Billy released his breath slowly. He looked behind him to see Wanda and Quicksilver (was his name Pietro?) in the middle of a psychic link. Tommy had taken Luna to get some dinner since waiting for the adults wasn't feeding them. Billy volunteered to stay behind to monitor the siblings in case something went wrong. Billy was the best bet when it came to overpowering Wanda since his powers were the most similar to hers.

"Hey, kid," Someone said, dropping from the rooftop onto the balcony. Billy readied his magic immediately, the blue energy filling with electricity as Billy felt threatened. The new arrival was a blonde haired woman in a white uniform. On her sleeve was a patch with a sword designed onto it. The person had a holster attached to their belt, but they didn't reach for the gun even when Billy was aiming his powers at them.

"Relax, kid, I'm not here for a fight. I'm just hear to chat," The woman said, walking to the end of the balcony, leaning against the side. "We should keep this quick. I have... maybe three minutes before Spider-Man arrives to deal with me."

"What do you want? Who are you?" Billy said, putting his hands away. The magic dispersed but Billy could call it back in an instant if something went wrong. Billy looked back at Wanda and Pietro. They didn't seem to react to the sudden appearance. Billy knew that it was his responsibility to protect them while they were in this state.

"We can skip the formalities. All you need to know is that I am Agent 13 for SWORD, the new SHIELD. Nick Fury requests that certain members of this household attend SWORD academy for a few weeks, maximum," The woman said. Agent 13 didn't look at Billy, her gaze somewhere on the horizon.

"You want to do experiments on us, don't you? You want to learn how me and Tommy could be Wanda's children. Or maybe you fear our powers?" Billy guessed, taking a step back. Even in a world of heroes, all those that were weird at a genetical level were considered less than human. Spider-Man faced many troubles when his identity was revealed. It took a lot of convincing for the legal system to prove that Peter was still human, not spider, and therefore qualified for human rights, like not being experimented on.

"Not entirely true. We want to test your limits. We also want you and Luna to learn control. It would be a dangerous situation if either of you lost control," Agent 13 explained. "We have footage of you electrocuting a classmate on accident. You have no clue how to control the electricity yet, do you?"

"Not exactly, no," Billy hated to admit that. He had tried his best, but his electrokinesis wouldn't respond to his call. His magic could be flipped on and off like a switch. Billy didn't know the full potential of his powers, but at least they were in his control. The lightning was the one aspect that acted independently from Billy.

"Exactly SWORD's point. It won't be long. A few weeks at most. We need to have a complete file saved away. Do you think you can talk to Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver about this? At the moment, those two have legal guardianship over you, Tommy, and Luna. SWORD can take you three by force, but we'd rather not bloody the waters when such powerful people are involved," Agent 13 explained, turning to talk to Billy face to face.

"I'll... I'll try. I think working with professionals would be for the best," Billy responded with a sigh. "Why cone to me, though? Why not directly ask Wanda or Pietro?"

"... I don't know," Agent 13 said softly. She turned her body, pointing a gun towards the sky. When she fired, a grappling hook shot out instead of a bullet. The hook wrapped around the edge of the rooftop. Agent 13 gave Billy a salute before pulling on the rope, speedily climbing up. Before Billy knew any better, Agent 13 was gone.

Agent 13 sighed when she hit the ground. She grabbed her stomach, puking up whatever she last ate. Agent 13 rubbed her mouth to get some of the vomit off her lips. When she pulled her hand back, Agent 13 saw a fuzzy purples circles with hollow centers rippling over her hand. She looked around, finding a reflection to see herself in. Agent 13 saw purple eyes staring back at her. Agent 13 reached for her gun, backing up into another person. The person grabbed Agent 13's hand with the gun in it.

"My dearest, you have done well. Now it is time to rest," The person said, waving their hand over Agent 13's eyes to put them to sleep. Kiraman smiled, satisfied with her handiwork. She looked up at the tower. SWORD wanted Billy, yes, but it was Kiraman who orchestrated what Agent 13 said and who she spoke with. SWORD wanted to directly ask Wanda. Mephisto had other plans.

"Well, Eleleth, I imagine you will do as good as I," Kiraman said, pulling Agent 13's body into the corner of the alleyway. It didn't matter if SWORD found Agent 13 or not. The agent wouldn't be waking up for a good while. Kiraman made sure that Agent 13 was trapped in a realm she didn't want to escape from.

"Mmm. This pizza smells amazing," Tommy said, holding Luna's hand while the other arms carried a few boxes of pizza. Luna balanced the breadsticks in her palm. She looked around New York with pure fascination. Tommy wondered if Luna had ever been to New York. He was about to ask when he saw something alarming.

Lisa sat on a park bench. She was facing to Tommy's side, so he saw her but she didn't see him. Tommy was about to run towards her, but then he looked at Luna. He couldn't involve a little kid in his personal drama. Tommy hadn't heard from Lisa since their big escape. She went MIA since Stark Towers. Why would she be here of all places? Tommy needed to investigate. But he couldn't have Luna there. That would cause trouble. If Lisa wasn't who she said she was, Tommy would prefer Luna as far away as possible.

"Okay, Mooncake, here is the plan. I'm going to hold the food while you play on that playground for a little bit. It is your first time here, why not enjoy yourself a little?" Tommy bargained. As mature as Luna could be, she was a small child that jumped at the chance to play. She gave Tommy the breadsticks before running towards the other children at the playground. Luna didn't even notice Lisa.

Tommy marched towards Lisa. He swiftly placed the pizzas on the bench before standing in front of Lisa. She looked up at him with surprise. She began to say something, but Tommy beat her to the punch. "Where the hell have you been? You said we would go to California together. Have you been using me somehow?"

"Shepherd, please be quiet. I had my reasons. I got mixed up with some bad people while looking for my informant. I'm in the clear but you aren't. There's an underground rumor circulating about you. Some dangerous men want to experiment on you and that other kid. Listen to me, get somewhere safe. Don't you have friends at SHIELD? Try talking to them," Lisa said, grabbing Tommy's hands. She seemed serious.

"SHIELD doesn't exist anymore, Lisa. I can protect myself anyways. I don't need some spy organization," Tommy defended himself. He hadn't used his powers very much, but he felt he could dish out a good beating of needed.

"Oh, I'm sure SHIELD exists in some form or another. You can't defend yourself against this guys. Not without proper training, Tommy. Please listen to me. If not for yourself than for that little girl over there. The guys after you have no morals. They wouldn't hesitate to rape or kill her," Lisa explained with a concerned face with a hint of anger. She didn't like it when people didn't listen to her. Of course, Tommy didn't notice.

"... fine. I'll find my way to a safe place. Do the same, Lisa," Tommy said. He turned to walk away, but after a moment, he turned back. Tommy grabbed Lisa's cheeks, holding her face in place. He gave her a kiss before breaking it a few seconds after. "I needed to do that. In case either of us died. I need you to know that I care about you. I'll see you in California."

Tommy grabbed the food, and sprinted off to get Luna. Lisa remained at the bench, looking at the world strangely. She didn't hate the kiss, but she didn't feel any strong emotional reaction from it either. Lisa breathed out a sigh. She felt in her gut that Tommy was gone, but Kiraman was now right behind her. "I feel bad for him. He has no idea what he is getting himself into."

"He is a lovesick moron. I can't wait to sacrifice him," Lisa said with a clenched fist. Tommy would learn soon enough that Lisa wasn't his friend. They weren't on the same side. Lisa was destined to sacrifice Tommy to Mephisto in order for the devil to come to life. Lisa would win this war and Tommy would lose. Lisa couldn't wait to see Tommy's crushed feelings showing on his face as she stabbed him with a ceremonial knife.
