I was listening to Port talk about how his mustache was the pride of his village since he grew it at age 14. As he was yammering on, there was a knock at the door.

Port:"It's open!"

The door opened and Ozpin stepped in. He waved at the students before walking up to Port and whispered something to him. He nodded and laughed heartily.

Port:"Ahem! Students! It seems we have a new recruit in our midst!"

This caused everyone to murmur and Ozpin looked in my direction. He smiled and I smiled back.

So she's finally decided to join us.

Ozpin:"You're free to come in now."

The door opened again and Lady stepped into the classroom. She wore the academy uniform and she was turning heads. The guys practically drooled on sight apart from Ren. He was busy reviewing his notes plus Nora was blocking his sight with a textbook.

Ozpin:"Everyone, meet Lady. She will be joining the first years. And I will arrange a dorm for you. Sorry to interrupt your time, Port."

Port:"Fret not Prof. Ozpin."

He nodded and left the classroom.

Port:"Please, Lady, introduce yourself to everyone."

Lady:"Fine. Sup? I'm Lady. I got plenty of ways to deal with anyone who annoys the hell out of me. Just ask (Y/n) over there."

She motioned over to me and all eyes were on me.

"It's true. She'll shoot your leg and pistol whip you upside the head. Funny stuff."

Lady:"It's even funnier for me."

"She loves to have fun and laugh , gents. So, just make her laugh and you'll be golden."

I held up my hand and did an okay sign while clicking my tongue.

Port:"Since you're familiar with Mr. Rose, why not sit there next to him?"

Cardin:"Actually, there's an empty spot here!"

Port:"Ah! Mr. Winchester! How kind of you. Lady, you may take your pick."

She looked at Cardin who raised his eyebrows at her. And then at me.

Lady:"Wow. Really picking my poison here."

Cardin:"Come on honey, how about you sit with a real man?"

Lady:"Let me know when you see one."

This caused everyone to laugh at Cardin.

Yang:"Ooh, I like her already."

Lady:"Fine. I'll sit next to (Y/n)."

She began making her way next to me and sat down.

Lady:"If you think of messing with me, I'll smack you in the face."

"Hey, take it easy. This is the moneymaker."

Lady:"Ugh. You wish."

We shared a laugh as Port continued his story. When class ended, Yang walked up to Lady.

Yang:"Hi. I'm Yang, (Y/n)'s older sister."

Lady:"Oh hey. I love your hair."

Yang:"Aww thank you."

Lady:"He told me about you and the other. Ruby, was it?"

Ruby:"Yep! That's me!"

Lady:"I don't know how you two could deal with this clown."

Yang:"We have our ways."

Lady:"Please, do tell."

Saeko:"I'd like to have some of that information as well."

They laughed and walked out together.

"And just the other night they were freaking out over nothing. Women."

I followed after them and guys looked at Saeko, Lady, and Yang all walking side by side. If I was them, I would've done the same. These three were quite the lookers for first years. But if any third or fourth years try to make a pass at Yang, ho ho boy. They're gonna regret it.

Classes went by relatively normally and in between classes, guys would try and hit on one of the three girls. They all ended in rejection. It was then lunchtime. I was trying to eat in peace with my friends and Weiss, but dudes just kept coming up to make a pass at Lady.

Weiss:"Ugh, all these annoying boys won't leave us be."

"Hey! Jaune takes offense to that!"

Jaune:"Wha- Hey!"

Lady:"The next one that comes and asks me out is getting punched."

We nodded and continued eating and talking until someone tapped her shoulder.

Guy:"Yo, you the new chick right? How about you ditch these losers and come hang with a real-"

His voice trailed off and his eyes widened. Every single guy in the cafeteria reflexively covered their crotches and groaned in pain. Myself included. I was there at ground zero. I may take stab wounds to the chest everyday, but this is pain that can be felt on a universal level. Even the gods themselves would shrink back in fear if someone threated to hit them in the family jewels.

Ruby:"Hey (Y/n), are you okay?"

"Just...peachy..."

Pyrrha:"Jaune, you too?"

Jaune:"Nope... Fearing for my life right now."

Nora:"Ren?"

Ren:"Pain can be distributed among a crowd of people in different ways. This is one of those ways."

The guy fell over clutching his junk and his buddies had to drag them away. After a while, the shared pain subsided and guys left Lady alone after that. Jaune, Ren, and I moved to a different table to avoid getting on her bad side.

Lady:"Wow, I really thought more guys would come over here. I thought they liked it when girls can get rough."

Yang:"They just can't handle a woman."

Ruby:"Rough? Yang's rough with (Y/n) sometimes."

Our friends stopped and looked at us both.

"Ruby..."

Ruby:"Yeah?"

"Phrasing."

Ruby:"What? I don't get what you mean."

"That's right. You're too young for all that."

Ruby:"I'm just one year younger than you!"

Yang:"He's right Ruby. Some things are best left in the dark."

Everyone nodded in agreement.

Ruby:"Meanies! All of you!"

She pouted and looked away which caused us to share a laugh.

Later

As our final class was starting to begin, Ozpin walked in and asked for Lady. She went over and they spoke outside. She came back in and scowled at me before grabbing her pen and pointing it to my throat.

"Woah!"

Lady:"You and I are now rooming together. Try anything and the last thing you'll see is a bullet flying at you!"

"Alright. Alright."

She huffed and sat back down as everyone went back to focusing on the teacher.

Several Weeks Later

Lady adapted to school life relatively quickly. Her, Yang, and Saeko became the trio of girls that would skyrocket a dude's rep. However, each one was shot down. Some quite literally by Lady.

Speaking of dudes, Jaune has been acting kind of distant lately. Earlier today, Cardin beat him in a practice match and shoved him out the doorway. That wasn't the only thing that happened to poor Jaune. He was constantly getting tormented by the douche. He expanded Jaune's shield in the middle of a doorway, knocked his books out of his hands, put a "Kick Me" sign on his back, and shoved him in a locker and launched it.

"Jaune, you good man?"

Jaune:"Huh, oh! Y-yeah!"

He flashed a fake smile and I shook my head.

"Jaune, you need to do something man."

Jaune:"What do you mean?"

"I mean about Cardin."

Pyrrha:"(Y/n)'s right. The way he acts is completely unlike that of a true huntsman."

Nora:"We can break his legs!"

Lady:"I'm all about that plan."

Yang:"I'm leaning towards it too."

Jaune:"Let's just calm down guys! I'm perfectly fine!"

?:"OW! Let go! That hurts!"

We heard someone getting hurt and turned our heads to see Cardin and his lackeys bullying a Faunus girl.

Cardin:"HAHAHA! These are real!"

He yanked on her brown rabbit ear and made her cry in pain again.

Yang:"Ugh. There he goes again."

Blake:"Can't believe what I'm seeing..."

Ruby:"It must be hard being a Faunus."

I glanced and saw that everyone at the table simply looked on in pity. I let out a sigh and jammed my fork through the table. This caused everyone to jump and look at me.

Ruby:"(Y/n)?"

I got up and walked over to Cardin.

"Yo! Cardin!"

He stopped and looked at me before smirking.

Cardin:"What the hell do you want?"

"I just wanna talk."

Cardin:"About what?"

"About letting that cute girl go."

Cardin:"You mean, freak?"

He yanked her ears again and caused her to yelp.

"Try to do that again and I'll make you kiss the ground."

Cardin:"Oh yeah?"

"Yeah."

He got ready to tug her ears again, but I went first and backhanded him across the face.

Blood shot out from his mouth as he flew back and landed on the cafeteria floor. Everyone let out a shocked gasp as his lackeys all tackled me to the floor.

The Faunus girl looked shocked as Cardin got up.

Cardin:"You asked for it now, you cocky bastard!"

I laughed and shook them off me and got back up.

Cardin:"Four on one asshole. You may have beaten that stuck up Pyrrha, but you ain't no match for us four! We're some real tough men!"

"Real idiots is more like it. A real man wouldn't pick on the weak. A tough man would fight for them. My dad was just that. A real tough man. A total badass! And to see all these future huntsmen and huntresses do absolutely nothing about standing up for her just pisses me off! I'm not the perfect huntsman either so I don't really have room to speak, but at least I've got a set of morals and principles to follow."

Lady: Sparda, he did indeed fight for the weak. Guess (Y/n) really isn't that bad.

Saeko: He's actually standing up for her...

Cardin:"Tch! Whatever! Everyone here is just a pussy! That's why they didn't bother to stand up for her! And also because she's a total freak! Some dumb animal!"

"Now you've really crossed the line."

I kicked him in the gut and made him hunch over in pain. Dove ran at me, but I ducked and grabbed his shirt and threw him on the table. He slammed into several trays and got food all over his back. Sky grabbed a lunch tray and slapped the back of my head with it. I simply turned and socked him across the jaw and watched him fall. Lark gulped nervously and let out a small sigh.

I put a hand on his shoulder and pat it gently. This made him relax, but that was a mistake.

Cardin simply looked at me before running away. The girl got up and looked at me with a red face.

?:"Th-thank y-you!"

She quickly ran out as everyone just stared at me. I scoffed and left the cafeteria without saying a word to my sisters or friends.

I wandered aimlessly around the school. I eventually stopped and sat down on a bench.

Ozpin:"You've certainly caused quite a ruckus."

I looked up and saw Ozpin standing in front of me.

"Guess I'm getting in trouble for it?"

Ozpin:"Nope."

He took a sip from his mug and looked at me.

Ozpin:"You managed to teach the students a thing or two. I'm quite glad to see you carry your father's morals. Team CRDL will be reprimanded for their deplorable behavior. However, should something like that happen again, try and take a more civilized approach."

"Hard to do that when the dude lacks common sense."

Ozpin:"Hm. I guess you're right about that. Well then Mr. Rose, I'll be off but before I go, you're free from attending your last few classes. That way you may take that time to blow off some steam."

"Thanks Oz."

Ozpin:"You're welcome."

He began walking off as I looked down at my hands and stood up.

No One's POV

When classes started, everyone remained silent. (Y/n), the class clown and goofball, actually got serious for a brief moment and made everyone feel horrible. Different thoughts ran across everyone's minds especially his sisters. (Y/n) always stood up for Ruby and her friends against some bullies back when she first started Signal. And even against teachers that tried manipulating some students.

After classes were over, everyone tried to go back to normal. Saeko and Lady went to the dorm, but didn't see him there.

Team RWBY went to theirs as Ruby and Yang sulked and stayed in their beds. Weiss just pondered on his words and actions. He killed an actual demon and fights to protect the weak. Something about it was reminding her of something or rather, someone. As for Blake, something resonated within her. Just seeing someone like (Y/n) get serious and defend a Faunus made her feel warm and fuzzy.

And later that night, Jaune and Pyrrha were on a balcony together. Jaune was looking down over the rail with a glum look.

Jaune:"I don't belong here."

Pyrrha:"Yes you do."

Jaune:"No. I don't. I lied alright. I never went to combat school, never passed any tests, I never rightfully earned my spot in this academy. I just wanted to be a warrior like my father, and my grandfather, and his father before him! Everyone here is far better than I can ever hope to be. And after seeing what (Y/n) did, just solidifies that fact. Everyone loves him! He's cool, strong, good looking, and is able to stand up to jerks like Cardin!"

Pyrrha:"Then he and I can help you-"

Jaune:"I don't want help! I want to do this on my own! I don't wanna be the silly comic relief guy while everyone else is out there putting in actual effort as they fight for their lives."

Pyrrha looked down and nodded softly.

Pyrrha:"If that's what you want..."

She walked away with her head down as Jaune sighed. Once Pyrrha was gone, Cardin climbed up and blackmailed Jaune into doing his homework. Cardin wasn't the only one listening in as (Y/n) sat on a tower and shook his head softly before leaving.

The Next Day

Prof. Goodwitch was taking the students to a place known as Forever Fall Forest. They were tasked with collecting sap from the trees. Jaune was getting the sap for Team CRDL before they tasked Jaune with throwing a jar at Pyrrha. He refused and threw it at Cardin.

The sap on his armor caused an Ursa to appear and attack them, but Jaune stood his ground and fought back. He had a bit of assistance from Pyrrha but he still proved a point to his former bully. Once the commotion died down, Glynda was asking the students to board the bullhead back to Beacon, but (Y/n) was missing.

Glynda:"Ms. Belladonna, could you go look for (Y/n)?"

Blake:"Yes ma'am."

Blake ran around the forest and sniffed the air to pick up his sent. She found it and followed it. She reached a cave and heard sounds inside it.

?:"So, you're the one with his scent? I must say, you don't look like much."

(Y/n):"Well I'd rather not look like much than look like you."

?:"You dare mock me!"

A loud roar was heard as the cave shook and Blake began hearing gunshots and (Y/n) laughing.

?:"I will feast on your flesh and bones! Spawn of Sparda!"

Blake: Sparda? I think I've heard of that before.

Soon enough a screech was heard and (Y/n) walked out while whistling. He saw Blake and winked at her before continuing his walk. She shook her head and followed him.
