another month later

after all of our friends abandoned us, it was just me, jug, and our baby. we had a doctors appointment today, and we would finally find out the sex of the baby. "maybe knowing the gender could help the gang accept it" i softly say into jug's ear as we wait in the waiting room, me softly tapping my foot. "maybe it will" jug's beautiful eyes rise to meet mine, "have i told you yet that i want this baby to have your eyes, juggie?". jughead laughs, "multiple times, my love".
"mr and mrs jones!"
we share are secret laugh. we registered under mr and mrs jones, and it makes us laugh whenever we hear it.
we are shuffled back into the small room, and get an ultrasound done. "pictures?" the small lady asks. we nod excitedly. we have a wall of our baby's pictures, all framed. "okay, the doctor will be back to tell you results!".
"her pep is promising" i smile over at jug.

"hi guys, are you ready to find out the genders?" dr. freeman walks in shaking a clipboard.
"genders?" jughead asks. "it's just one baby, right?"
"well, no. you are having three. two boys, and a girl" my eyes widen, and i know jug's do to. 
"thank you, dr. freeman" i say as she walks out.
"jug, three kids. i think we need to tell our friends" he nods, and pulls out his phone, texting the chat :  guys we need to talk. pops 30 minutes.
all replies say yes.

"are you both okay?" archie says, looking at us, and the envelope of the genders. "yea, all five of us" i say, clutching jug's hand. jughead opens the envelope, and shows them the pictures. of our three kids. "two boys, and a girl" jug says, a soft smile gracing his face. "holy crap, can you guys handle three kids?" veronica asks. "after we figure it out, yes we can. but we may need help. our kids outnumber us already". "count me in" betty says, and i smile at her. "us too!" archie and veronica say. "jughead you have like, super semen!" archie says, making jughead ears go up in flames. we all laugh like we used to, before jughead and i found out we were gonna be parents.
