Will smiled walking outside. it had been Sam's idea to put in a basketball court big enough for the Autobots to use without their holoforms. Will smiled slightly and winced, rubbing his chest plate.

"easy. I know. he's on the court." Will murmured. he walked over to the court and watched them play. it was Ironhide, Bumblebee and Hound against Drift, Crosshairs, and Hot Rod. Will smiled and walked closer to watch. he hoped being closer to Ironhide would settle the sparkling.

"hey! no guns!" Bumblebee said, smacking Hot Rod in the back of the head. "it's cheating." he added.

"no hitting." Drift said, shooting for the goal. Ironhide easily grabbed the ball and smirked at him, dodging around him to shoot.

"Will tell him there's no guns on the court." Bumblebee said looking at Will. Will chuckled slightly and crossed his arms over his chest, amused.

"Bee's right. no guns on the court, but Drift is also right, no hitting on the court either guys. it's supposed to be a friendly game." Will smiled. Crosshairs huffed at him.

"screw off human." Crosshairs muttered. Will shifted and looked at him.

"I'm not human anymore and my name is Will." Will said. "and I'm just trying to help." he added. Crosshairs ducked out of the game while the others were playing.

"why would I listen to a human?" Crosshairs said.

"I'm not human anymore. I'm an Autobot, just like you." Will said, glaring at him. Crosshairs shoved him hard, Optimus had already gotten onto him today multiple times for using his weapons on fellow Autobots and he didn't want to risk the Prime getting pissed at him again.

"screw off human. go back to the other squishies of this planet. you're not an Autobot." Crosshairs hissed, backing Will up and shoving the mech again. Will yelped landing on his ass, immediately bringing up his hands to rub his chestplate. he could feel the immediate explosive rage coming from Ironhide. the mech came out of no where tackling Crosshairs to the ground and beating on him. Will winced and rubbed his chestplate. Bumblebee quickly walked over to help him up.

"Will are you alright?" Bumblebee ask. Will nodded slightly, rubbing his chestplate.

"I'm fine. yeah. he just knocked me over." Will assured.

"he's an asshole." Bumblebee said. Will looked over at Ironhide beating the mech.

"pretty sure Ironhide's going to beat that out of him." Will said. Bumblebee laughed. Will walked over and patted Ironhide's shoulder. "okay Hide. you got him." Will chuckled. Ironhide grunted and got up off Crosshairs.

"servo's off my bondmate." Ironhide hissed. Crosshairs groaned lowly. Ironhide nodded at him with a huff of steam out his nose. he looked at Will. "you two okay?" Ironhide ask. Will nodded slightly.

"we're fine. sparklings ticked but we're fine." Will said. Ironhide nodded slightly and turned to go back onto the court.

"oh what need your big bad bondmate to fight your fights for you?" Crosshairs hissed getting up slowly. Will shot him a dirty look.

"actually no, him bringing you to my level is just a perk." Will glared, turning quickly and kicking him in the face. immediately pain shot through his upper body and his breath caught in his throat. he doubled over immediately and Ironhide stilled on the court. Bumblebee looked at him worriedly.

"uh, Ironhide?" Hound ask. Ironhide didn't move. he could feel Will's pain and it was bad.

"Ratchet." Ironhide commed immediately once he could see through the notifications of his bondmate and sparkling being in danger. he turned and went back over to Will quickly. Bumblebee helped him grab Will and head inside.

"Ironhide?" Ratchet muttered. he sounded tired, he'd probably been napping. as they moved Will the notifications were getting worse.

"Will and the sparkling are injured. judging by the notifications I'm getting, it's bad." Ironhide said.

"damn it Ironhide! what happened!? he's due any day now and you let him get hurt!?" Ratchet shouted.

"I didn't let him do anything!" Ironhide hissed loudly. Bumblebee looked at him worriedly. "Crosshairs attacked him you aft! but thank you so much for assuming I'm not competent enough to keep my bondmate and sparkling safe! I'm sooo sorry I didn't expect a fellow Autobot to attack him!" Ironhide shouted angrily. Ratchet got quiet and looked up as they carried Will in. Will whimpered quietly, holding his chestplates. they laid Will down gently and Ratchet threw them out, he seemed slightly pissed as well. oh Ironhide was raging. there were pain notifications and warnings about Will and the sparkling everywhere and Crosshairs was going down faster than the Ark when it crashed on the moon.

"Ironhide...?" Bumblebee ask hesitantly. Ironhide growled and stomped back outside. Bumblebee watched him go and turned running off to find Optimus. "Optimus!" Bumblebee shouted, racing towards his office. humans and Autobots stayed out of his way. "Optimus!!" Bumblebee shouted again, slamming the door of Optimus' office open. the Prime jumped up and looked at him.

"Bumblebee?" Optimus ask.

"Ironhide's going to offline Crosshairs." Bumblebee said. Optimus got up quickly and followed Bumblebee.

"what happened?" Optimus ask.

"Crosshairs hurt Will bad enough we had to carry him to Ratchet and Ironhide could barely stand because he could feel it so bad." Bumblebee explained. Optimus sighed as he followed Bumblebee outside. to his utter shock and horror, Ironhide had already torn both of Crosshairs arms off and the mech was unconscious as Ironhide beat on him.

"Ironhide! stop!" Optimus ordered, running over. he was afraid to get too close, he'd never seen Ironhide this angry before. not even at Hot Rod, not even at the Decepticons. he was raging and the Prime didn't want his anger going towards him. "Ironhide! stop! now! thats an order!" Optimus shouted as Ironhide pulled his cannons out. he had to do something, so he tackled Ironhide off Crosshairs. "Ironhide stop it now!" Optimus ordered.

"he hurt Will!" Ironhide shouted.

"I understand that but you're going to hurt Will if you keep it up!" Optimus said. Ironhide growled lowly struggling for only a moment before he kicked the Prime off him and got up. he growled and shoved Bumblebee out of the way. he yelped and landed on his aft, watching Ironhide go.

"he's pissed." Bumblebee said, looking at Optimus. the Prime sighed slightly and watched Ironhide go.

"Ratchet. Crosshairs is in need of immediate medical attention." Optimus said.

"unless he's worse than Will, he'll have to wait." Ratchet grumbled. he looked up as the medbay doors slammed over and Ironhide was huffing steam out his nose. "easy Ironhide. they're going to be just fine. no sparkling yet. I know the court is right outside the base, but it's better if he stays in here." Ratchet said.

"he's okay though?" Ironhide ask. Ratchet nodded.

"yeah. he just moved fast enough that it hurt the sparkling a little and sent a lot of pain through his chest. he did burst a main energon line that I fixed rather quickly, but they're both okay." Ratchet assured. Ironhide nodded slightly and walked over to Will as he sat up.

"Will are you alright?" Ironhide ask. Will looked dizzy and mumbled.

"you so maaaadddd." Will muttered. Ironhide looked worriedly over at Ratchet.

"I told you he had a serious energon leak. he's going to be a bit out of it for a while." Ratchet frowned. Ironhide nodded and quickly caught Will when he got up and stumbled.

"oopsie." Will laughed. Ironhide frowned slightly and scooped him up carefully.

"c'mon Will, you need to lay down for a bit, before you drive me nuts." Ironhide muttered. Will giggled happily and let Ironhide carry him off. Ratchet sighed slightly, before pausing.

"what did you do to Crosshairs?" Ratchet ask. Ironhide didn't answer and Ratchet sighed, coming the Prime he could bring Crosshairs in. his jaw nearly fell off when he saw how bad the mech looked, Ironhide owed him big time.

Ironhide laid Will down on the berth, laying beside him.

"alright Will, get some rest." Ironhide said. Will cuddled up to him mumbling and Ironhide held him tightly. just a few more days or so and he wouldn't have to protect Will like this anymore, then Will's protective programming would be on overactive and Will would be safer than anything else on the base.
