Not only our feet were intertwined but our hearts.
We didn't think with our eyes but with our souls.

I desperately wanted this moment to last forever.

You started to smile and say it's alright,
But we both knew it wasn't,
Water formed in your eyes which I soon recognized as tears.

I was begging to know what was happening.
We kept on dancing because you told me it was nothing.
How come I started to feel nothing?

The music started to go slower,
Then I asked you why,
But then again you had now begun to really cry.

I was oblivious to the raw emotion that was held inside your heartless eyes.
I should've recognized that one tear was worth a thousand lies.

Or was I just your life?

The music stopped.
You started to scream,
Begging that I'll be safe,
I again asked what was happening..
You said it's alright, you'll be fine!
Why! Why tell me all these silly lies?

You faded into the background and the scene replayed again and again.
The world around us started to turn black.
A puddle of sorrow formed beneath your feet.
The fear in stopping started to control you.
I was your lifeline but you just didn't know you were so full of life.

I have never truly experienced this type of dance;
The slowest and the most
passionate one,
Which will be one of the first and the last dance you have ever yet to receive.
