"and you're sure you can handle him?" Will ask. two nods. "and you're sure this is okay?" Will ask. more nods.

"and you're sure you don't mind?" Ironhide ask.

"yes! give us the child and go!" Sam laughed, taking Lunar.

"he's just a sparkling guys. we can handle him. besides the worse thing that can happen is the Decepticons attack and they all love the little guy and would just sit down to play with him." Bumblebee said.

"Bumblebee's right guys. besides there's other people on base if we need help." Sam agreed.

"right, Ratchet is busy don't bug him. Optimus has paperwork but has offered to help if you need it. keep him out of Wheeljacks lab and I swear to Primus if you guys give him anything before you put him to bed, you will clean it up. he gets sick if he has anything too close to sleeping." Ironhide said.

"Ironhide's right." Will said.

"alright. alright, go. begone, have fun." Sam smiled. Will nodded slightly, patting Lunars helm gently. Lunar giggled happily.

"later squirt." Ironhide said, rubbing Lunars cheek. he and Will transformed and left.

"you think they'll be fine?" Will ask.

"Will, it's just a few hours. besides they're right. the worse thing that can happen is the Decepticons and they'd probably leave as quickly as they came when they saw him." Ironhide said. Will nodded riding beside him.

"so why exactly did you want to go out and do something?" Will ask curiously. Ironhide had already said he wasn't telling his plan.

"I mean Lunar is nearly an Earth year old, we haven't ever gone out and just done something. not even when you were human. we really just went to the shooting range. I over heard Sam say something about human traditions and dating. he mentioned that humans like to have what is called 'date nights' and I figure that you could use it." Ironhide said. Will was surprised by this and Ironhide could feel it from his side of the bond. Ironhide chuckled, amused. the two had long since gotten used to actually admitting they loved each other and were happy.

"wow thats really sweet of you Hide." Will said. Ironhide was clearly happy. "so what are we doing?" Will ask. Will felt something he couldn't recognize on the other side of the bond.

"uh... well, I didn't think I'd actually get this far so I have no idea." Ironhide said. Will started laughing. "sorry." Ironhide grumbled.

"it's okay Hide. we'll find something. nothing says we can't just drive around for a bit." Will said.

"that wouldn't be very fun for you." Ironhide said. Will thought a moment.

"do you feel like being stupid and having fun?" Will ask.

"how stupid?" Ironhide ask.

"distruction of private property." Will said.

"sounds fun." Ironhide said bouncing on his tires slightly. "what are you thinking?" Ironhide ask.

"ever heard of mail box smashing?" Will ask. Ironhide was silent, looking it up on the internet.

"that sounds stupid." Ironhide said. "lets do it." Ironhide smirked.

"I got a couple people in mind. follow me." Will said.

"what are we using to hit them?" Ironhide ask.

"we could pick up some tree branches or some bats, or we could just ram the fuck out of them. not like it'll hurt." Will said. Ironhide followed him. "and then we can do something you'd like, like go get a car wash." Will suggested.

"auto carwashes are no fun. they're disgusting and rough." Ironhide mumbled. Will laughed and Ironhide could feel he was amused.

"who said anything about an auto wash? I've got a holoform." Will said. Ironhide shifted and Will knew he was watching him. "what? do you want the car wash or not? you haven't had a real one since I was human." Will said.

"no. it sounds nice. I just didn't know you had a holoform." Ironhide said.

"oh yeah, Ratchet been working on me and Sam for a while. we wanted our holoforms to look like, well, us and we had to do a bunch of shit to make it happen. it's only been functioning for about three weeks now. I've been using it and working with Ratchet while you and Lunar have been out on the range." Will explained.

"really? thats cool." Ironhide said.

"yeah I still have a few things to work on, but I'm trying." Will said.

"like what? maybe I could help." Ironhide offered.

"no it's just stuff that was me." Will said.

"Will I have scans of you when we had to strip you down and throw you in the emergency wash racks because Wheeljacks experiment blew up on you, me, and Sam. I could help." Ironhide said.

"you have scans of my naked human body from over two years ago?" Will ask.

"well yes. I have all kinds of scans on you Will, I was your guardian. I still scan you. you're my bondmate. I have scans of Lunar as well." Ironhide said.

"I don't have scans of you." Will said. Ironhide chuckled.

"you're not used to taking them. I have at least 1 scan of everyone on base. I generally take one once a month, compair them to the old ones, then delete the old ones and keep the new ones. it's something Ratchet got me into. there's a lot of bots on base and he can't keep track of everyone." Ironhide said. Will bounced on his tires, as though he were nodding. "Will where are we?" Ironhide ask.

"Agent Simmons house." Will said. Ironhide chuckled, watching Will back up then speed up and slam hard into the mail box. it broke off and went flying, leaving Will unharmed. "go! go! go!" Will laughed speeding off. Ironhide speed up behind him, taking out a mailbox himself. he laughed and destroyed another. Will smiled at his bondmate, he'd really only intended on some revenge, but Ironhide was having fun. "hey what was the name of that kid that picked on Sam? the one Optimus told Bumblebee he'd be in serious trouble if anything happened to him?" Will ask.

"Trent Demarco." Ironhide replied.

"got his address?" Will ask.

"of course." Ironhide said, getting infront of him to lead the way. "whats your plan?" Ironhide ask.

"well I hear the kid has a very nice truck." Will smirked. Ironhide shuttered, but led the way. Will transformed when they got there. "just stay quiet and take out a couple mail boxes." Will said. Ironhide backed up and watched him. Will looked over the truck and flipped it over. he crushed the cab in doing so.

"Will! they're awake." Ironhide called, speeding off. Will transformed, accidently taking out their mailbox and a neighbours fence, but followed Ironhide, as quickly as he could, leaving a cloud of smoke behind him. Will laughed speeding past Ironhide quickly.

"come on old man. catch me if you can before the cops catch us both." Will laughed. Ironhide growled.

"you are approximately the same age as me!" Ironhide shouted, speeding after him. he transformed and slammed into Wills side, making him transform as they both went flying. Will laughed landing a few feet away from Ironhide. he sat up and grinned at his bonded. Ironhide sat up giving him a dirty look. Will straightened and transformed quickly, speeding off.

"cops!" Will called. Ironhide transformed and followed him.

"I'm all dusty and distgusting!" Ironhide hissed angrily.

"oh shush, I'm going to give you a wash. you'll be fine. besides I know you're having fun! you can't lie to me! I can feel it!" Will grins. Ironhide huffed following him, but he did have to admit this was fun. as they were driving Will slammed on his brakes. "holy shit the carnivals in town." Will said. Ironhide gave a confused noise.

"what you mean that metal death trap?" Ironhide ask.

"yeah." Will said excitedly. Ironhide frowned and researched a little.

"well if we're going we should go before we wash up." Ironhide said.

"no it's okay I promised you we'd go have a wash next." Will said. Ironhide ignored him and turned off the road. Will huffed and followed him. Will was excited about this and Ironhide really wanted to see him happy. the parked and activated their holoforms. Ironhide even got them bracelets so they just walked right in. he gave a distasteful look around, but Will was excited so he stayed quiet. the man grabbed hold of his hand tightly and pulled him off. Ironhide rolled his eye's, a smile on his face, and followed. they rode rides and Ironhide beat all the games at least once, both deciding to take home the bigger cheap toys to give to Lunar. the smaller ones they simply handed to people as they passed by. Will decided he was tired of the carnival after a while and, after a not so quick but very pleasing wash, they headed home.

*base*

the two rolled up to the base and transformed, Will holding the two toys they determined Lunar could have, and walked in. the rec room was a HUGE mess. there was stuff everywhere. Lunar was still playing happily in the middle of the mess, Bumblebee and Sam were passed out off to the side. they were a mess too. all three were. Will sighed and handed Ironhide the toys.

"I'll clean him. you wake the boys and clean this up." Will chuckled. he scooped up Lunar and headed for the wash racks, knowing full and well that the beautiful wash he'd just had would be ruined with the wash racks. he hoped the the wax had enough time to dry. Lunar yawned at him and cuddled him. "not yet little one. you still have to get clean." Will smiled. he showered the tired sparkling, who didn't even put up a fight, then laid him down to sleep. he had his very own berth in the room next to his and Ironhides. the only door into Lunars room was through Will and Ironhides room. he made sure to leave Lunars door open and closed his and Ironhides. he headed back to the rec room, it was still a mess. Ironhide was working on cleaning it up, Bumblebee was semi helping, and Sam was still out cold curled up on the floor. "seems like he got the best of you two." Will said. Bumblebee frowned at him, too tired to really care.

"yeah a little." he grumbled. Will smiled.

"go on. take Sam and go get some rest. we'll handle this." Will said. Bumblebee looked utterly grateful and scraped Sam up. Will watched the scout carry his bondmate off then turned to Ironhide. "come on. the fast we clean this up the faster we can go lay down." Will smiled. Ironhide chuckled and the two cleaned the room, to the best of their abilities, then headed to bed. "well that was fun. it was nice of them to offer, but I don't think we'll be doing that again for a while." Will chuckled.

"why not? we'll just leave the youngling with Prime and go next time. it'll be fine." Ironhdie assured.

"or pick a day when Sideswipes free and ask him to watch him." Will mumbled curling up on the berth. Ironhide laid besid him and held him.

"you're disgusting and sticky." Ironhide said.

"yeah. I ended up washing the wax off a bit. it wasn't set when I went and washed Lunar. sorry." Will mumbled.

"I could've washed him." Ironhide said.

"yeah but then you'd be disgusting, sticky, and upset. I'm fine." Will assured. Ironhide frowned some but held tighter, making a mental not to take Will out and get him a good cleaning and waxing tomorrow. with a smile he settled into recharge. it had been a good night and they were both tired.
