SYNOPSIS

CRESS PALPATINE HAD BEGUN feeding information to the rebellion. Whatever she could attain, she sent.

Regarding the fact of her "betrayal," she knew of two things.

One, that her grandfather was aware and was biding his time, to amuse himself perhaps? The two had been playing a game of tug of war about who between the two of them was winning. 

And second that he indeed was the one ascending to victory and so she attempted to make her escape.

Aboard the so-called, mighty Death Star, she had carefully memorized the maze created. However upon bumping into a, Leia Skywalker and her companions, Cress' plan fell through and a new one was formed. Accompany her and her friends and leave. as soon as possible.

LEIA SKYWALKER DID NOT HESITATE TO ACCOMPANY, Obi Wan Kenobi along on his mission to save the Prince of Alderaan from the clutches of the Empire. In a matter of only a day she had gone from a farm-girl who'd never even seen another planet to the rescuer of a rebel prince, and a Jedi (almost).

On such a mission is where she met Cress. And their fates had been aligned since.
