
Persons (1st, 2nd & 3rd)
To pronouns for 1st, 2nd and 3rd person are very important to form sentences. In spanish they are:
1st person:
Singular: Yo ~I~
Plural: Nosotros ~We~
2nd person:
Singular: Tú ~You (sing.)~
Plural: Ustedes, Vosotr@s. ~You (pl.)~
3rd person:
Singular: El ~He~
Ella ~She~
Es@ ~That~
Plural: Ell@s ~They~
Es@s ~That (pl.)~
There are also possesive pronouns for each person, but in spanish (like in english) there are two words that mean the same pronoun (ex.: my, mine) but one of them go before what is owned (ex.: that is my bowtie) and the other goes after (ex.: that bowtie is mine). {Author's note: If it was too complicated please say so in the comments! Also bwio= before what is owned. awio=after what is owned} These are the spanish possessive pronouns:
1st person:
Singular: mi ~my (bwio)~
mí@ ~mine (awio)~
Plural: nuestr@ ~our, ours (bwio) (awio)~
2nd person:
Singular: tu ~your (bwio)~
Plural: tuy@ ~yours (awio)~
3rd person:
Singular/Plural/Formal:
Su ~his/hers (bwio)~
Suy@ ~his/hers (awio)~
(Apply to singular, plural or formal 2nd person)
Pronouns after: for
In both languages there is a pronoun for the destination of something. (Ex.: For me, For you, For him, For her, For them) These are the words in spanish:
1st person:
Singular: para mi ~for me~
Plural: para nosotros ~for us~
2nd person:
Singular: para ti ~for you~
Plural: para ustedes ~for you~
3rd person:
Singular: para el, ella ~for him, her~
Plural: para ellos, ellas ~for them~
