Will poked his head around the rec room corner, Ironhide was playing poker again. it was his second favorite thing, beside hanging with Will and Lunar, when Decepticons were quiet. he was semi excited. he had some good news.

"Ironhide." Will said. Ironhide grumbled.

"I fold." Ironhide mumbled. "what?" Ironhide ask.

"come here." Will said.

"I'm busy." Ironhide said.

"you folded. come here. I want to tell you something." Will said, moving to stand in the door way. Ironhide looked at him and huffed.

"then say it." Ironhide said. Will glared.

"Ironhide you big fucking idiot come here!" Will hissed. the room got quiet and Ironhide stared at his bonded, glaring at Will.

"either tell me what you want or frag off Will. I'm busy." Ironhide said. Will growled and stomped off. Ironhide nodded slightly and turned back to the game. it was only quiet a moment before Ironhide yelped and hit the floor. Will smirked, standing beside Ironhides chair, putting his electro rod away. "I told you not to use that stupid thing in the base!" Ironhide hissed getting up of the floor.

"I'm seriously reaching the end of my rope here and I'm about to drag your aft into the medbay so I can beat the frag out of you! now get up and follow me!" Will glared. Ironhide huffed and dusted off. Will grabbed his grill and pulled him hard. Ironhide smacked his hand off, but followed him.

"where are we going?" Ironhide grumbled.

"medbay." Will replied. Ironhide frowned slightly.

"why?" Ironhide ask.

"just shut up and follow me." Will said. Ironhide huffed, but followed him. they walked into the medbay and Ratchet was waiting for them.

"scans are back." Ratchet said with a small smirk. Ironhide raised an eye brow.

"scans?" Ironhide ask. Ratchet shifted and looked at Will.

"you didn't tell him." Ratchet ask.

"nope. he was being an asshole." Will replied. Ratchet nodded slightly.

"oh so I should just come out and say it then?" Ratchet ask curiously.

"yeah. that'd be great. just show him how much of an asshole he is." Will smirked. Ironhide glared.

"just spit it out." Ironhide grumbled.

"I dunno. this is a sweet moment I think maybe I should just take my time. don't you-" Ratchet started.

"Will carrying." Wheeljack said, walking up behind Ratchet. Ratchet and Will both gave Wheeljack upset protests.

"Jack! you weren't supposed to say that. I was doing it." Ratchet glared.

"yeah Wheeljack." Will pouted.

"oh sorry Ratch." Wheeljack apologized. Ironhide stared at Will.

"thats impossible Will." Ironhide frowned.

"not entirely." Will mumbled.

"with the Allspark energy he carries it could happen. especially since he's your bondmate and has prolonged exposure to your spark, even if your spark chamber isn't opened." Ratchet said. " Wheeljacks working on that." Ratchet said.

"well how come it didn't happen before now?" Ironhide ask.

"oh, because Lunar just turned 7 in human years, the Allspark must've been waiting." Wheeljack suggested. "which means I have about another 7 years to block this from happening again or you'll have another sparkling." Wheeljack shrugged.

"oh thats great." Ironhide mumbled. Will frowned slightly.

"I'm excited even if you aren't." Will huffed. Ironhide frowned slightly.

"how far along?" Ironhide ask, looking at Ratchet.

"about two decacycles." Ratchet said.

"huh?" Will ask. despite the years with the Autobots, Will still didnt' understand their time measurments. Ironhide usually just told him in Earth time.

"2 weeks." Ironhide said. Will nodded. "so... how do we keep him from hurting like he did last time?" Ironhide ask. Will frowned slightly.

"he's right. it got pretty bad last time." Will said.

"we'll work on it. just be careful with him." Ratchet said. "it could be that Lunar was creating room for sparklings that you didn't have before or it could be the fact you were human. we'll figure this out." Ratchet assureed.

"this is about the time I really started hurting with Lunar." Will frowned.


"than we better get you somewhere you can sit back." Ironhide said, motioning Will to follow him. Will followed him.

"you're not happy?" Will ask.

"of course I am. I'm just worried Will. Lunar really hurt you." Ironhide frowned looking at him. Will nodded.

"I know. everything will be fine Ironhide." Will said.

"carrier! creator!" Lunar giggled running over. Ironhide scooped him up and cuddled him.

"we need to talk little one." Ironhide said. Lunar looked confused.

"am I in trouble?" Lunar ask.

"no kiddo." Will smiled, rubbing his cheek gently. "we just gotta talk." Will murmured.

"okay." Lunar cuddled his creator. they went into his and Wills room sitting on the berth. the discussed with Lunar gently, letting him know about the new sparkling. he didn't seem to understand too well, but he was excited to know he was going to have a sibling.

"shit, we need to let Optimus know. ya know BEFORE this sparkling gets here. we don't need a repeat of last time." Will said. Ironhide nodded and stood.

"I'm on it. you should tell Barricade. he'll be excited. since the 'Cons won't hurt you, go a head and head over to tell him." Ironhide said. Will nodded.

"no way. I'm not getting my ass out there while Starscreams out there." Will said. "I'll com him. besides, Lunar needs a nap." Will smiled. Lunar rubbed his optics and cuddled to Ironhide.

"alright." Ironhide said. he pet Lunars head gently, kissing Wills head before leaving. over the seven Earth years they'd been together, their bond had grown stronger and so had their love. Ironhide wasn't a big affection person, at least towards his bondmate in public, but he did enjoy his time with Will. Will smiled and watched him go, before taking Lunar and laying him down.

"have a good stasis nap." Will smiles, rubbing his thumb over the sparklings cheek. Lunar curled up and yawned. Will wasn't sure on how old Lunar was in Cybertronian, he really didn't under stand their time, he was 7 in Earth years and Ironhide explained he was still sparkling. Ironhide told him a Solarcycle, a Cybertronian year, was about 400 Earth days but Will wasn't really good at calculating that, so he left it to his bonded. speaking of bonded, Ironhide told him to talk to Barricade. Will stood from the berth beside Lunar. "Barricade." Will commed.

"Will? is Lunar okay?" Barricade ask.

"yeah. Lunars just fine. how far away from the base are you?" Will ask.

"I can be there in about a breem." Barricade said.

"a what?" Will ask. he could hear Barricade sigh.

"a breem is 8.3 minutes. so roughly 10 minutes." Barricade said.

"okay. Lunar is taking a nap so he won't be joining us." Will said.

"alright." Barricade replied. Will locked their room as he walked out and headed for the rec room. they always locked it when Lunar was in there alone just to keep him safe. he grabbed 2 cubes from the rec room then heading outside, hoping to meet Barricade. the mech transformed and stopped in front of him. "whats up?" Barricade ask.

"hey nothing big. cube?" Will ask, holding it out to him. Barricade looked confused but shrugged and took the cube.

"alright. nothing big and you're offering me a cube. casual talk. what happened?" Barricade ask. Will chuckled.

"just relax Barricade. nothing happened. just some casual talk." Will said amused.

"we don't have casual talk without Lunar. no sparkling means no casual talk." Barricade said. Will laughed watching him sip his cube.

"well its a good thing I'm carrying then isn't it?" Will mumbled. Barricade spit out the energon in his mouth. he stared at Will.

"I'm sorry?" Barricade said. "what did you just say?" Barricade mumbled.

"you said there had to be a sparkling for us to talk casually. it's a good thing there's a sparkling isn't it?" Will smiled.

"you're serious?" Barricade ask.

"yeah with all the prolonged exposure to Ironhide's spark and me having that Allspark energy causes sparklings." Will smiled.

"thats great." Barricade said.

"but keep it quiet. you, Prime, and Ratchet are the only ones who know." Will said.

"sweet I'm special." Barricade smirked. Will chuckled.

"Will please return to the base." Optimus said.

"well I gotta go. Prime wants me." Will said. Barricade stood and pulled Will up.

"let me know when the sparkling gets here." Barricade smiled.

"I will." Will said and headed inside. he quickly found Ironhide, Ratchet, and Optimus waiting for him and Ironhide appeared pissed.

"to avoid another incident like with Lunar-" Optimus started.

"which was completely your fault and you can't deny it you got super lucky Barricade and Soundwave were there." Will interupted. Optimus frowned.

"to avoid another Lunar incident, you will be on base until the sparkling arrives." Optimus said.

"are you trying to ground me?" Will seemed amused. "look, Prime I got Decepticons and Autobots on my side and I will not be trapped here at the base until I'm too far along to transform and by the my feet will hurt to bad to go anywhere and I'll be here like I was with Lunar until you said I had to go on a mission. that might work for your team, but I'm not your soldier. I'm not even a soldier anymore at this point. I'm a human and I'm not following orders of a Prime who can't, or won't, listen to his team. Ratchet told you last time and you refused to listen to him. Ironhide told you and you didn't listen. I told you and you didn't listen. so not happening." Will glared, rubbing his chest plate. immediately Ironhide put his servo on Will's shoulder and nodded him towards their room. Will nodded slightly and stormed off. Ironhide waited for him to go and turned, growling at Optimus.

"unless you suddenly went from leader to medic, you have no idea whats best for them. frag off."Ironhide growled, following Will. Will was laying on the berth rubbing his chest. Ironhide walked over worriedly. "how bad is it?" Ironhide ask.

"I'm fine. it's not pain. I upset the sparkling." he mumbled. Ironhide nodded sending a few comforting waives over the bond gently. WIll smiled slightly at him. "thanks Hide." Will murmurs gently. Ironhide smiled at him and kissed his head.

"good." Ironhide smiles laying beside him. "just rest Will." Ironhide said quietly. Will nuzzled his neck and cuddles him. Ironhide smiled and held him, kissing his head. he held Will as he slept and tried to figure out what they were going to do with two sparklings.
