she can't really do it."
"Aerin!" We looked at the entrance of the field when we heard Flinn's voice. She's running toward the girl while Lauren is just walking. Flinn hugged the girl. "Omg! I missed you, Aerin!"
I rolled my eyes as I stood up. "You hugged her first before me, Flinn? Seriously?" I raised my brow.
Flinn faced me. "Are you jealous, Winter?" she smirked.
"Excuse me? Why would I be jealous? I'm just asking, Flinn."
She hugged me. "Happy now, Winter?"
"Whatever, Flinn." I looked at Lauren when she stopped in front of us. "What's with your face?" I asked when I noticed that her face was serious.
"Why is that girl here, Louiegie?" she coldly asked.
"What's wrong if she's here, Lauren? You have already broke her right foot."
I was startled. "What? Lauren broke the right foot of that girl?"
"Yeah," Lauren answered.
"Why, Lauren?" She told me her reason. I looked at the girl. "You are the girl I saw on the coffee shop with Loueigie before?"
They're forehead twitched. "You saw Louiegie on the coffee shop? When?" Flinn asked.
"The day that I went to London. The day when you thought that I'm missing?"
"What?!" they shouted except from the girl.
"What's wrong?" I asked.
"Why didn't you went to Louiegie and told him that you were going to London on that day, Winter?"
I looked at Flinn. "I was going near Nerd Boy when I saw him talking to that girl, so I just didn't bothered them." I pointed at the girl who's just watching us.
"See? It's really Aerin's fault," Lauren said.
"I'm going now. Excuse me, Winter, Louiegie, Flinn and Lauren." We looked at the girl when she spoke.
Louiegie and Flinn shook their head. "Just stay, Aerin."
"Just let her leave," Lauren and I said.
Louiegie spoke. "Lauren, how many times do I have to tell you that it's my fault?"
"Are we really just gonna talk about that? It's been more than a week, guys," I rolled my eyes.
"Winter's right. It's been more than a week, so we shouldn't talk about it anymore," Flinn said. She and Louiegie sat on the grass.
Lauren and I sat too. "Sit, Aerin." The girl followed what Louiegie said and she sat near Flinn.
"So, what are we gonna do now?" I asked. "Are we just gonna sit here?"
"Be friends with Aerin, Bad Girl."
I looked at Louiegie. "And why would I do that, huh, Louiegie?"
"Because I said so. Also, Lauren should also do it."
"We're not doing it just because you said so, Louiegie," I rolled my eyes.
I was surprised when Lauren stood up and went near Aerin who's also surprised by the sudden act of Lauren. "We're friends now, Aerin."
