They entered in the resort as they were greeted with garlands and arti by the resort staff..Shreshth saw them near the door he came to them greeting them as he pulled Shehnaaz in a side hug and shook Sidharth's hand which he took back as soon as it came clasping Shehnaaz's hand again in his..... which still felt cold to him..Shresth tried to take Vaidehi to meet her when Shehnaaz interrupted.."Nahi Shreshth so rahi hai vo..fir royegi usse Sidharth ke paas hi rehne de.." she said rather coldly..taking Shresth a little aback but before he could react Shanaya came from behind hugging Shereshth from side as he pulled her into him..and she smiled at the trio..

"Baby...this is Sidharth Shukla..he is a well known business tycoon.." Shreshth said introducing Sidharth as they both nodded at each other exchanging smiles.

"And this is"

"Teri Shenu" Shanaya said before Shreshth could complete engulfing Shehnaaz into a hug..Shehnaaz was slight baffled at the warmth she showed to her..when she continued.."Shreshth has told me so much about you...he always tells me how important role you have played in his life...I am so glad to finally meet you and even more happy that you decided to come...It would have been incomplete without you..."

Shehnaaz just smiled at her saying nothing...you know when the person you technically should dislike for taking your place is so good and kind that you can't hate them, that is some real pain in the ass...Shehnaaz was just getting irritated now, firstly she knew she was over Shreshth but still it bothered her to no ends that how he moved on so easily ........and is getting married to a girl who he met hardly two week ago and secondly it turns out that that girl is actually really nice..she was pacing around her room as Vaidehi slept peacefully on the bed after Sidharth placed her there..Sidharth..why is he being so nice plus this facade she had to put in front of people that they are together was actually making her nervous...what if someone finds out about it..she just got out of one awkward situation when Shreshth literally asked them if they need two rooms or one and they stared at each other cluelessly..she decided to fix herself a coffee to actually help her drag herself out to meet people and face them, well that was in itself a challenge..facing Shreshth's family, their friends..familiar people who will be judging her or maybe worst looking at her with sympathy.......She just pulled on her hair groaning... as she got in the washroom to freshen up..

She walked out of the room locking the door behind...She knew Vaidehi won't be up for atleast an hour but she left a phone besides her so she can call if she does get up...She was walking around looking at the beautifully lit hallway with flower decorations and lightings all around..she heard voice of music coming from some place, she followed the sound walking in the direction..She saw backside of a choregrapher doing the steps helping in rehearsals..She just stood there watching it..

"Shehnaaazz..." the choreographer squeaked as she turned around looking at her..taking her into a hug..."Youu came bro...I am so happy...Tuje yaad hai teri shadi m bhi m hi" she stopped in realization looking at her..."I am sorry I didn't mean to" she said regretfully...while Shehnaaz just smiled looking at her nodding...

"Shenu...."she heard multiple squeaks now she looked besides..finding a bunch of Shreshth and Shehnaaz's friends coming to her smiling and hugging her...when one of them said.."Yaarrr...I mean abhi bhi believe nhi ho raha Shreshth is remarrying...I mean you guys looked like so meant to be..I was rooting for you guys from so long..kya yaar.." Ridhima said in an excited and sad tone...

"Yaarr...no you guys are not getting steps right...coordinate nahi ho raha" they heard the choreographer saying turning their eyes towards Shanaya and Shreshth who seemed to be rehearsing on a couple dance song..

"Lets try again" the choreographer said showing them steps as Shehnaaz and their friends seated themselves at some beddings covered in white sheets in front of the stage where they were rehearsing...After 5-6 takes the choreographer seemed to be frustrated at the lack of coordination in steps...."Shanaya babes you are not getting it right...wait..." she looked around and gestured to Shehnaaz who was looking at them to join her for a moment...Shehnaaz got up reluctantly and choregrapher asked her to do Shanaya's step while she did Shreshth's steps...Shehnaaz hesitantly agreed and not surprisingly but she got it perfect in first time as they both tried to teach the couple on the stage..but again after 2 tries their steps refuted to match each other...the choreo sat down..and got up excitedly.."Shehnaaz tu kar ke dikha ek baar Shreshth ke sath..that way Shreshth will also understand how to lead the dance and Shanaya bhi seekh jayegi..."

"No No...Kya bol rahi h yar..I can't" Shehnaaz said getting up to leave...

"Common Shenu...I really don't mind...I know you guys were partners in dance school as well am sure it will be helpful" Shanaya said smilingly coaxing Shehnaaz...her niceness actually made Shehnaaz stomach churn..after a lot of pestering from friends ,choreo and ofcourse the couple who strangely refused to find anything awkward about the situation Shehnaaz agreed as she stepped on the stage...The music played..

"Paaya maine Paaaya tuje...rab ne milaya tuje"

As expected Shehnaaz and Shreshth steps matched perfectly as Shreshth twirled her around and they both danced perfectly to the rhythm.....coordinating steps in one go..Shehnaaz actually got into the song as she danced with him remembering the days when they were together in the dance class and how they had been best friends since forever...Her trance was broken by sound of claps as Shehnaaz looked around at the audience recomposing herself but what caught her attention was Sidharth standing amidst the audience with hands in his pocket his eyes giving away a strange kind of pain or hurt..she could not decipher..he looked at her disappointedly as she got down the stage, she wanted to talk to him and clear it out when she saw Vaidehi running to her..telling her she was hungry..Shehnaaz had to go because she knew Vaidehi was hungry from long and partly because she did not know what should she explain to Sidharth when she herself did not understand what she was doing..why was she doing it, why did she feel need to remember her time with Shreshth, why did those memory flash in front of her eyes , why did she lack conviction in saying no to the dance with Shreshth...why does she want to hate Shanaya when she is actually a nice girl.....why did she feel a strange tinge when she saw disppointment on Sidharth's face, its not like they are actually dating then why does she feel an urge to answer him...her mind was a mess and she was getting frustrated by it with every passing second trying to figure things out...

She was walking in the trail of buffet her hands were almost shaking as she put the food, she was so near to the breakdown at the complicated mess her life was in..when she felt a tap on her shoulder..She turned around to look..her eyes slight watery..

"It'ok...Give it to me" Sidharth said nodding and smiling at her..... taking the plate from her hand ....his smile had that assurance that it will be fine and this is normal..his smile suddenly made her hands steady as if this was all she needed...he was so calm ....the sting she saw in his eyes a few minutes ago was still there but he covered it with his smile...he no longer seemed disappointed as he put the food for three of them in a plate asking Vaidehi what she wants to eat and putting it in while Shehnaaz just followed him staring at back of his head and feeling her inhibitions shedding off in that one moment when he held her hand as he took her and Vaidehi towards the table to eat......
