I stared at this women Infront of me while she walked towards us. She did a little wave as she approached us. I knew what had happened at the store and to say I say I wasn't surprised in the least would be a understatement I knew once she pushed through the doors of the store mama would make her stay the night. She looked like she could do with a little rest she had really big bags under her eyes. Still she was so beautiful.

"Mama send you back here?" I asked while a small smile played on my lips. She was just staring at me like I had something on my face I resisted the urge to rub my face. All of a sudden she shook her head and started smiling. She had such a nice smile. I knew Jacob was staring at us trying to interact with each other.

"She did she actually forced me to stay the night here said I should be driving so late. She also said for you to bring me back to the store to feed me. I'm Meredith by the way and you don't have to do that if you don't want." She said in a hurry but as soon as she said feed her I was happy mama did this I'd have to thank her later.

All of a sudden I heard Jacob speak up and I groaned internally. "I'm Jacob! It's so nice to meet you I'm this big dummy's best friend." He said and I cute my eyes to him thinking he was the big dummy I'd tell him that later too.

She laughed out loud and said "It's nice to meet you Jacob."

"It would be my pleasure to take you to get something to eat. That's mama for you always the mother hen." I said chuckling a little bit.

"Just let me load up the truck and we can go." He said. She offered to help us and I thought where is this girl from. I told her there was no need cause Jacob was here. We got everything loaded up within a few minutes and Jacob told me he was gonna ride with me and leave his truck here. We all got in our vehicles and started on the way.

Jacob was sitting over there grinning like a fool. I finally caved and said "What the hell you smiling about?" Laughing a little bit while shaking my head.

"You don't even know the girl yet and you already head over heels for her. You got it bad man." He said still smiling.

"I do not have it bad and how do you know anyway. Your right I don't know her but it won't stop me from getting to know her." I said while the wheels in my head was turning. I know she'll be staying the night at Ms Maggie's boarding house so I wonder if we could hang out.

"Earth to Opie." Jacob said while snapping his fingers in front of my face. "Man you do got it bad ignoring your best friend for a girl." He said while laughing.

"Man you do to you ignore me all the time for Jess! You're whipped you don't even take part in your own wedding." I said while shaking my head

"It's to stressful for me I told Jess to do what ever her heart desired." He said seriously. We finally pulled up to the store and got out and waited for her. She got out and we told her that mama was probably gonna fatten her up. She said she could handle what ever she threw at her. We sat and ate and talked for a while I asked her if we could hang out later and she said that'd be nice. So here I am getting ready to hang out with her as mama is asking me a million questions a minute. Like where were going and what we plan on doing I told her we were going to hanks bar and grill to dance maybe this time I won't get stood up.
